How about something to keep a good eyes on. Like CCTV mod, for security and checks up on machining and other stuff. Also, the security mod to keep your home safe or factory protected.

Here are few good video example.

CCTV mod

Security mod

Also good defense turrets if you wanna build a heavy protected base.

Now I don't know which is a good mod for guns. I heard Flan was one of the good ones to use. o.o

Well here is the better video showing off this mod. Yes, it is compatible with Flan mods if that in there.

3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCaIanOHimU

Lastly the Tank mods.

I don't know if all these mods are good, but I wanna create a military base in the honor of Momiji Inubashiri army! >:D

You have a good idea and I like what you are trying to do but... Pls don't double-post, and we don't really use military mods and one of the reasons why we don't is because it must be useful for The Journey to Gensokyo, that is the central point of the whole modpack

Ah, my bad on the double post. I just got overly excited about this thing. I have so much of this fantasy idea. But I guess you're about keeping it Touhou Style. However we all cool about CCTV and security mod being okay, right?

Sorry again, I could just edit the post now and delete the second post.

@Nick

Nah, as long as it's something cool and unique, I'll most likely add it.

@Hikaru

That CCTV mod. Yeah................................................................................................................ No

Spoiler

As for the rest, most of the things can be easily mimicked with MFFS im guessing.

Well, that's good again! I guess I can make my fantasy idea come into minecraft world. I was really hoping to have the CCTV mod, but I just came to research that the guy who made it gave up on it. Which was really disappointing because that right there would be one of the best minecraft security of keeping eyes on players and mobs. But, I'm more happy about other mods can be in it. Whooa! Wan Wan Clan create a militarily base! >8D

hey Katrix, I have several questions.

1. Is there an ETA as to when RTY 2.0 will be released? Are you waiting for some mods, or have you not made enough time to compile them together into a modpack?

2. I know there is an inventory wipe, but will there also be a map wipe?

1. No ETA. I'm one person that is already busy with other things like school. I would say that I do have all the mods, but many of them are still in beta and alpha. If you want a things to go faster, then go here and post something. http://yukkuricraft.net/forumdisplay.php?4-Server-Forum-Suggestions-Bug-Reports

2. Completely starting from a blank slate. A inventory wipe wouldn't make much sense if there weren't a map wipe too.

Are we definitely not adding TConstruct? I've always found that Tinker's Construct is not OP at all; in fact, it balances the upsides of tools with the need to put a lot of effort and resources into making them. For instance, a hammer has high durability and mines a 3x3, but it takes a ton of materials to make (Somewhere from 20-30 ingots). There's also the need to gather a ton of sand, gravel, and clay balls; even the smallest possible smeltery takes about a stack of each. Sure, some of the add-ons might seem OP, especially Auto-repair, but keep in mind that even those are balanced out somehow. Luck takes 450 lapis to max out, and usually 150 before it makes any difference. Auto-repair fixes tools very slowly (a little faster when in daylight), and requires 9 mossy cobblestone to apply anyway.

Above all else though, TConstruct allows for a lot of customization. You can use different materials for parts to create a weapon that looks just how you want it to, like a rapier with a wooden handle, slime crystal guard and iron blade. On top of all that, the liquids and chiseled blocks added by TCon allow for a lot more building devices, such as melting mobs in a smeltery for blood, which can then be used to make a blood fountain (or a true Lake of Blood, if you melted enough mobs).

If you still decide not to add Tinker's Construct, that's fine because the choices are ultimately yours to make. However, I would like to hear the reasons why you consider it to be an OP mod, as simply saying that it's OP doesn't leave much room for discussion.
