Training Grounds | TSU
If it wasn't for the smell of freshly spilled blood in the air, Sarah would have been completely oblivious to the plights of others around her. But, be that what it may, the vampire had noticed fresh blood from a few wounds and scrapes and looked over to a small gathering of students off in the distance. It looked like someone, a girl of sorts, had gotten injured while training. With the blood in the air it seemed that she wasn't in the best condition and needed to go to the infirmary. Thank goodness someone other than me helped her out, Sarah thought with a sad frown.
Yet, as quickly as the frown appeared did it vanish in place of a thoughtful expression. The vampire looked to her glowing orb of darkness then to her long spellcasting gloves for some time in contemplation. She remembered saying something to one of her roommates about how she wanted to prove that dark magic could be beneficial to others other than herself. Helping others blend into the shadows was one thing, but trying to use dark magic to close wounds and staunch bleeding? Why, that could just be something Sarah could do to help her case. She remembered a time when she cut herself playing in the courtyard of her family's castle and how she fixed herself up with a few gentle pats and dark energy, but could she recreate that on a much larger scale, and on other people?
Sarah was wrapped in uncertainty about all of this. It was just the second day for her in this university and there were bound to be others who wanted to help out. The vampire scoffed and shook her head to free herself of her negative thoughts. Who the hell was she to put herself down twice in one day? She pumped her fists and made a mental note to return to the infirmary as soon as possible so she could see the nurse. Vampire or not, Sarah had ambitions and a desire to help others. She wasn't going to let doubt bring her down.
"I know I can do some good if I put me mind to it," Sarah affirmed. She placed her hands on her orb of darkness and went to work on refining it down to a more manageable size. "By Harkon's fangs, I'll prove it!"
