"No matter how strong or what power the enemy has, I will fight and protect my friends, even if it cost me my life to protect them. I will fight until I die to ensure their future."
@Kristia: You made a small mistake in your bio. The alchemist is a jin not a yun as yun are all female. I checked the third era agin just to make sure it wasn't my mistake. Also you neglected to add your classs (mage necromancer assassin ect) it can be pretty much anything you want but please put soemthng for it. Once thoses are fixed consider the app accepted
I haven't really read any apps yet to doing any accepting. Still working on mine, all that's left is this damn Bio of mine.
"No matter how strong or what power the enemy has, I will fight and protect my friends, even if it cost me my life to protect them. I will fight until I die to ensure their future."
@Tewi Yay ♡ Yeah I realized that rear heels weren't invented until the 16th century. Then again many people say medieval but include renaissance stuff soo
I getted this done Spoiler Name: Zena Evandar (Zee Nah( (Eh-van-dar)
Age: 18
Race and sub race: Elf Noroi
Gender: Female
Class: Paladin
Bio: Zena was born on the streets of Sanctuary to an unwed mother. As an infant she was sent to an orphanage where she lived for most of her childhood. It was a nice place for the most part. There were plenty of toys to play with, soft beds to sleep on, and the food wasn't' too bad either. It wasn't gourmet or anything but it was still tasty. She got along well with all the other kids, but there was one child in particular that caused trouble for her. There was a human male orphan, about two years older than her. He was bigger than all the other kids and he bullied anyone with pointed ears or fur. His influence got the other kids to do so as well, leaving them shunned as outcasts. It wasn't' so bad when they were young, the bullies would simply make fun of them and bar them from any games. As they got older though the human boy became more and more cruel. He would hit and beat the other children, pour milk on them and boss them around like they were his servants. Zena was the only one who stood up to him, doing whatever she could to shield the rest of the children from his bullying. Day after day she took their beatings and their torment, doing what it took to keep them safe. Eventually he gave up on bullying the other children and simply focused all of his attention on her. What made it worse was that the same children she had worked so hard to stand up for turned on her and joined in the fray, teasing and insulting her from the sidelines.
Zena was 8 year old before she finally managed to escape the constant bullying. Having had enough of it she finally snapped. She had fought back in the past but this time something different happened. A beem of light came from her body and sacked the bully, knocking him through a thin wall. It was the first time she had ever used magic but it was enough to scare the bully into submission. After that the bullying just stopped. Everyone got along like they should have and no one had to live in fear. Her brave act ended up attracting the attention of a certain spirit. Zena had always been able to talk to spirits, it was a power all elves shared. However Zena recognized this ghost immediately. We was that big statue at the center of town square. The legendary Paladin Artix!
The two of them spoke briefly. Artix gave her words of encouragement, congratulating her for overcoming her adversity. The last thing he told her before leaving was to never give up, but then he vanished. She never saw him again after that but speaking with him had enspired her. Zena wanted to becomea great hero like Artix, and she was willing to do anything to make it happen. On her ninth birthday she finally left the orphanage when she was adopted by an orc blacksmith. He was a kind man who wanted disciple to pass down his wisdom too. Zena learned everything the wise orc could teach her about the art of smithing and eventually she wold use what she learned to craft her own blade.
When little Zena finally came of age she started her new life as an Advocate of Sanctuary. She trained night and day mastering her magic, her blade and learning all there was to know about being a paladin. She was following in Artix's footsteps and she was going to make him proud. Zena went about her day to day life keeping the peace and on occasion arresting criminals for their crimes. With her hopes and ambitions high Zena faces the world and all of it's many wonders, and horrors.
Powers: Zena can summon the power of light to do anything from banishing unread, to healing wounds, to lighting up a dark cave. Using light magic she can super charge her sword with the power of light, giving i the ability to slay ghosts and do heavy damage to the undead. However Zena has a hard time fighting enemies that are still alive as most of her magic is meant for either slaying evil or healing team mates.
Gear: Zena has a beautiful long sword with a golden handle and an enchanted steel blade. She wears a cross around her neck which can be used to set lost souls free and send them to the afterlife. She always keeps a canteen handy at al times for when traveling. She also has a small pouch where she keeps her money.

She is very contagious and will never back down from a fight. Even if the odds are stacked against her, her never say die attitude always shines through. She may not be the greatest worrier but she has a strong will that can never be broken. She has a strong disliking toward liars thieves and traitors and can even lose her temper when dealing with one such characters. Honesty and trust are very important to her and once lost her trust can be difficult to earn back. She dreams of one day becoming a great hero like the heroes before her. Apex info: Spoiler The Apex are a race of what appears to be ape/monkey-human hybrids that live in a remote village in a jungle quite far off from Sanctuary. For a good amount of time, the Apex seemed to have stayed in their little village in what they consider to be 'their jungle'. It takes a good solid week of traveling via transport (and even longer if on by foot) to make it to their jungle from the city of Sanctuary. Once in 'their jungle' one would need to find their village. Which isn't that easy of a thing to do. As the jungle is quite dense, and one could easily get lost in it... if you travel by foot. The one thing that kept their village safe, is that the village was built into the large trees of the jungle. Meaning that it is safe from the ground, and the only way to find the village is to climb the large trees. Which can be difficult for certain species (humans in particular) to reach the village without aid of an Apex.
The Apex themselves are quite interesting in their abilities. They are just as intelligent as humans, slightly stronger than a well-fit human (but not by much, and their strength actually comes from serious training.) The main traits of the Apex is their physiology similar to typical apes and monkeys. The Apex can appear as any kind of primeape or monkey, with the exception of the fact that they all walk upright much like a human as well as knowing speech. Their feet are also like that of an ape/monkey, in the sense that their feet are kind of like secondary hands that can be used to grab hold of surfaces like branches or various items. This helps them in traversing through their village in the trees. Along with their hand-like feet, certain types of Apex can have a tail. Usually these tails are also prehensile, meaning they have quite a lot of range with their tails. This can help even further with things ranging from minor tasks, to self defense.
In terms of intelligence, the Apex shows quite a bit. They are masters of the Jungle, and that includes farming, navigating, and building. Most of their contraptions are powered via water or wind (usually through a water-mill down below, or a windmill up above.) They also have their own religion known as Apexis (Apexis is sort of like real-life Bhuddhism. More on this can be told if you wish for me to.) They even have their own language as well, however they do take their time to learn other languages from the world. In terms of medical care, they don't have the best. Usually their medicines are made from special herbs found in the jungle, and bandages made of well... rather standard cloth and leaves.
Unfortunately the Apex do not generally wander out of their jungle, and as such most of their experiences with the outside world are with the few, occasional travelers.
When it comes to self-defense, the Apex train in a special type martial arts that involves full use of their bodies. This means they use their hands, feet, and tail (if the Apex in particular has one.) Usually they are almost always moving. Preferring to use fast, quick strikes in an unpredictable pattern. In combat an Apex can be expected to be constantly on the move. Using their tails (if the Apex in particular has one), feet, and hands to climb, jump, and generally maneuver around the target. As such it is generally hard to face an Apex in hand-to-hand combat or in general melee based combat.
The Apex's weaponry are generally non-lethal. As they tend to use staffs made of wood, and poison darts from a blowpipe (with the poison being non-lethal, but capable of rendering a threat out cold.) After all they fight mostly for self-defense, not to kill.
The Apex might seem similar to the Yaju, however there are major key differences. They are a sub-type of Yaju, however unlike typical Yaju, the Apexian's cannot transform at all into an animal. They forever look like a crossbreed between an ape, and a human. They even though have the potential to learn and use magic, their religion they founded heavily prohibits the use of magic. For years they have remained, and consider themselves separate to the Yaju despite being a Sub-type to them.
They also do not live for nearly as long as typical Yaju, as most Apex-Yaju only tend to live until 50,000 years old. They are also not considered a senior until around 40,000.
Major weaknesses: The Apex's major weaknees is mainly their attention span. As even though the Apex are rather smart, their attention spans are rather short lived. Some Apex can train themselves to focus better, and as they age their attention span gets improves. The problems with an Apex's attention span seems to only affect the younger members of the race.
Another thing that is a weakness is their tails. For the Apex that possess tails, their tail is a important. For it helps them with not just various things, but also helps them to balance among other things. If one were to manage to grab the tail of an Apex, and yank on it hard enough, it could leave the Apex paralyzed until the person lets go. Hell, grabbing it is enough to throw an Apex off balance.
Gender: Male
Class: Warrior/Traveling Monk. Does not use a sword, but rather a staff. He even though is a bit of a prankster, has a strong belief in helping those he comes across.
Bio: Sarutobi was born to the Apex village of Wukong located deep within a jungle down south.
For years growing up, Saru lived the life of a son of the head of the Apexis Temple of Wukong. As such his life was rather boring, yet at the same time oddly entertaining. His general duties as son of the head of the temple involved lots of hard work and discipline. Day in and day out he had to train hard to keep his body in shape. He had little time to play or have fun with some of the other Apexian children. This made life for the young Apexian quite boring and dull, but he did find a way to have his own fun. Often times when he wasn't training or working in the Temple, he would often play pranks or jokes on the visitors, and even his own father... much to his Father's anger and dismay. This in turn would often end in some serious punishments for Saru. But the pranks he pulled, and the reactions he got from them did lighten up his boring life a bit.
Although out of his pranks, he would lose the respect of his father... This did upset and sadden Sarutobi, for he did genuinely care for his father... But playing pranks and jokes on others was so much fun! How could he give that up so easily? Either way his father had begun to lose respect in Saru, an Saru began trying to think of a way to make it up to his father.
Things though would get quite interesting... in both a good, and bad way. For one day a lone wanderer had entered Wukong Village. Or more like one of the Apexian farmers had found an injured man on the jungle floor, and as such the Apexian Farmer brought the man up to the village to treat his wounds. A few days went by and things were all fine. The man seemed to have recovered quite well, and he began sharing stories of a large city known as Sanctuary. A place where plenty of people come to live together in what sounded to be a pretty nice place. Saru for these past few days had constantly snuck away to listen to the stories this man had to tell. This continued for several nights until his father found out, and as such his father had forbode Saru from leaving the temple once the sun set past the treeline. This more than anything had left Saru quite sour with his father, and in turn the father and son of the Temple began to drift further and further apart.
It wasn't until about a month in that they people of the Apex village of Wukong had discovered what was going on. People were slowly becoming sick with some strange plague. For a larger portion of the village was getting more susceptible to the sunlight. So much so that members had seemingly began to burn in the day. Along with this the plagued Apex villagers were also beginning to crave something the Apex don't normally crave... blood.
As it turned out, the strange injured man that was brought to the city was a Vampire who was being hunted down by some other outsiders, and that this man was infecting the people of the Apex Village with vampirism. Something that the Doctors of the village could not cure. This was definitely not a good thing. It got so bad that there was only a small handful of non-infected Apex left in the village. With two of them being Saru and his father.
His father and a few others of the village that haven't been infected yet began to devise a plan. The plan was to send out one of the remaining non-infected Apex out of the village, and out of the Jungle to find a cure. Hearing this made Saru quite excited actually. He found this as a possible way to earn the respect of his father again. As such he volunteered. Normally his father wouldn't send out such a young 'child' out of the Jungle, but since Saru was currently the youngest of the Non-Vampire/Apex villagers. Saru was perhaps their only choice.
With it being settled that Sarutobi would be sent out of the Jungle to look for a way to cure the Vampirism and aid the village, the young Apex ventured out. The stories of a city by the name of Sanctuary kept coming to mind, and as such the young Apex had set off to look for this city.
Since he didn't have a quicker means of transport, he had to go by foot. For about the two weeks he was traveling he had encountered many people of several different races. He had faced several troubles along the way, but he continued on his journey. Thankfully with the little amount of english he had learned from previous visitors to the village, he managed to eventually find his way to the city of Sanctuary. Unfortunately his short attention span caught the better of him, and he had gotten distracted with the sights of Sanctuary, and forgot why he came all the way to the city.
Currently he is in Sanctuary, and has been learning even more English. He speaks English somewhat fluently, but he has more than enough of the language to live in harmony with the other residents of the city. It has been about a few months since he had first arrived in Sanctuary, and yet he still cannot remember as to why he traveled to this place. He's currently trying to remember what his goal was.
Powers: As an Apex, Sarutobi's agility and maneuverability is quite high. He's a natural when it comes to gymnastics. Anything ranging from climbing, and general parkour style movements. He uses this in conjunction with his fighting style which involves a solid, well made wooden staff. He normally is a trickster though, and he does also put that into his combat. For he usually fights in an unpredictable way, and often uses tricks and deception to fool his opponent. Anything ranging from small, handmade smokebombs that he made himself, to using some rather cheap tactics (such as tossing sand into his opponents face.)
On top of that but due to his training at the temple, Saru is actually quite skilled in being a disicplined warrior. He knows how to keep himself alive in the event of say an injury to the chest via sheer force of will, and focus. He may not be able to heal his own injuries, but thanks to his training he can manage to keep himself alive even if he say... to a dagger to the stomach. He will have to have a hand over his stomach, but he also needs to keep focused on his breathing. This can help him stay alive just long enough to seek out medical attention. Hell sometimes if he is battered and beaten badly enough, he will still get up and try to continue fighting through sheer force of will.
Thanks to his special, rigorous training, he is capable of entering a state in which he can actually clear his mind out of all distractions. When in this state he is quite dangerous. As he would be more focused, and in turn, more capable of concentrating on one thing and one thing only. His opponent. Unfortunately he has a rather hard time entering this "Zen Mode". For he never really finished his training. To be honest though, he never really bothers with this state anyways. Even then if he WERE to try and enter this state of complete and utter Zen, it would take quite a lot of concentration without interruption.
He currently does not know how to use magic, nor has he ever bothered. Though he does wish to learn more about magic sometime.
Gear: His wooden staff: Spoiler It is little longer than himself. With the staff being about 6ft exact.
He also occasionally carries a few homemade smokebombs that he had learned to make back in his village. Appearance: Spoiler http://i.imgur.com/RR42OtP.jpg Sarutobi stands at about 5ft 9, and he never wears a shirt, but he does wear some rather standard blue cotton pants beneath that armor on his waist. He also never wears shoes.
Personality:
Sarutobi is ambitious, eager, and generally mischievous. He enjoys having fun and generally is quite playful. He's the kind of kid that would probably ditch some hard work to either go pull a prank on someone, go play, or do anything else more entertaining than say... chores. He also is generally considered loud, obnoxious, and sometimes a nuisance despite usually having good intentions. The reason why people generally consider him loud and obnoxious is because well... he is a bit of a loud mouth. He's the kind of guy who is not afraid to speak his mind, whether the situation calls for it or not. If he thinks you look fat, he'll say it. If he thinks that your plan is faulty, then he'll just go and do his own thing EVEN if it might get him into some trouble. However he generally doesn't mean anything negative at all. For he was taught to be truthful with others, and as such he is.
Along with that he is quite arrogant and tends to have his head up in the clouds. He is not above talking down to people he thinks are lower than him or weaker than him. Despite this he is a generally good guy that is willing to help others. Even though he was raised to not expect anything in return for helping someone, he still loves to receive rewards for helping people. To him, a reward is just a bonus for doing something good. He's also quite greedy and easily distracted. He tends to fancy jewels and gems. He loves to collect them not for money... but just because he likes how they look. Even though he won't actually go and steal something from someone, he isn't the kind of monkey to just give stuff that he likes away.
In combat he is a bit different. In combat he shows far more discipline and self-control... to an extent. He may appear more focused in battle at times, he is still easily distracted. As such people who have realized this, actually tries to use this against him.
Also despite having forgotten why he came to Sanctuary in the first place due to being distracted with all the sights, he still wishes to help find a way to help his village... first he needs to remember that exact detail.
Ambitions:
He strives to help his village from near complete 'destruction' as he, and some of the remaining non-infected people of his village believe. He just forgot that well... that is what he's supposed to be doing. He also wishes to become a better fighter, and even explore more of the world.
Factions: Not with any real factions as of now. Though one would consider him to be with the Temple of Wukong.
Character Connections: None as of now.
Notes: Please note that he still is not highly skilled in combat. Just enough to help him in a fight.
Also do not call him a Monkey. Even though he technically is one, he hates being called it as he finds it to be an insult. If you do call him a monkey expect to be either pranked, slapped with his tail, slapped with his foot, slapped with his hand, or wacked upside the skull with his staff.
