@ Mima

Who are you and what have you done with the Mima that started in my RP?!

Joking aside, honestly you always put enough to carry the story/thing forward. I honestly sometimes find it difficult at times myself to post anything more that a short phrase...I call it a way to lobby the ball back to the others' side of the court and hope they say/do something that I can then elaborate on.

But that's just me.

Oh and then that view of yours on AtWaG...
...I think it's obvious what I would ask next about a certain other RP that if, I had to compare it to anything, may contain a similar aspect for a certain planned out Part I and II.

EDIT: And my one question got overlooked...probably cause I made it seem like I was talking to myself instead of something I sought input from others on.

I just realized...
I'm treating Lyrica as though she is used to this world instead of just showing up not that long ago...
How subtly could I say I have been implying that she is not of this world without being blatantly obvious...

But that's different. Eternal Galaxy is MEANT to be that sort of thing. ATWAG was originally not really intended for that, though it sort of slid into that direction anyways. I really hope that doesn't really happen here.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

@ Mima

Ah...true...
At least I think I'm going backwards in terms of concept with it cause Part I + II are backstory builders and then Part III is an open free-for-all with the Venturia that's developed becoming the world which everyone can then free roam in.

Anyway...I also realized something from my research of Pokémon maps...

@ Katrix + Wriggle

Isn't Johto and Kanto regions really close?

Or how would this all work out? Do we first get the badges in the region we start in then work onward?

As for ATWAG and post size, it is something we might need to work on. I think itss just fine to use short posts on conversations, but on other parts, like traveling to a new area, it would be a good idea to establish what the place looks like. It would also be a good idea to try and dig deeper into the characters, giving a look into what they are thinking.

We could always implement that in the second season.

I would agree on that.

That's kind of how it works in Gold, Silver, Crystal, Heartgold, and Soulsilver.

You get the badges in Johto, beat the elite four and champion, move on to Kanto where you challenge the first 8 gym leaders from the first games (except for Koga who was replaced by his daughter while Koga had moved on to become one of the Elite Four), beat them, go to Elite Four again who are more powerful, beat champion who is more powerful than before, then go to Mt. Silver and challenge Trainer Red. The player character from the first Pokemon games Red, and Blue (and Green which was originally released in Japan and only Japan, but had a few problems and was updated as Pokemon Blue.)

Trainer Red of which is one of the most difficult trainers in the 2nd Generation because he has lvl 80 Pokemon and such.

@Kristia

Doesn't Prof. Rowan live in Sandgem Town, not Twinleaf?:confused:

I'm looking at the Wiki right now, and it says that he lives in Sandgem.

@Cuckoo
Pokemon level system isn't big enough for all 5 regions in one game. You're in luck, cuz like SUSTIC said, you can effectively get 16 badges thanks to Johto being right next to Kanto.

@Pringles
Professor Rowan does live in Sandgem. That doesn't mean you guys can't trt and go to Twinleaf -w-
