    Infirmary - Trinity Soul University - ((@SUSTIC))

Nurse Hannah didn't give a definite answer to Sarah's question, but it still hit the mark and filled the vampire with some much-needed hope. The nurse may be short-staffed in the future, and she did say that she would consider Sarah's help. That was good enough for her! Sarah was a little sad that the nurse's assistant was rumored to be leaving the university, but perhaps she was moving on to greener pastures or seeking a change in degrees. Whatever it was, it provided Sarah with a good opportunity to do some good!

Sarah pumped her fists in victory and beamed despite not getting the answer she hoped for. Her foot was in the door now, she believed. Now the only thing on her mind was... Well, after explaining her desire to Nurse Hannah, what else was there to do today? Surely there was some kind of class schedule for her to pick up, perhaps a list of school supplies that she needed to get. However, she hadn't received a letter to her dorm room this morning, so perhaps the university was going to let each student know their schedule at a later time.

There was always more training to do, but Sarah figured she had enough for one morning. A cup of coffee would be nice, perhaps enjoyed with a nice book at the library... There, it was settled. Sarah waved back to Nurse Hannah before she disappeared into the OR and then made her way out of the infirmary. With her staff at her back and uplifted spirits, Sarah Hunnigan began to make her way to the shopping district where the library and coffeeshop would be.

      Office Buiilding Hallway

After Mira dropped off the kid she left the room.

"Alright Allen," she said to him. "I'm going to file some paperwork as well as the referal, so you're gonna have to go off. Now don't get yourself into more trouble, okay? I can't be covering you like this all the time, otherwise you'll be the next one in my room."

"You got it, Mira!" Allen said, having fully woken up. He walked out of the office building to the training grounds.

      Outside Cafeteria

Grezcht has had his fill of food. Using the great mass of money he compiled doing his 'dirty work,' he ate breakfast like a king. And he calls that his everyday quick meal. He licked his lips in satisfaction. He decided to go to the training grounds to freshen his skills.

As soon as Kris began to walk, Trista hesitantly began to follow her. Following the series of events that had taken place, Trista could not afford to leave herself behind or lose Kris. After all, what if the other combatants returned and challenged Trista? It would only make sense since Trista had now officially associated herself with Rii. And to be associated with the former opponent only meant that Trista was a prime target along with Kris. Or so Trista thought. She truly did not know as to how social convention went in the magical world. Was it fine to battle those who assisted a former enemy or was that considered unconventional and mildly frowned upon? For Trista, she merely assumed the worst and opted for the former.

Keeping her pace with Kris', Trista attempted to revive some manner of a conversation as the duo took their steps to the library.
"Kris?" Trista asked. "Have you... have you ever...? Have you ever been in a... battle?"

Th question took the wolf unprepared as memories of her childhood crossed her mind, it took some seconds as she took some breaths and answered "Yes I have been on battles, but not so calm as the one over there" she gestured to the now calmed down place where Rii and the others fought.

"You are thinking that maybe those students might attack you isn´t it?" she asked knowing the possible idea that the blonde had "They would only attack if there was a big reason for it, like with Rii, he got into thee female dorms and caused ruckus of both the female and male students. If those guys come back with a bad or unnecessary reason, they would be doing a mistake" her last words were more like a threat, she couldn´t help about it, because of how she felt when someone was being bullied and there was a moment where she looked troubled

Looks like here is the library" the redhead spoke as they reached the library´s entrance

            Training Grounds

Allen had made it to the training grounds first as it was closer to his location. He found a training dummy and decided to take it for a spin. He cracked his neck and walked up to it. He then began fighting the dummy. His fighting style was very alike to Mira's. Strong, but sloppy, as if taught on the streets. He keptmon punching and kicking until...

"Allen, my boy!" Cried Grezcht. He walked up to Allen. "How's it going?"

            "Oh hey Gre- erm, Jack-"

"Oh please... Call me Grezcht. After all, I had nothing to do with Irazaki town, did I?"

"Oh... Well I guess that makes sense." He said while he was still fighting. Grezcht watched on.

"... I see you picked up on Mira's messy street fighting."

            "Well, that's all I know."

"Say... How's bout I teach you my fighting style?"

Allen stopped and looked at grezcht curiously. "Really? What is it?"

            "Let me demonstrate," said Grezcht.

Suddenly, he took a training staff and began attacking with a kind of skill that would overpower the opponent. But what was strange was that he focused the attacks on one end of the staff. After he finished the demonstration, Allen clapped in amusement.

"That was cool, Grezcht! I don't think I could ever do that."

"That's a real shame, Allen. But oh well. I'm actually interested in your street fighting. I may need the information."

Allen's face lit up at the thought of teaching Grezcht, who was practically the king of ghouls, a new fighting style.

"Okay! I'll teach you the way Mira taught me!"

And the two went out to the field to train.

Sarah, when she left the infirmary on her way down the hallway, couldn't help but overhear the conversation between that one blue-eyed woman and the younger boy behind her. The same woman had brought in that boy and gave a small greeting to Sarah, and while she seemed as ordinary as any other student here at the university, it still felt good to be acknowledged and greeted. Stuffing her hands into her pockets, the vampire glanced out the windows as she made her way down the halls to the shopping district. It seemed that she wasn't alone in wanting to spend some of her morning training, as there looked to be quite a few students training out in the fields today. Just seeing some of the magic that people were capable of made Sarah excited for the future.

There were whispers in the hallway. Sarah couldn't make out most of them, but what she could make out made her think. Apparently there was a coffeeshop under the name of a cafe, a raccoon had gotten into someone's dorm and made a mess, and there was some kind of fight in the shopping district. Sarah concerned herself the most with the first and third tidbit of information. She felt invigorated to find that shop, but she also felt wary of the shopping district after hearing there was a fight. But then she remembered where she came from, Scotland, and figured rumors of a fight meant as much as the hair on a dog's arse.

After some minutes of wandering about, Sarah found some doors and came out into the shopping district. Lacking a sense of direction, the vampire clung to the shadows and looked to her map for a moment before finding and ducking into a modern-looking brick building. The building had a neon sign of a cup of joe on the side and provided students with outside seating, specialty breakfast and danishes, and of course, caffeine! Plus with all the longue chairs and pleasant music, Sarah figured she could stay here and relax after a long day of classes, should she ever feel exhausted.

When the vampire had her fill of sightseeing, she stepped up to the barista counter to place her order.

Trista was slightly unsettled by the fact that Kris too had participated in battles. While Trista was sure that Kris would not use her powers against Trista, it was still scary to think about the possibility nonetheless. The fact that Kris already had some sizeable power despite her tendency to get exhausted only made Trista more wary. Ice walls, freezing solid objects. What next? Summon a blizzard? Throwing icicles? Kris' ice powers could be used for more gentle things like creating snow but it was obvious to Trista that ice magic was a two-sided coin. It could be gentle and beautiful or brutal and deadly.

Trista gave a small whine of upset as she agreed to Kris' question and pondered over the situation. It was undeniable that Trista was thinking about the possibility of assault or what the other students could do. And while the battle did come about due to an incident such as Rii's, Trista could help but feel that it was highly unreasonable. Why did they even need to fight? Rii did nothing wrong and was simply lost. Trista could understand that girls needed their privacy, some more than others, but it did not warrant a battle.
"I just... I-I just think that the battle was... un... uncalled for." Trista explained. "It... It didn't need to... It did need to happen and yet... it did. Rii did nothing wrong and... he was attacked for it. If people could fight over something as simple as... as a boy getting lost then... then... what about... me?" Trista asked in a very cautious tone as the two girls walked into the entrance of the library. The place which the two girls were supposed to walk in with a good and more positive atmosphere and yet Trista's anxiety did not subside.

"It indeed was uncalled for, and like I told you, people can make that mistake again and surely be expelled" Kris spoke being realist about the subject.

"That is how magic works, it is an extension or tool to use our energy, it can be used wrongly to cause pain" the redhead explained forming an ice spiked knuckle "But it can also be used to make something good" she said transforming the knuckle into a series of rings and bracelet.

"The main things depends on how you see it, magic itself is pure, how it is used depends on the person itself" The wolf spoke now forming a clear sphere of ice and handed it to Trista

At first, Ryofu was so focused on reading that she didn't notice that Kris came in. Ryofu looked behind her and saw Kris with a small girl. She closed the book and walked over and noticed the ice knuckle. "Kris-nee............ library....... no magic." She said to Kris. She then looks down to the small girl. She kneels down and stares at her for a few seconds then at Kris and back to the girl a few times. "Kris-nee.............. child?" Ryofu bluntly asks pointing with her right index finger while looking at Kris.
"No matter how strong or what power the enemy has, I will fight and protect my friends, even if it cost me my life to protect them. I will fight until I die to ensure their future."

There were so many different flavors to choose from, Sarah couldn't just pick one without some warning beforehand! How was it that coffee could be spiced up with so many tiny touches? Peppermint, chocolate, mocha, vanilla, even cinnamon were good choices, and already Sarah felt distressed. Hell, even the ice-cream-looking coffee, some kind of drink that ended in '-chino', looked lovely. In her fretful state, she hardly noticed the few people tapping their feet behind her as she mulled about at the counter.

"Ma'am? Your order?" came the voice of the barista.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I dinnae mean to hold you up," Sarah whined. She pointed to the average cup of coffee and made her choice. "I'll just have me a medium coffee."

Sarah heard the sighs of relief behind her and couldn't help but breathe one of her own with a smile. She fumbled in her pockets for some money and paid off the barista before snagging her coffee. There would be no fixings for the coffee, at least not here where everyone could see the vampire. After making sure her staff was properly readjusted on her back and her pack was still on her shoulder, Sarah thanked the barista and made her way outside. If she had just wanted to drink coffee, she would have stayed in the cafe, but she had other things on her mind.

Playing Dance Dance Revolution and looking for Highland Fling wasn't one of those things, mind you.

After sneezing from the brightness of the morning sun and hissing softly at how it felt on her skin, Sarah soldiered herself for the short trek across the tarmac to the library. Until she either made a lot of friends to hang out with or got a part-time job, Sarah figured she would be spending most of her time here at the library. As a vampire she did not feel the need to sleep as much as ordinary humans, so to keep herself busy when the sun was high in the sky, she aspired to spend her time studying or doing something productive like drawing or reading. That, or taking a bunch of naps never hurt.

Sarah sniffed her hot cup of coffee and beamed at how rich and strong it smelled. With just the right accent, it would taste better than it could ever do by itself alone. And then there was the matter of drinking it in a nice, comfortable place. Already Sarah had gotten a knack for her family's best trait: the art of refined drinking. Who cares if you're drinking coffee or hard whiskey as long as you're doing it in a comfortable place amongst friends? As such, the most comfortable place at this moment was the library!

The vampire walked through the main entrance and looked around for a place to sit. Perhaps a desk or a lounge chair was available. It seemed that the library was deserted at this time of the morning, except for a few people who Sarah was unfamiliar with. She had to do a double-take when she finally noticed them. One of them had canine ears in their fine red hair along with a beautiful set of exotic clothing on while the other had vibrant violet hair and a very... unique yet alluring sense of fashion. And who would be in the middle of these two strange people but that shy little shelia, Trista. It looked like she was getting along well enough with other people since the last time Sarah saw her in the library.

Not wanting to intrude, Sarah chose not to speak up and interrupt any of them. She did, however, choose to approach them and listen in on their conversation as she nursed her coffee.

Trista gave Kris her attention as the wolf formed ice on her hands. While initially being concerned by Kris' decision to make a spiked ice knuckle, her concerns subsided as the knucks transformed into ice jewellery. Trista was somewhat amazed by Kris' magical craftsmanship. The ability to simply craft into a collection of rings and bracelets on her hands with little trouble. Seeing someone craft items using magic served to give Trista another perspective on magic. Labour. Trista had seen it before in the ramen restaurant but to see more than simple telekinetic serving was quite astounding to Trista. But the crafting reinforced the one idea that Trista had implanted in her mind. She could not do anything like that. Her magic was next to useless compared to that of Kris' or anyone else. And that made Trista less confident in her own abilities and talents.

"I... I see..." Trista explained. "I-I really wish to find a way to... to do good deeds with my magic. I want to help. I don't want to hurt people. I... I wouldn't. I don't want-" Trista explained before she heard another voice speak up. A slow and rather empty one. Upon hearing this anonymous voice, Trista yelped in shock, immediately got behind Kris' back, and attempted to hide herself albeit badly.

"Kr-Kris?" Trista spoke up to the young wolf as she continued to hide her small figure from the other person. While it was not much, Trista hoped that Kris would get the sign that she was afraid or was at least troubled.

While hiding herself and shying away from this new person, Trista noticed in the corner of her eye a familiar face. Red hair, red eyes, pale skin. Trista immediately recognised her and lit up as she did. Sarah! Just like yesterday, Sarah was here. Inside, Trista felt slightly more reassured and happy. If anything, it could even mean introducing both Sarah and Kris to each other. After all, both of them knew about Trista's powers. There was no shame to be had in letting the two girls get to know one another and mingle alongside Trista. Trista decided to give a light wave to Sarah as a way of greeting the vampire.

The redhead nodded at the blonde´s idea of her magic "I´m sure you will do great things with your abilities, just keep looking at the bright future" she smiled and then heard Ryofu´s voice

Oh hi there Ryofu, sorry for the magic" she both greeted and apologized to the ultima magician erasing her ice jewelry, but the sphere in Trista`s hands was still there.

The wolf noticed that Trista hid behind her because of Ryofu who even asked if the blonde was her child, "Oh N-no she isn`t my child, Ryofu, this is Trista, a friend of mine"" she managed to correct from the sudden question and looked at the lunar magician "Trista, this is Ryofu, she is also a friend of mine and we share a dorm room" she made the greetings for both girls.

Trista briefly peered her head around Kris in an attempt to get a view of this Ryofu. A somewhat small figure yet still larger than Trista. Short, rose-violet coloured hair and similarly coloured eyes. All while wearing an unusual and foreign set of clothing. Looking upon Ryofu's face, Trista saw little to no emotion on it. No anger, joy, fear, or sadness. Trista didn't know what to think of this Ryofu girl. All Trista really could do was hope that she was neither a threat nor a nuisance.

In listening to Kris' explanations and discussion, Trista felt highly embarrassed that Ryofu assumed that she was Kris' child. While Trista was small in her figure, she was certainly not at a height or build to be considered that of a child. And besides, Trista wasn't even a wolf. She did not have a tail. She did not have fur. Nor did she have large wolf ears. Unless Trista managed to be pass as a younger human cousin of Kris', there was little doubt that Trista could be assumed to be Kris' child.
"H-Hello..." Trista quietly spoke out from behind Kris.

Whoever these two new faces were, Sarah couldn't help but find them interesting. It wasn't every day where you stumbled across a foxy lady and a girl with vibrant purple hair. Thanks to the wolfish woman's introductions, Sarah was able to figure out who they were. Kris and Ryofu, the latter more exotic than the former. Whereas Kris seemed motherly and upbeat, Ryofu could not be read in the slightest. She was like a book without a title with that expressionless face of hers. It was actually quite unnerving to look at! But Sarah did not want to be deterred from making two new acquaintances.

At the moment Ryofu asked about Trist, Sarah decided to speak up. She had hoped that Trista wouldn't have had ducked out of sight at the first sign of someone new, but you couldn't kill a bad habit in just one day. Nevertheless, if there was a silver lining in that raincloud, it was that Trista hid behind that red-haired foxy lady. Whoever this 'Kris' was, she was someone who Trista trusted and befriended. That... That was the silver lining. Progress was being made on Trista's end, albeit slowly.

"Ah, dinnae worry about her," Sarah chirped with a tilt of her head. "She's a shy one, she is."
