Maya's Enchanted Shop of Sorcery - TSU | 8:31 PM

Maya looked at Allen, then the mask. When she looked at the mask she got a somewhat neutral, yet somewhat happy look on her face.

"Oh that thing? Oh it's mostly for decoration. It has nothing special about it currently, but I could possibly do something to make it more "special" though that could cost extra. The mask itself though... I'd say about fifty student credits, or fifty bucks. I could also go the more interesting route and give it to you as a favor, but only if you do something for me in return. So what would it be you 'ghoulish" young man." She said with a chuckle as she stood up. She sensed something familiar coming from Allen. A familiar aura that she had felt before... many times before. She just couldn't pinpoint what it was though...

Allen walked up to the counter, looking like he's ready for anything.

"Alright. What'll it be?" He asked.

As if his aura weren't enough, there was something with his eyes. They were bright and red, almost as if his eyes could practically light up a dark room. But he doesn't have the teeth to be a vampire...

Maya looked at Allen and smiled.

"Like I said kid. If you promise to come here and clean the storeroom in the back of the shop every Saturday for the next month I'll throw that mask in as it is right now, nothing special, just for decoration for free. Pay an extra twenty student credits I can give you whatever you wish on that mask as long as your request is within my power." Maya replied as she leaned forward on the counter.

        "So what would you like?"

Allen put his arm on the counter.

"I'd like to take you up on that offer there," he said confidently in a slightly suave manner.

"Very well. From here on out you will be my personal cleaning boy. Every Saturday for the next month you will come here, and clean the back storeroom got it? I will also now through in one enchantment onto that mask for twenty student credits. You can pay it now, or work for two months to make up for it. So if you'll excuse me just hand me your card with your student credits, or just flat out give me twenty dollars and I'll take you to my Magic Room where I will then enchant the mask with one thing, and one thing only. Got it?" She replied as she looked deep into his eyes.

She finally realized what he was... He was a ghoul! How amazing! She had met several ghouls in her travels, but she never sold anything to a ghoul let alone have a conversation with one for this long...

            "So are you ready... kid?"

"Uh, sure thing. And, uh... Are my eyes that nice?" He said with a smile, noticing her staring at his eyes.

              Then he realized...

"Well I'm a vampire and I just happen to have small teeth," he said in a rush while looking away awkwardly...

Cygnus sighed and ruffled Trista's hair, just like him in the past. His hand felt cold, because of the sudden cold weather sapping him of his bodily warmth, but Cygnus' message was delivered nonetheless: Cygnus will try to find a way to break this curse.

Campus Entrance - Trinity Soul University

Shortly after Trista had posed her question, Cygnus conceded and decided to let Trista go ahead with it. That he would stop thinking about just himself and let Trista in on it. Trista giggled in joy and her tears stopped. Although the sadness of the curse remained, Trista couldn't help but feel happy that Cygnus would at least keep her in mind and let her help. Of course, Trista didn't possess the curse or know its effects firsthand so she couldn't support or help Cygnus on that front. Not yet. The least she could do was stay with him -something Trista would never give up- or research into the curse itself. But that posed a question, how freely available would the knowledge on serious mind-altering curses be? Trista doubted that it would be something she could get in the Library. And besides, it would only raise suscpicion to take out such a book. So, with all things considered, what could Trista truly do? This wasn't a wound or an emotional trouble. This was a curse. Something that Trista doubted she could get rid with her magic. But one day, when she has much more experience, she could try. She could at least try.

But with her thoughts on magic still in place, Trista realised the one thing she had yet to do. Show- No. Talk about and reveal her magic to Cygnus. Because, out of all the people aware of her powers, the one who earn the right to know the most was also the one who knew the least. Or so Trista thought. Given the fact that Cygnus did speak to her parents, it was entirely possible that he knew what she could do or what little her parents knew. It may be a strange thing in other people's but even Trista's parents knew very little about her powers. Except for what few abilities Trista was willing to show, they knew very little either. They didn't even know what kind of magic she possessed.
"Cygnus...? I... I have something to show you." Trista uttered quietly as she wiped away her tears, gently moved Cygnus' hand off her head, and stood up straight. "I want to show you... My powers."

Trista backed up a little from Cygnus and aligned herself so that, in Cygnus' perspective, Trista was directly below the moon. With her alignment done, Trista could begin. As slowly and as gently as she could, Trista lifted her arms up from her side and moved her hands over her heart. Trista then closed her eyes briefly and began focus on nothing but the moonlight around her and on releasing the energy contained within her. "Cygnus, I... I have the power of the moon!" Trista called out to Cygnus as she prepared the final part. Summoning up the power granted to her by the moon, Trista's body began to glow. Emanating her body was a light that was all too familiar and yet not at all. Unlike the other times, Trista's body light up in light with a more white coloration than before. A light that seemed more like the moon's own than an artificial one. And much like the moon's, it was neither too bright nor too dim. It was a brightness that it was visible from a certain distance but not blinding to those who gaze upon it. Without breaking her concentration, Trista then opened her eyes, lowering her arms, and saw before her the effects of her light. The gentle snow falling around her sparkled as the light passed through it. The frost that was beginning to form on the ground beneath reflected the light, giving Trista a set of floorlights. It made feel like Trista was performing on a stage. That she was the actress and the moon was her spotlight. Trista couldn't feel anything other than... euphoria. Pure joy as she unveiled her powers under the light of the moon and, all the while, showing it to Cygnus. Nothing could have beaten the feeling. Eventually, Trista stopped posing and observing, and looked back to Cygnus. Her magic was still running through her and her light still continuing to shine as brightly as it did.
"Well... W-What do you think?" Trista asked. "I possess the power of the moon. Lunar magic! Isn't that amazing?"

Medical Ward - Infirmary - Trinity Soul University

As prompt as she was, Julie reentered the ward with Sinuda's blood bag in tow. It was a strange sight to see in the infirmary. A medical technician carrying only a blood bag into a ward. If it were being carried to the operating theater or at least carried alongside some other equipment, then everything would look perfectly fine. But for only a single blood bag, nothing else, to be carried there would baffle some medical technicians. But Julie had her reasons and she wasn't afraid to use them should any other member of staff approach her. Not that she would need to because Jonas was in the waiting room doing his thing and Hanna was presumably in her office.

"I have your blood bag right here, Sinuda." Julie called out to Sinuda. Paying little to no heed to any other patients in the ward. The tone and volume that Julie's voice took made it seem like she didn't truly care about the patient's feelings and was solely focusing on her job at hand. With a movement pattern that seemed like it had been practiced in a routine, Julie handed over the blood bag over to Sinuda.
"You're lucky that you are a blood mage. Usually this kind of thing is against protocol. But as you do rightfully own the blood and I did take it while you were unconscious, you may as well have it back. But don't expect any more favours out of me. I work by protocol and order. And I only go by what I've been taught and what I am ordered to do."

Trista's glowing... with energy so pure it cannot be tainted. The power of the moon, Cygnus has heard of this power in books and legends... only the magicians of the purest, most constructive intention can attain this type of magic... funnily enough, the only person near him that could possibly attain this magic was Trista.

"It's... awe-inspiring." Cygnus could only say these words. He was speechless, not only that one of the strongest defensive power was in the hands on Trista, but that Trista could use the power with such mastery and competence. "I didn't even realize... Your luster pales mine, and I arrogantly pretended to protect you today..."

Trista's feelings began to mix up massively as listened to Cygnus' reaction. She didn't know what to think about what Cygnus had just said. On one hand, Trista felt happy that Cygnus appreciated her magic. But on the other hand, she felt rather torn and a bit sad over the fact that Cygnus put himself down and was beating himself up just because of this simple light. Before long, Trista's will faded and so too did her light. How could she continue when Cygnus was just beating himself up and letting everything get to him? This was not like Cygnus at all. In no way, shape, or form. Trista respected Cygnus because of his calmness and how it easily spread to those that he spoke and touched. Especially Trista. But here... Here it seemed that Cygnus was the one in shambles and Trista was the calm one. Which was not even the truth. Deep down, Trista was still herself. Barely changed from when she was young.
"Cygnus..." Trista called out, worried for the one who swore to protect her. "Cygnus, what are you trying to say? It's not like... I-It's not like I can even do anything with this." It was the truth. Trista knew next to nothing of her powers. All she knew how to do was to illuminate an area around her and heal people. She even had the power to sense people but she couldn't even control that. To Trista, it seemed that Cygnus was raising it higher than it needed to be. After all, much like what Trista said earlier, what good is a power if you can't even control it? "I have so much to learn and... there are so many things that I can't even control. And you saw one of those firsthand... my Sense. And you say that you pretended to protect me. But... if you really pretended, would you have actually helped me when I lost control of my Sense? Would you have stopped a conversation to check for potential threats? And just because I heard footsteps? Would you have even... tried to keep away a person who seemed hostile? Would you even... have come back for me?" Trista asked as she stared deeply in Cygnus' dichromatic eyes. "Cygnus... You say these things like your protection doesn't matter anymore. That... What was in the past doesn't matter anymore. It's obvious that you focus on the despair that tore us apart but... you forget what we shared. You forget what we promised... I still need you, Cygnus. I still want you to be with me. And I still want to be with you. To be by your side. And for you to be by mine. You don't know how much I've wanted to say that. You don't know how much I've missed you, Cygnus. You don't..." As this point, Trista's voice went quiet and she awaited for a response from Cygnus. If her words didn't get to him then Trista didn't know what else to do. To Trista, the conversation felt like it was getting darker by the second and that the Cygnus that Trista knew was getting further and further away from her. And that was the one thing that was beginning to scare Trista the most.

Cygnus smiled after Trista's speech ended. Trista could finally feel the warmth from that smile. "I'm sorry to make you worried. I promise that my curse will not affect what's between us."

"Shall we... go somewhere else?" Cygnus asked with a lighter, more casual tone. The snow was falling steadily, but not too heavy as to inhibit their movements. "Maybe somewhere warmer? Like a cafe?"

Trista couldn't help but smile in return. She couldn't help but feel content with the fact that she was able to help Cygnus. Something that she didn't know if she could even do. After all, helping someone who usually helped oneself? It seemed bizarre and unusual. But to Trista, it felt right. Being to do something for Cygnus in return for what he did for Trista really felt good.

Looking around her, Trista began to take notice of the increasing snowfall. It was bizarre. There were barely any clouds in the sky earlier and the moon was still visible in the sky. At first, Trista thought that it might have been some remnants of Kris' magic but even Trista didn't think that Kris would be powerful enough to create a snowfall like this for extended periods of time. Not that Trista considered Kris weak or incapable. It just seemed unrealistic. Not that she really knew the true possibilities of magic. After all, she wouldn't be that surprised if someone did make this snow. And that was probably the biggest thing that amazed Trista about magic. The kind of things people could do and what level of creativity they could have with it. Snow falling? Fire dancing? Electrical storms? And that was only the tip of the iceberg, if Trista knew anything. But despite the possibility of a magically induced snowfall, it was still getting cold nonetheless. Especially around her legs. Despite the fact that Trista wore a blazer and shirt, she didn't think too wisely about the rest of her clothing. A short pleated skirt with thigh-highs? Even Trista knew that it was a bad idea. But she didn't expect it to be THIS cold so she wore her... social outfit as she liked to call it. Just as she was about to say something about the cold, Cygnus sparked up the idea of going somewhere warm. For example, a cafe. Trista immediately took this up and decided that it would be a good idea.
"Yes..." Trista replied. "But... where should we go? Do you... Do you have an idea?"

Medical Ward - Infirmary - Trinity Soul University <Sinuda>

Sinuda just kept waiting, while trying to get a idea of what she could use. For a observer, she would look just blank, as if she was staring into the void itself. Maybe she even was? It was at least obvious that she was not where she looked to be. Sinuda knew where she was tough, she was wandering. Wandering and looking for a answer something that she could use. Anything really. At this point it didn't really matter that it was pretty anymore, it just needed to work. She was tired of wandering now. She had already wandered for so long. It must have been hours since she started now, maybe even more.

When she came back to herself again however, she noticed that it had only been maybe 30 seconds, at most a minute. It was kind of sad. For Sinuda at least it felt like so much longer. It just felt like all that time had been thrown out the window, as if it didn't matter at all. As if it was not important.

Just then the nurse came back with the blood. As Sinuda hadn't found anything better while thinking all that time, she decided to go with what she had initially thought of. A simple ring. She opened up the blood bag end let a little bit of it out. She then formed into a ring on her right middle finger, all while the nurse was still talking. She didn't really care about what the nurse said. She had her blood and that was that. "Thank you" she said with a dull and lifeless voice as she quiely walked away out of the place and out of the building.

Luck Cafe - Restaurant District - TSU | 8:35 PM

After Cecilia left, Jason grabbed the menu lying on the table and flipped it open. To be honest, Jason was a little surprised by the large selection of food the Luck Cafe had. He was actually just expecting things that you would see in a stereotypical cafe, but they even had pastas listed on the menu. It took Jason a couple of minutes to read through the menu, but once he was finished, he knew exactly what he wanted. Once Jason memorized all he wanted from the menu, he folded it back up, neatly placed it back on the table, and calmly waited for Cecilia to return.

As Jason waited, he calmly stared at the town below. Many people were walking the streets, looking for places to eat, shuffling past each other and walking into various restaurants as they reached their destinations. As Jason watched the people below, he couldn't help but be reminded of his home city. Similarly to the current activity here, the city where Jason lived was just as busy, if not more so. Of course, that was the only real similarity between here and his city. Unlike the Restaurant District, the city Jason grew up in was busy all the time, smelled of exhaust, concrete, and steel, had enormous buildings everywhere, and was actually quite inhospitable. In fact, one of the biggest differences between the Restaurant District and the city where Jason grew up was the fact that the Restaurant District was safe not only during the day, but at night as well. Now that Jason had thought about it, he had not once seen anything that reminded him of his city until now, and to be honest, that was refreshing. At least there was one positive thing about coming to Trinity Soul University.

Just then, Jason heard the footsteps of two people pass near him and stop at the booth across from his. As soon as Jason turned his head away from the town and towards the front of him, he felt a tension in his chest as he realized who one of the people were. Sitting right across from him, right in his line of sight, was the man from before, that man that Jason couldn't help but feel threatened by. In hopes that the man did not see Jason looking at him, Jason quickly turned his gaze away and back to the city, this time scanning the buildings around the block. Jason needed something to make him look inconspicuous, and all he could do at this moment was to pretend that he didn't notice the man.

                                Lake - Trinity Soul University

Just as Tristan had begun to truly relax and free himself from the day's stresses, he heard a loud splash 20 feet away from him. At that very moment, Tristan's eyes shot open, and he quickly sat up, surprised and a little curious about what had caused the splash. That was when Tristan saw one of the strangest sights he had ever seen. Lying on the shore of the lake was a poorly dressed unconscious woman. Her clothes were completely destroyed, and the only thing on her person that wasn't ruined was her armor and her sword.

Tristan stared at the woman in confusion as he rose to his feet and debated on whether or not he should walk over to her. He had no idea who she was, or how she even got here. For all he knew, she could be hostile. Then again, he couldn't just leave her there. He may have been a Dullahan/Rokurokubi, but even he had some humanity. It was settled. Despite his slight apprehension, Tristan walked over to the woman and looked down at her. Now that Tristan could clearly see the woman in the moonlight, he was actually surprised to see that she was relatively young, probably no older than he was. If Tristan didn't know better, he would even dare say that she might have been a student at this school. Of course, there was no point in simply guessing her origins. He would have to wake her up. After Tristan grabbed the woman's armored hand, he slowly dragged her out of the water and onto dry land. After that, Tristan knelt down and tried to wake the woman up.

"Hey. Are you alright?", Tristan asked the woman as he lightly shook her shoulder, hoping to wake the woman up.
