Name: Thomas Scott

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Occupation: Thomas lives in Moroz Drakon as a gun engineer.

Appearance:

Skill: Thomas is able to create various types of guns, including pistols, revolvers, shotguns, and rifles. He is able to think up of new ideas for guns, but he needs a lot of materials to experiment, which is the reason why he now lives in Moroz Drakon. He aims to create a gun that never runs out of ammunition, but after many attempts he has failed doing so. He is also avid experience with guns, as he often goes out to hunt. Out of all the weapons, he prefers dual-wielding a pistol and a magnum for fighting, as he does not prefer stealth style combat. Because of this, he often scares away the deer, but manages to take them down after a long day of chasing.

Bio: Thomas lived in Wakehold with his family in his younger years. Both of his parents were pacifists and they did not approve of weapons, violence, or even discipline. Fortunately, Thomas was very well mannered, until he found out about guns at the age of 14. He started to grow an interest to pistols, but he kept it a secret from his family. For 2 years, his interest in guns grew stronger and stronger. However, his parents eventually found out, and for the first time, breaking their pacifism, they horribly punished Thomas with very loud yelling and even with a belt. Experiencing this, Thomas secretly ran away in the midst of night.

While he ran away, he came across a gun engineer, and started to know him well. Thomas quickly learned how to make pistols and revolvers. He wanted to develop more kinds of guns, but the engineer eventually ran out of materials and had to restock. The engineer told Thomas to go to Moroz Drakon to look for materials. Thomas followed the request and set off for Moroz Drakon to look for materials.

When he was in Moroz Drakon, he was surprised at the abundance of resources, and decided to stay there. He sent a letter to the engineer, telling him to go to Moroz Drakon as he considered it his new home. Even though the engineer never came, Thomas didn't mind and kept experimenting. Eventually, Thomas was able to create a rifle and a shotgun by his own self.

Now at 19 years old, Thomas is developing various modifications for his guns with the resources he has acquired. He is also working on his skill as a gunner, by hunting only with a pistol and a revolver. Today, he is strong with his very precise accuracy and powerful weapons. However, after hearing about Verdelion's treasure, Thomas set a new goal; which is finding the treasure of the dead Captain Verdelion.

Personality: Thomas is a hearty person that has a lot of knowledge with guns. He is quite daring, and would love to try new ways to use his guns. He always laughs along with his friends and never complains when it comes to sharing things. However, he does mind sharing his weapons, as he fears that they could be misused. When it comes to enemies, he becomes serious and does not tolerate failure.

Other: Nothing at all, keep up the work!

Name: Miriah Hartmann

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Occupation: Skylands Air Force Operative

Appearance:
Miriah with her signature gun, the Maverequs
Spoiler
(Surprise! Well, not really... People could have predicted this...)
Skill: Miriah is skilled when it comes to handling guns. While she is a good shot with her signature firearm, the Maverequs, her true skill comes in the fact that Miriah is capable of using and handling almost every gun that has been documented. If there is available knowledge about the gun or its type, Miriah can easily equip it and use it with little to no fault. This means that Miriah is not only capable of switching between weapons on the fly (literally) but it means that Miriah can also figure out a gun's weakness and use that fact against its user. Poor reload mechanism, large recoil, has a tendency to overheat? Miriah will most likely know about it. This does not mean that Miriah can identify the weakness at a glance but rather by simply identifying the gun itself.

Despite this skill of hers, Miriah is incapable of understanding Hextech-based weaponry or customised equipment. If the item in question is not similar to ones already known to her, Miriah will have a tough time understanding the weapon. Furthermore, Miriah has not shown any ability to create weaponry of her own nor repair any of the guns that she may obtain. If any of her weapons are damaged, there is a high chance that it will be replaced or be taken to an engineer for repairs. Not that this is a problem considering the amount of guns that she can acquire on her travels, obtain from the Air Force, or simply purchase from gunsmiths.

Furthermore, Miriah is not very skilled in hand-to-hand combat or melee combat. Miriah relies on her weapons than her fists or any sort of blade. While she can perform a couple of moves, punches, and slashes; Miriah is always at a disadvantage without her tools of execution. Corner Miriah and disarm her and she can be easily taken down.

Bio: Miriah was born and raised in the Skylands city of Wakehold. For most of her childhood, Miriah lived a simple and straightforward childhood playing with what few friends she had or reading books of old. Some of these books contained tales of pirates clashing on the seas and in the skies while others told of mystical tales from far south. While Miriah's mother was a simple housewife, her father was an SAF (Skylands Air Force) Operative. Due to his role, Miriah did not get to see much of her father. The times that he would return, he would tell young Miriah of tales of shooting down pirate ships, exploring new lands, and discovering exotic cultures. This put Miriah in wonder. To be able to see the sight of which she only read in books sounded amazing. Due to this, Miriah looked up to her father and to the Skylands military. She knew that, once she was old enough, Miriah would sign up for the military.

By 14, Miriah then acquired her first gun from her father. A simple little revolver. At the time, Miriah had only heard of what to do with such weaponry but never had she ever handled one. The feeling of her grasping onto the firearm was new and yet somewhat alien. She didn't know what to think. That was until her father took one of his days off to take Miriah to a place to actually try out her revolver. A small little open space in Wakehold's lower areas. While it wasn't a proper firing range or a training ground like the ones that the military possessed, it was good enough. All the Hartmanns needed were a few targets in the form of bottles or trash and quiet place to shoot. Once set up, Miriah attempted her first shot. With her arms straightened out and her body held into position by her father, Miriah then took the shot. The feeling of the recoil moving the gun backwards, the loud bang emitted from the barrel, the adrenaline created in Miriah as her heart raced from the explosion. Something stirred inside Miriah and she didn't know what. Taking a couple more shots, trying to perfect her aim and posture, the feeling inside Miriah began to stir more and more. It was obvious that there was a drive, a sensation, being generated by the gunshots. And Miriah began to like it. In that moment, Miriah knew that she had found her new hobby. Gunplay.

With her new hobby found and a new thing to pursue, Miriah began to acquire whatever books she could find on guns and firearms. Her tales of fiction being replaced with guidebooks and guides to gun-crafting. Not that she minded, her mind was being occupied by her new favourite pastime while her heart still contained her desires to serve her nation and explore the skies. As she turned pages in her new books, fired shot after shot with a variety of weaponry, Miriah found becoming more and more skilled in gunplay. Some even questioning her ability to shoot accurately with a variety of weapons. Once Miriah turned 18, she signed up for the Air Force and never looked back.

Now at the age of 22 with 4 years of hard work put into protecting the Skylands and much more knowledge acquired about military-grade weapons, Miriah is a respected Operative in the field. But despite her job, Miriah desires for more than just simple defense and the occasional task. While the thrill of gunfire was still present, Miriah now seeks finer opponents to gun down and new lands to discover.

Personality: Miriah is a light-hearted individual who knows how to have a good laugh and knows what is morally right and wrong. When she is in a good mood, Miriah likes to relax by reading while enjoying a nice cup of tea. Other times, she likes to check up on her fellow crewmates or even chat to non-Air Force personnel. Due to her occupation and hobbies, Miriah is often seen in weapon stores, workshops, firing ranges, or cafes while off duty. Catch in her a bad mood or find yourself as an enemy to the SAF (the Skylands Air Force) and Miriah can get very serious. Miriah is kind of person who is nice to speak to but will not hesitate to shoot you.

Other:
Miriah's Signature Gun, the Maverequs: Pronounced "Mav-air-i-cus", it is the only gun that Miriah knows how to actually maintain and repair. It is the only permanent feature of Miriah's arsenal of guns. While most guns are quickly replaced or switched out in favour of newer or more advanced weaponry, the Maverequs is the only gun that Miriah has ever kept.
The Maverequs is a custom-made firearm inspired by traditional revolvers while combining a few aspect of other firearms. With a large rotating barrel that can hold six medium-caliber bullets; the Maverequs can be fired rather quickly with little worry. Unlike revolvers, the Maverequs has a built-in striker that allows for it to be fired without the need for pulling back on any hammer prior to firing. The Maverequs is also rather bulky and heavy compared to most conventional firearms meaning that people who are not used to handling bulky firearms will have a tough time aiming. The weight also means that the Maverequs has a lower recoil-velocity compared to lighter medium-caliber weaponry.

Despite being the main part of Miriah's arsenal and her favourite weapon, Miriah has never revealed the Maverequs' origins. People who have encountered her in the past like to assume that either Miriah forged the thing herself or that it was made as a gift for her. One thing's for certain, whoever made the Maverequs was clearly very skilled in gunsmithing.

Little Itty-bitty Notes:
Expect a lot of hearty British dialect, gunplay, and a number of references with this woman. And yes, I did just half-clone Mami Tomoe. I can't have original characters ALL the time.

@TRXD and Amaterasu

Both of them are Accepted

I have added the military ranks for navy and air force of Aetheria world. All nations follow that form. If you plan on having your character be involved with the military, that will be helpful.

@Wriggle
I was intending on giving Miriah an actual military rank. But I tend to think of military ranks (outside of Private and Corporeal) as being given to those with a leader-like role. The ability to lead a group, a team or a ship, a squadron, or even a fleet or an army. But Miriah is not in one of those ranks so I gave her the role of Operative. Despite the spy or SWAT-like name, it was just basically another name for a guy who simply fights. Riflemen, Private-rank Soldiers, Gunners. That's what I'm talking about.

If her present role clashes or doesn't necessarily fit in, I'll give Miriah a proper rank.

For this, I shall use not one, but two characters. (Who are blatantly Touhou characters in design, though of course, the stories are far different.)

Name: Petra Bristou

Age: 24

Gender: Female

Occupation: Petra mainly wanders around, looking for things to do, though she's a decent engineer, and a quite powerful elementalist.

Appearance:

Skill: She's naturally gifted as an elementalist, and has been dabbling with Techmaturgy, and she's very skilled when it comes to prothestics, and artificial organs.

Bio: Petra was born as the daughter of two professors working at the Jefferson University, and thus, was taught very well, and was soon apparent that she was a fast learner, but it was also apparent she had heart problems as well, which lead to her father constructing an artificial heart for her, concealed in what appeared to be a closed eye. It solved her problems, and gave her more energy than most.

Then, she started to realize her own potential at age 9, due to an incident which caused a fire to burst out of nowhere due to her anger. It soon burst into a larger fire, though was quickly controlled, luckily causing little damage. Afterwords, she started to work on harnessing her powers, and possibly combining them with science to enhance them. She attended the university her parents taught at, and gained basic engineering knowledge, and specialized in artificial limbs and organs, along with surgery, in order to help other people the same way her father did to herself.

In a few years, at age 20, she seemingly disappeared. In truth, she left home, with a note, going off to see the wonders of the world, harness more of her elemental powers, and to help those who might need her assistance.

Personality: Petra is optimistic, and carefree, even in horrible danger. Many have called her a cheerleader, though they would be in fact jealous of her pep. She loves knowledge as well, and will dive in a book for hours to soak up more. Though she has a habit of switching topics on the fly, or shifting her attention to something else even when someone is talking right in her face.

Other: She's still learning her magical capabilities, but can summon projectiles made of the various elements to fire at opponents if needed.

Name: Mycket Ignotus

Age: 27

Gender: Female

Occupation: Acts as a companion and protector of Petra in case she's attacked.

Appearance:

Skill: She's proficient with her weapons, and is known for being a bit sadistic with her trident. She knows how to hand-make ammunition and explosives, given the right materials.

Bio: Mycket was born into a somewhat poor family, living in the slums of Baratone. She started working when she was young, and soon found herself in the local town guard. She soon found that they were somewhat corrupt, and thus, started secretly derailing their illegal operations. But they soon found out about her as well. They torched her home, killing her parents. Though as they were walking away from the house they soon found themselves killed and maimed by Mycket, who killed them with a trident and quickly ran away. She wasn't fast enough. The rest of the force found her, and overwhelmed her. They broke her back, beat her to a pulp and left her in a ditch for dead, where Petra found her.

She took her in, carrying her back to the town, where she operated with great care and fixed her spine, adding in some attachments to regulate the artificial part at the start. Nue, after awaking, found herself healed and with artificial blade-looking things sticking out of her back. Petra offered to remove them later but Nue rejected, finding use in them. Petra offered Mycket a chance to see the world, and she accepted, as she had nothing left to lose. She got back her trident, and "procured" some weapons from the law enforcers, and set off for a new adventure and a new life.

Personality: Mycket is a brave, hardy girl who acts more like a man than some men do. She's strong of heart and a bit arrogant, and what she says, she means, and with achieve through any means possible. What she lacks in knowledge she makes up for in street smarts and things she's picked up along the way.

Other: Mycket has a decently large arsenal of weapons, which she uses to great effect in battle.

Lead Delivery System:

The Lead Delivery System is a upgrade of a standard issue "Tommy Gun", upgraded for military use, though mercenaries tend to use them as well for their sheer reliability. Equipped with several recoil compensators to handle kickback, along with steam motors to enhance the velocity of the bullet, this thing packs a punch, and combined with the large clip, it can devastate crowds of people in the right hands.

Orca Bomb Propeller:

This launcher was designed for dealing with large, armored targets, or masses of small enemies, and it does that job effectively. Equipped with custom-made, high-explosive sphere shaped bombs, it is capable of taking down large groups of enemies with a small delay, allowing the bomb to settle in place before detonation (or to hit someone HARD in the face before they explode into a nice gooey pulp.).

Single Piston Long Musket:

Originally intended for hunting big game, this lever action, piston driven and magazine fed steam musket soon found itself to become a staple in both the military and police forces for being cheap to build, reliable on the battlefield, and packing enough power to fell an elephant. Equipped with a sight magnification and a velocity enhancing barrel make this weapon a force to be reckoned with in the hands of a skilled marksman.

Multi-Chamber Man Thrower:

The Multi-Chamber Man Thrower, or more simply the MMT is a fully automatic combat shotgun designed for guarding high-security buildings. Not many were made, due to it's purpose, but it's reputation has still risen. The MMT has a small spread for a shotgun, with each pellet having a high penetration factor, allowing one to fire through thick armor to hit the juicy center. It's alternate fire, however, is what makes it unique. It has the capability to fire out a burst of powerful steam, pushing opponents back. In small spaces, this usually ends with a wall being hit and concussions to occur, allowing the user to open fire on the disoriented opponent.

Trident (No fancy names here, also see appearance for the trident's appearance):

A somewhat simple trident with an ornate pattern on it. It was passed down through Mycket's family through the generations, though people have sort of lost the reason of why that is. It's ,mostly made of steel, though the pointed are made of a mixture of a brass coating and a titanium tip. It's very good at spearing fish. And people, as evident from Mycket's case.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

And now it's not. I think. It's pretty much done, though.
