RTY 2 is the the next version of RTY, that version that I've been working forever on. So, what is RTY then? RTY is Yukkuricraft's official modpack! It is in many ways similar to FTB, but this modpack is much more focused on Touhou, even more so than it's predecessor. RTY itself can be considered a hard modpack. There are no commands to set home and that sort of stuff. The monsters are much more terrifying than normal, and it is not uncommon to die at the first night if you do not have a place to stay. Due to there not being a easy way to keep track of players, plus the fact that it would involve more work, the modpack is a private modpack, meaning that you have to apply here.
Why is RTY 2 so hard?
The reason that RTY 2 is hard is because there are mods around. Ever heard the phrase "Moded minecraft is like creative mode", or something similar? The Difficulty tries to combat this, and prolong the life of a average play trough. In vanilla minecraft, monsters are a joke once you have decent equipment. That still holds true for RTY 2, BUT iron tools are no longer decent tools. Iron tools are 3 first days tools.
Do the rules still apply?
Yes, unless stated otherwise, all the rules from the main server also applies to this server. There are going to be exceptions for example will you be able to pvp and steal freely in the Nether and End (more on this later). This also means that the ban list is shared between the two servers.
How do I get access to RTY 2?
RTY 2 will be distributed with the FTB launcher. To get the code for the modpack, simply state your interest here. "gib whitelist" does not count as stating your interest. Your post needs to be a decent post asking to join. "I would love to join RTY 2" is a example of a good post.
What if I already have the code for RTY 1?
Post here again please. Due to several reasons (last thread being bloated, many people inactive, easier to keep track of) the code for the modpack is being changed. This means that if you want access, even tough you had access to RTY 1, please post here again.
