                          I would imagine that it might work.

                          Darkness is the embodiment of of everything negative, such as evil, unholiness, cold, destruction. Light is the exact opposite. It symbolizes good, holiness, warmth, and creation.

                          Good and Holiness are universal traits in all of humanity's religions, so it should work, right?
