@ Wriggs

just making sure I understand what you mean by what Lucco just did...

Are the bullets supposed to be blinding effect or are you trying to say there's just that many of them?

There are a lot of them, but Shulk and Kenway should be able to dodge them. (I don't recommend reflecting them.)

Relevant to what just happened imo.

Oh and dependent on which arc (might be London I go with in the end to accelerate things)

She'll be making an entrance soon

That doesn't make any sense at all. The great strength of the spear is it's reach. A axe have even less reach than a sword, and let's not even talk abou the fact that that guy doesn't have any form of armor.

@ Katrix

It's not 100% but I think it goes like this:

Spear beast sword because what you said
Sword beats axe as it's more agile (or something like that...)
axe beats lance cause of overwhelming strength (or something... like... that)

and yes, Frederick has armor...just no helmet.

It's a joke in Fire Emblem cause the weapon triangle doesn't really matter if you know what you're doing.

And Frederick is the pre-promoted unit in Awakening and because of the way the game works, he can become very brokenly powerful so people joke around on that fact.

EDIT: And then there's just the absurd...

@ S121

Oh and I'ma direct something towards Prometheus Labs, so prepare yourself for that.

Considering the puzzle in Banished Library...

What if the spear that the axe was aiming at suddenly disappeared? A too powerful swing would leave the person completely open. It is true that you could more easily trap the spear with a axe, but that doesn't help you if you are already dead in that time.

All in all spear type weapons are extremely efficient against most types of weapons.

I also found this while looking around. See post 22

@ Katrix

For the most part, ya.

Fire Emblem Logic

Luckily the bonus it gives is purely hit % related so if you ignore the triangle, you might lower your hit rate and raise your opponent's.

...which in Lunatic+ mode...matters...a lot....

@Cucoo

Raises hit chance?!

That makes even less sense. Spearmen would normally keep their enemy out of reach making it so that you could not hit them. It's like the only reason spears actually have a advantage.
