If it wasn't for the smell of freshly spilled blood in the air, Sarah would have been completely oblivious to the plights of others around her. But, be that what it may, the vampire had noticed fresh blood from a few wounds and scrapes and looked over to a small gathering of students off in the distance. It looked like someone, a girl of sorts, had gotten injured while training. With the blood in the air it seemed that she wasn't in the best condition and needed to go to the infirmary. Thank goodness someone other than me helped her out, Sarah thought with a sad frown.

Yet, as quickly as the frown appeared did it vanish in place of a thoughtful expression. The vampire looked to her glowing orb of darkness then to her long spellcasting gloves for some time in contemplation. She remembered saying something to one of her roommates about how she wanted to prove that dark magic could be beneficial to others other than herself. Helping others blend into the shadows was one thing, but trying to use dark magic to close wounds and staunch bleeding? Why, that could just be something Sarah could do to help her case. She remembered a time when she cut herself playing in the courtyard of her family's castle and how she fixed herself up with a few gentle pats and dark energy, but could she recreate that on a much larger scale, and on other people?

Sarah was wrapped in uncertainty about all of this. It was just the second day for her in this university and there were bound to be others who wanted to help out. The vampire scoffed and shook her head to free herself of her negative thoughts. Who the hell was she to put herself down twice in one day? She pumped her fists and made a mental note to return to the infirmary as soon as possible so she could see the nurse. Vampire or not, Sarah had ambitions and a desire to help others. She wasn't going to let doubt bring her down.

"I know I can do some good if I put me mind to it," Sarah affirmed. She placed her hands on her orb of darkness and went to work on refining it down to a more manageable size. "By Harkon's fangs, I'll prove it!"

In an instant, Rii produced a laser from his hand, then hung on to it. From there, he fired one bullet for each of the group of boys. Most of the boys were instantly knocked to the ground, but one of them easily reflected the bullet back to Rii. On purpose, he got hit, but instead he absorbed the shot, then sent several homing bullets at the boy.
"Is that all you've got!?" yelled the boy. Again, he deflected the bullets, one by one. Rii held his hand out while a bullet levitated on it, and all the shots were absorbed into the one bullet. The bullet in his hand became as large, and then it was fired straight for the boy. "Idiot! I can reflect anything!" bragged the boy. A few of the people from the crowd cheered for him.
He fell for it, Rii thought. This was all according to the plan. The boy was apparently about to perform some kind of special technique with his arms. Rii overheard the crowd saying,
      "Ooh, he's in for it!"
      "I-I can't watch!"
"He's going down to the ground!" Instantly, Rii moved away 2 meters from his original position, as he suspects that a huge laser is going to strike his bullet. He heard the male muttering an incantation.

A giant magic circle appeared, and then it started to flash. Blinding light appeared, making nearly everyone look away.

Rii knew that he had to quickly formulate a plan.

Shopping District - Trinity Soul University

Staring at Kris' movements and actions, Trista noticed Kris guiding her along the outer edges of the Shopping District. In Trista's mind, while appreciating Kris' concern for her, Trista wished that people wouldn't go to such extents to help her out. Even if she was scared still of people, Trista was still willing to make her way to the library. It only served to make Trista ask the question: Why should she be given special treatment? Isn't Trista like everyone else? Deep down, Trista began to feel guilty. Just yesterday, Trista braved walking through the Shopping District. And while it did have poor results, Trista still did it nonetheless. She felt that she was receiving treatment that wasn't necessary. That she was merely putting Kris through extra work for a thing that didn't completely matter. But while Trista began to question Kris' actions, she was not aware of the events unfolding in the heart of the Shopping District.

During Kris' and Trista's walk, Kris realised that she was carrying something with her. An apple. Shortly after pulling the apple out, Kris forced the apple in two and offered a half to Trista. Although Trista could have commented on Kris' ability to crack a apple in two, she merely nodded and reached out one of her hands to take the apple half. But as Trista attempted reach for the apple half, a bright flash of light appeared from within the centre of the Shopping District.

Magic! But as to whether the magic was being used for show or battle was unknown.

Without saying a thing to Kris, Trista promptly let go of Kris' arm and began to run into the centre of the Shopping District. Even if Trista didn't know the reason behind it, even if Trista was supposed to be with Kris, she had to see. If it was a performance, Trista wanted to watch. But if it was a battle... Trista didn't want to know. People could be hurt. A stir of anger and violence in the heart of commerce and shopping. As she ran to the source of the light, Trista hoped that a battle wasn't taking place. To Trista, that would be the worst thing possible.
Smash through the blocks that bar your way; No time for fear, just let it all fall away; Nobody believes in me and you, Just look at the way they stare; So what if we live in a walled garden, As long as I've got you then I don't care!

Kris was hearing the small battle between the male students and sighed (Those boys are getting worse in that fight, they will hurt each other if they cuontinue") she thought and was glad that she and Trista were at the edge, but started getting worried of the people close to the fighters.

Until she was suddenly being released making the wolf lose her stability for a second as Trista ran towards the source of the fight, quickly alerted, the redhead ran towards her friend "Trista wait! they are fighting!" she said out loud hoping that the lunar magician would at least stop in the still safety area. Her hands were already charging with ice and snow in case of having to defend herself.

Her ears perked at the speeches of the people, the battle would be at its climax and for what she heard, one of the boys was prepared for a powerful spell, that added with anger was going to be dangerous, so Kris used a table to jump higher of everyone to reach the edge of the battle circle "EVERYONE GET BACK!" she growled as she released her magic, a wall of ice formed around the two fighters similar to the one used to stop Zekai, Ryofu and the other girl of yesterday, it would at least protect the people around the fighters.

Andrew while waiting for Lynne to respond began to... look at Lynne. For a moment it felt like he forgot his fear as he stared at her... that was until the sound of magic being used in the center of the Shopping District could be heard going on broke the silence. "I-I'm sorry, but can you wait here for a moment? I need to go see what's going on!" Andrew replied as him and a crowd of students began to rush towards and some even began to run away from the fight that was going on in the District. Andrew was one of the many that was trying to get to the fight to see what was going on. Once there though he saw some boys being separated by a wall of ice that was formed by Kris. Andrew looked on in shock that a fight like this had broken out.

Meanwhile on the roof of one of the stores the Wind magic teacher Master Hama with his long white hair held up in a clean ponytail, and his purple and green Gi happened to be in the district was watching the fight from up above. He was watching how the the young man was holding his own against the other boys, but was also keeping an eye out for the one who had made the wall of Ice Magic. "If this fight escalates any further I'm afraid I'm going to have to step in early... Let us hope that this fight does not reach that point." Master Hama said as he continued to watch the events transpiring from above.

Ahe motioned towards the unconscious thug.

"He was caught harassing a young woman, but was dealt with by... Two young heroic boys along with the woman. I talked to the woman and she told me the story. Apparently, she ended up wounding the boy pretty badly given the circumstances he deserved it so I brought him here. Would you mind tending to his injuries while I file the referral?"

Quickly, Rii fired a flurry of bullets to neutralize the magic, but nothing was happening. Crap, on to plan B, he thought. Quickly, from his foot, he fired a bullet aimed straight for the male's back, but he made it so he couldn't notice it. The bullet swoop down above the floor, whizzing past an ice wall, a wolf person, a pale blond girl, and the shy boy from earlier, Afterwards, the male started finishing the incantation,
                "...LUCIS SCINTILLIA- ACK!"
The bullet hit. Quickly, the giant magic circle disappeared, and the male kneeled on the ground with one knee, while muttering, "You idiot..." before he fell down, like the five. Quickly, confused voices were heard from the crowd as Rii jumped to the floor.
                "How did he even..!?"
"No! Nobody ever survives that spell!"
                "Who is this guy!?"
After a second, a random dude started clapping.
                "He took him down!"
Right after he started clapping, the crowd nearest to Rii started cheering and clapping, but Rii modestly walked away, picked up his bag from the grocery store, and walked away while looking at the crowd... Until he bumped into an ice wall.

Kris panted at the exert of magic she used, the visible cold air appeared each time she breathed, but her body was alerted as she looked at both the bullet shooting boy and the downed one. Her ice wall was strong as she got up from her kneeling position, a stalagmite rose from where her right hand was to help her get on her feet "Now I advice you to stop this unnecessary fight, there are already enough injured people" she spoke calmly but with a serious tone.

The wolf´s senses found that the downed guy was only unconscious so it was ok, the other one was too calm for something like this so he could be dangerous, she also felt someone looking at her and the boys. The redhead eyed the white haired man to let him know she found him, then she looked at the bullet shooter who, while acting like not caring about people hit one of her ice walls

Kris looked around to see that everyone stopped and was glad that the fight was finally over, but then she noticed Trista was kneeling and terrified. A pang of guilt crossed the wolf´s soul as she closed her eyes and walked to the middle of the fight circle, walls of ice evaporating and disappearing.

"..." Lynne observed Andrew running towards the fight. A fight, at this time? It's only been second day of the school year, and there are already conflicts around the school. Not that Lynne really cared though. Even if Lynne made the loudest ruckus ever, the students and the teachers wouldn't even notice them. Still it was quite interesting for Lynne, so she followed Andrew to see how this fight in the shopping district was going.

As Trista rushed further and further into the gathering crowd, Trista began to notice the cheers and cries of the people around her. And in the heart of it, two boys. One in the air descending from the sky to the ground below while the other looked like he was about to unleash a spell with the circle formed on the ground. Listening to the yells and hearing what was being said, Trista realised what was actually going on.

The magic was not a show! It was a battle!

Trista began to get scared. Very scared. Why did Trista leave Kris to see this magic? Why did she foolishly run off? In seeing the transpiring conflict, Trista did not know what to think at all. Should she run away? Find Kris? Aid one of the combatants? Trista did not know. She didn't know what to do at all. Trista merely closed her eyes and screamed in terror as the battle ensued. Her knees bent, her legs descended to the floor, and her arms raised to protect herself. In the moment of fear and shock, Trista tried her hardest to blot out the noises. The yells, the magic, anything that made Trista even more scared. Right now, Trista wished it all away. She did not want people to get hurt and she didn't want any trouble.

After a minute of conflict, Trista's hearing returned to her and she heard... applause? Applause over one of the combatants winning. But... no additional violence? No aftermath? Trista gradually opened her eyes and gazed upon what had happened. Standing on a nearby table was a defensive Kris and in front was a wall of ice. One that covered numerous parts of the battleground. But where were the two boys? The ones that fought each other? As Trista looked closer, she saw a group of downed men with marks of an explosion and the boy who descended from the sky standing up. It was obvious to Trista as to who emerged victorious. But as to how? Trista had no idea.

After taking his moment of glory, the boy began to casually walk away from the scene and return to his activities before -clunk! The boy hit himself against the ice wall and fell to the hard pavement below.* Someone was hurt. And right now, that person was the boy at that ice wall. Almost instinctively, Trista rushed over to the boy to see if he was alright. With little to no awareness of what was going on around her. Right now, this boy needed some help. And Trista was going to give it to him.

*(RP Note: Yes, I know this is indirect control of another person's character. But Akane is implying that Rii does have something happen to him on hitting the wall. "Walked away until he hits the wall." That is implying that he did stop walking for one reason or another. I'm merely interpreting it as hitting the wall and falling on the ground.
Please don't form a lynch mob over this.)

(EDIT: Damn it, Kris. You got to it before me! Argh!)

Training Grounds, en route to The Infirmary | TSU

It took some time, but eventually Sarah managed to scale her orb of darkness down into a mere marble. To onlookers, such a feat was as unique as watching an old man take a sponge bath in public: it wasn't much to look at. However, to Sarah this meant that her powers of manipulating darkness were growing, albeit in a slow manner. But slow and steady as she goes for progress was progress, no matter how long it took. In time the young vampire could look forward to using the orb of darkness as a means of defending herself or as a means to assist others, however farfetched the idea was. Just what could the eerie orb do to others when Sarah had no idea what it could do to help her?

This was a question for another time, Sarah realized. She clenched the orb of darkness in her hand until it shattered. Small particles of energy flittered out from between the vampire's fingers and ripped up her arm to remove the black spellcasting gloves before seeping back into her skin. Huffing and puffing from the magical exertion, the vampire took a minute to catch her breath when she noticed that there were a lot less people in the training grounds than there were the last time she looked. A glance towards a retreating group revealed that there was some kind of commotion over in the shopping district, but Sarah had no idea what it could be. She had half a mind to investigate, but with all the people there taking up the good shade she figured it would be better to just head to the infirmary and get her gossip or news there.

So, without further adieu Sarah picked herself up with her staff and re-entered the university's buildings as she made a beeline towards the infirmary.

Rii slipped and fell down just as he crashed at the ice wall. "WUH!" Rii yelled as he slipped. Rii was knocked out for several seconds as he face planted straight on the ground. After being knocked out, his senses slowly started going back to him. Euh... Rii thought, How long was I out... For a small while, he pondered about it. But as he subconsciously looked to the right, he saw a blond girl with quite pale skin. The same feeling Rii had when he was with Lynne was back again, only a bit weaker. Why does this happen, Rii thought, especially to a person like me...

Pushing through the now dispersing crowd in the Shopping District, Trista was able to find herself standing near the boy. While Trista was deeply scared as to what both the crowd and the boy would think of her, Trista had the impulse to assist him. Even if Trista didn't know why or even the implications of doing such a thing. Upon closer inspection of the boy, she saw a moderately sized boy with pale skin, black hair, and matching carbon-black eyes. Colours that could have suggested to someone that this boy was not up to much good. But whether or not, the fight was his fault was unknown to Trista.

As the boy stirred and regained his awareness, he turned his head to his right. Directly at Trista. Upon seeing the boy stare at her, Trista instinctively averted her gaze and tried her best not to get scared. She didn't know the person. But the least Trista could was try to help. With a very timid and nervous voice, Trista attempted to speak out to the boy.
"Are... A-Are you...? Are you... ok? Are you h-hurt?" Trista asked while trying her hardest to look over the boy's downed body without getting afraid or embarrassed.

After Kris had left the elevator, it seemed that all hell had been let loose. People were running left and right, and Kathryn didn't know what to do. She did know however that it would be smart to keep on the sidelines as if she didn't there was quite the risk of being run down, and for Kathryn, that was not something she really enjoyed, especially because of her wheelchair. After all of the people had finally gone away, Kathryn went out of the dorms just as she had planned. Now the big question rested on her. She had been planning to see and explore large areas of the school today, but where should she go first? The two locations that she wanted to see the most were the two districts. Both had interesting things that she wanted to explore, and she certantly was going to check them both out, but where would she start. Wasn't that always a big problem no matter what context you asked it? Where to start?

After some more thinking, Kathryn decided to go to the shopping district, not because that seemed more interesting, but because if she did, she would most likely explore the Restaurant district at the same time as she would find something to eat, effectively killing to birds with one stone. That was she also got to test that gift card that she had gotten yesterday.

After Kathryn had been walking the shopping district for a bit, she saw that there was a large amount of people gathered at a place. At first she assumed that it was just some cool show or something. As she got closer tough, she saw that it wasn't anything fun or interesting that way, but instead a battle. She didn't really recognize the people fighting, even tough she had a feeling she had seen one of them before. Even tough she wasn't too happy about the fighting, she did want to get closer, but decided to to because it seemed people were pushing quite a bit, and if she were to get that close, her wheelchair might tip over. Thus she decided to stay at the outher ring until the battle stopped.

On way towards Infirmary - Trinity Soul University

After Sinuda created the blood fence to stop the followers of that boy, he just seemed to disappear completely. Although she didn't know exactly why, she wanted to know more about this boy. Why was he attacked, why was he in the female dormitory, how did he disappear, and so on. After looking for a bit without any luck tough, she decided to give up. Maybe she would run into him some other time. Instead she decided to pay a visit to the infirmary. She still wanted to know what had happened to that girl she and that other guy had found last night.

There didn't seem to be many students wandering the halls at this time in the morning. Most likely they were all out getting coffee or having breakfast. Sarah envied them the chance to head out for breakfast and chat over a nice cup of coffee. Eating and drinking normal human food was not necessary for a vampire such as Sarah, though she enjoyed tasting food that looked appealing. No, what she envied the most out of breakfast was the simple conversations, the mindless smalltalk and most importantly the company of good friends. Back at the castle in Ullapool, the only thing that came close to this was when the other vampires gathered for a meeting and sampled 'spiced blood'. That was very entertaining and socially filling, actually...

Sarah shook her head and smiled despite the thoughts. She didn't have to eat, but that didn't have to stop her from getting a nice cup of coffee every now and then. Perhaps a trip to the shopping district was in order when the vampire's business was concluded.

It didn't take too long before the Scotswoman found herself outside the infirmary. She took a step back and examined the signs to make sure this was the place before reaching for the doorhandle. There was no hesitation when she turned it and stepped inside. As she proclaimed earlier in the training grounds, she aspired to do some good instead of fiddling about in a dark, melancholy state of mind. She knew that when she put her mind to it she could reach out and brighten others' days as well as cheer them up, but when it came to tending to physical problems, she was at a loss. Her inborn skill with dark magic could be put to use here... Somehow...

"Hello?" Sarah called out as she took a stand in the waiting room. The infirmary smelled strange, like alcohol and other chemicals. "Anybody 'ere?"
