Mt. Chimney - ((@Wriggle))
Whether it was because of the strength of the water-type attack or the inherent nature of most feline pokemon, the Purloin did not like the water at her feet at all. She hissed and ducked away from the blasts of water and only managed to get her paws wet from the attack. It wouldn't slow her down, but it did discomfort the cat. She flicked her paws one at a time and growled at the Spheal before the voice of Juri cut through the air.
"Stow your pride until the fight's over! The Spheal's playing the distance game; get up there and throttle 'em!"
While Ripley could not 'throttle' a chubby round pokemon with her bare paws, she could at least make it falter. The Purloin leapt for the few patches of heated ground left untouched and launched between them to get to the Spheal. When she was close she would smack her tail into the side of the Spheal's face; a move that wouldn't do any damage yet would probably startle the pokemon. A tail whip!
