I hate how good my dreams are. They usually involve me becoming one of my OC's in a anime world, or in Gensokyo or other places based off of anime with my fav anime characters...

Then when I realize I'm actually dreaming I tend to wake up shortly after and I'm not fully able to enjoy my dream!

I had this one dream about Touhou where I had to escape from the SDM's basement with a large group of other people. It was actually pretty scary, especially when the serious bits started, like when Remilia called out to Flandre after throwing us in the basement.

She said, "Flandre, new playmates!"

It wasn't a very pleasant dream, but I made it out and ended up in a strange field with only one dirt road, except there was a heavy fog and barbed wire fences on each side of the path.

The other times I dream about Touhou, it's kind of random events.

That tends to happen. From what I've gathered, one of two things happen when you become aware that you are dreaming. Either you just wake up or you start lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming is when you have FULL control over your dreams and can do anything in them. It takes a lot of practice but I've heard that lucid dreaming is f*cking awesome! Imagine the stuff I could do! (No. Not raping little girls, you dirty minded people!)

Smash through the blocks that bar your way; No time for fear, just let it all fall away; Nobody believes in me and you, Just look at the way they stare; So what if we live in a walled garden, As long as I've got you then I don't care!

And I'm just waiting for final confirmation from Katrix before I go ahead and actually get to do something with ACO in general. Cole and Flan will have a Helicopter escort out of there as soon as I know a bit more about what would be on the outter perimeter of the castle...
Also it would allow me when Cole with Flan is in the helicopter for me to kinda begin to illustrate the differences between PALADIN and WRAITH.

On the dreaming topic:
I had Lucid dreaming once, sort of. I was flying/gliding around as though I was Pit and it was sort of based on the concept I saw from the commercials for the TV series Revolution. It was pretty fun...

Right. From what I can guess, it'd either be a recreation of The World That Never Was or just a dingy Russian equivalent of Detroit (no offense to people living in Detroit). Also, that sounds good.

@S121
Holy f*ck! That seems... rather peculiar... and awesome! And scary. If I were in that scenario, I'm not sure what I'd do. Flandre is my 2nd/3rd favourite character so I would most likely gaze at her in awe and excitement. But at the same time, it's Flandre! She'd kill me!

@S121

I remember one dream... well nightmare that was really creepy instead of awesome... I woke up inside some abandoned hospital, and I remember one thing... it was creepy as all hell once I started hearing footsteps behind me. I ran in an never-ending hall... until suddenly a door flew open and I ran into it, thus waking up almost immediately with a bad headache... and I was on the floor... in my living room...

@TRXD

I know what Lucid Dreaming is. One of my friends claims he knows how to trigger lucid dreaming and stuff, but I don't really believe him. I really wish that I can trigger Lucid Dreams and stuff...

Also I remember occasionally having one dream that started out, then after I woke up and fell asleep the next night my dream seemed to continue right where I left off. It was actually one of my more pleasant dreams.

I was the only one out because all the doors were locked and the windows were indestructible and were glowing purple, but the window above the front door was broken. I was given a boost up to the broken window, but before I could help anyone else up, Flandre appeared and killed everyone. It was actually quite terrifying. 0_0;

As for lucid dreaming, I can almost always tell that I'm dreaming, but sometimes it's like I'm watching a movie, and that the dream me is making all the decisions I would make if I was fully conscious, kind of like a pre-programmed version of me that makes all the choices I would make if I had full control over my body. It's really weird. :p

@SUSTIC

I had a dream where I was electrocuted by high-voltage cables, and when I woke up, I was shaking violently, like I was having a seizure. It was one of my more bizarre dreams.

Like I said to TRXD, my lucid dreams are a little bit different. I rarely get god-modding capabilities in my dreams. Most of the time, it's just minor alterations, like being able to survive an RPG, or being incredibly fast, kind of like slow motion.

I would say that the best known way to start lucid dreaming is through reality checks and seeing what is real and what is not. But these are Touhou and video game dreams were talking about, I think we would know that they were not real.
And f*ck me, S121! I can imagine how morbid and vivid that must've been! I think I'm going to pray to whatever being there is that I do not have a dream like yours. The only thing close to terrifying (for me) would've been this one strange moment where I had passed out one day when I was ill and in my dream; I started uncontrollably flying upwards. Regardless of what I did, I could not lower myself or change my direction of flight. I just flew upwards. I think that very dream actually contributed to and even caused my acrophobia...
