Ok =w=;
I'll pay attention to what's in what area next time ^^;
Anyway could I do my little comedy skit and have this Happen?
- A wild pidgey appears!
- Lyrica is startled!
- Lyrica uses throw!
- Diggy is thrown at the pidgey!
- It's super effective!
- Pidgey is dazed/Paralyzed!
- Diggy is dazed/paralyzed!
EDIT:
I mean, I'm portraying Lyrica as some city girl who's never done anything with pokemon before. So it would be like...a reflex maybe?
So augmentations don't work? That's... problematic, especially since most of them play in the realm of "science" and play off of one another to allow him to use the suit. -_-;
If that's the case, then in canon, he would get killed by his own armor if he so much as moved an inch in it, due to only Spartans being able to use it without suffering broken bones and lethal spasms...
Should I hand-wave his suit's canon for this?
When you say that he only benefits from the armor, are you also saying that he benefits from the armor's strength and speed multipliers, or are those out too?
I can overlook the reflexes, but if I tone down his strength, should I say that he's as strong as a human without the suit, or should I say that he's stronger than normal, due to his increased muscle mass, training, and size?
Based on his size compared to me, as well as considering that he's 400 lbs, I would say that he would be able to lift about 1,700 -2,500 lbs without the suit. It would be fair, considering that the strongest man on the planet can lift 6,000 lbs, which puts John into the realm of human possibility. It makes him strong, but on the human level.
Would he still have his indestructible bones? They are literally grafted onto his bones. What about his neurons being coated in a superconductive material?
I feel like I'm over-complicating things and stirring up trouble, but they are very valid questions on how to try and adapt John for the story without turning his armor and augmentations into literal dead weight.
What do you think?

@Katrix
Oh.
You weren't too clear ya know.
I guess we can make the Ninjask a he, then.
@John
The reason why I don't want abilities of Characters enabled is because of this. A trainer usually isn't as strong as the pokemon. But if John is a Spartan, he has to be. This is where the problem occurs. If the pokemon loses, John can just punch his way in and take the Badges.
How about we make a compromise? John can have enough strength that you said, but at least make him notice that his power is missing or something to eliminate the said possibility.

Should I just leave my first battle post at the moves I initially said or could I have Lyrica be concerned and wind up accidentally catching the pidgey without realizing it and healing it at the pokecenter?
I don't think John would stoop so low as to punching animals and teenagers in the face, then stealing their badges! Isn't that against the rules!? XD
As for the compromise, sounds like a deal. It acknowledges that his augmentations still have an effect, thanks to the science behind it, but not to the effect they originally had.
Still, that would make for a hilarious scenario. <:'D

Nighty night.

Moves? I didn't give it anything? I just said the data was added, not specifically what :P
I'm clever-er than you give me credit on how to work in aspects w/o specifically saying what.
*how my story was functional without specific details*
Ninja Edit:
The nickname for the Pidgey is Mystia.
Obvious reasons are not that obvious.
