I was thinking of taking a break for a little while, have a period where the characters could rest and not immediately have another mission.:p
It would be like the Hawaii part, only less rushed.

That's the thing. Everyone else would be able to rest, during that time I will have X, Zero, and Axl take a temporary leave. Everyone else could have their break time, while X, Zero, Axl, and Alia go off and do what they need done. I imagine a lot of our characters going their separate ways then being brought together on purpose by Sigma's henchmen or something.

I was thinking something similar. They would still frequently see each other, only not as much.

Feel bad for them? I think I would feel bad for Alia a bit more... I mean she is going to continue work as a navigator after all. They usually have the busiest jobs, sitting at a highly advanced computer almost 24/7 doing god knows what. They are more busy than the actual Hunters themselves! Hell a single Navigator in the Hunter HQ sometimes gets assigned to several different Hunters across the globe! X, Zero, and Axl might get some downtime between each Maverick attack, but the Navigators will be busy even between most missions. Luckily they are assigned small breaks every now and then.
