Yes I know how fire works. Perhaps I didn't explain it properly.
Fire is a chemical reaction that keeps going and going until it runs out of fuel, loses all of its heat, or gets starved of oxygen.
What Jason did was slow down that reaction until it died.
Fire needs three things to keep burning.
Oxygen, heat, and fuel.
Jason got rid of one of the three needs of the fire, therefore, it died.
He got rid of heat by slowing down the molecules in the air.
Heat is what you get when molecules vibrate very fast.
Is that a good enough explanation?
I hope I know elementary grade science. How else would I have passed highschool physics and engineering?:p
