Outside Yakumo Estate - Gensokyo |Dusk
Renamon had no real damage aside from her arm braces being burnt from the impact and now she was evading her enraged partner´s attacks "Nera, you have to calm down, I can´t uderstand you if you are attacking me with massive attacks" she said evading a ground trembling stomp
Then just by the corner of her eye, the fox noticed that Annie was running out of the house and the estate "Annie? why is she running away?" she asked outloud and then saw a paw coming to her face
Reacting by mere instinc, the vixen took the jackal´s punch and stopped it with a lot of effort "I know what you are thinking right now, You want to see why Annie is angry and devastated at the same time, but right now your only concern is just me. Now attack me golden fox with all your might" Nera growled taking a leap backwards and forming her bonestaff
Renamon sighed and followed the idea by going for the offensive. She evaded the staff by ducking it´s horizontal slice and going for a sliding kick on the jackal´s stomach. Nera saw this coming and bent enough to land a punch on the oncoming kick. Both beast females got up and starting sparring heavily, no hit could be done as they countered eachother.
"Come on Rena, I know you are faster than this, don´t hold back" The jackal growled with more fierce n her voice as she prepared another aura sphere. Yet this time when she threw the sphere, Renamon run towards her by using a power paw. Both attacks hitted dead making another explosion sending both of them some meters away. Renamon didn´t hesitate and went for a powerful knee kick, but Nera countered it with a close combat hitting on th fox´s arms and ribs.
The vixen held between punches waiting for the right moment until she took an oncoming jab and hurled the lucario with her own momentum and inertia to the floor face down. She didn´t stop and got herself above her partner growling "Now tell me what the hell is going on with you, Why are you mad at me so much? what did I do to hurt you" she asked holding the jackal on the floor
"You didn´t do anything.." Nera mumbled trying to break loose of the lock. Renamon barely heard what she said and quickly spun her partner to pin her with both arms on th e jakal´s shoulders "Just tell me what is troubling you so I can understand"
Nera looked away trying not to look at the fox still mumbling "You don´t get it.. always try to help to notice it" she spoke holding her emotions
Renamon on the other hand was releasing her´s as she was scared with her next question "Did I.. hurt you?" her question was of deep scare coming from the almost stone wall of the digimon
Nera´s head snapped back and looked at the fox´s eyes "NO! it´s not that, it´s just-" she was interrupted when her captor snapped
"Then what did I do Nera!? I know im not the most affective being in this world and Im always silent, but that is how I have lived my entire life, but I do what I can with you and you know it since you have been in my mind for almost two years, then add the other three when I reached your world. So here i am asking you what is troubling you so much that is making me get scared to know! the vixen growled shaking the jackal´s shoulders from time to time
Nera was hurt on her heart, but not at what the fox was thinking, it was something she dreaded even more.
Scared of what to say, she just blurted out a whisper "Leave me alone.. just give me some time" she said now having a tear falling down on her cheek
Startled by the droplet of water, the jackal looked up and saw the fox, her face was naturally calm, but the eyes were like if they were empty ad there was a line of a tear comin from one of them. Realization dawining on her Nera quickly spoke "Oh no.. that isn´t what I meant Rena, I-" she was suddenly free from the lock and saw that her partner was some meters away looking at anything but her "I understand you know? you want a partner who an be there for you and I haven´t been that one because of the war. I did try to open up, but my nature is the one that stops me from showing emotions, Im just a figher. Yes I try to help everyone I can, but I barely show appreciation to other people." se said with her calm tone of voice, but one could hear desperation and edge on it.
She looked at the jakal and continued "You are more like an opposite of me in terms of emotions, you act by them and show them to everyone making aquantaces anywhere easily. Even with your tribe in SInnoh you were the pinnacle of society in the wilds. How I managed to get partnered with yu is something I still don´t understand but have been grateful for, so I understand and will respect any choice you make" she finished barelyholding her emotions.
Nera was beyond shocked at how she hurted her partner and even more about how the vixen spoke about her. Taking a deep breath, she walked towards the fox.
Renamon was trying her best to be calm and not do anything else to worsend the situation when she noticed that the jackal was coming. She froze prepared for the outcome. She was ready for a rejection, a words, even a sorry or something related, but the fox didn´t expect the punch on the face that sent her flying to crash on one of the Yakumo house´s walls making a deep crack on it.

As they were driving to the labs they heard a loud booming sound up ahead from Jack's location. As this happened Chung immediately went pale and had began screaming.
"HOLY F***ING SHIT I BLEW JACK TO SMITHEREENS!!! I'M SO GOING TO GET IN TROUBLE FOR THIS I SHOULDN'T HAVE GIVEN HIM THAT DEVICE BEFORE TESTING IT FIRST!!!" Chung began yelling as Eve sighed. She then turned around to Chung and gave him that same impassive glare... yet... at the same time Chung knew what Eve was intending so he quickly covered his mouth with his hand as he got a look of pure terror on the thought of what possibly happened...
Raven also heard the loud boom, and as such he freaking sighed. "And there goes the device... and Jack..." He said as he quickly glared at Chung who was too busy to notice Raven's glare.
"So Lily how bad do you think the damage that Chung and Jack just caused is?" He asked as he wasn't exactly worried about Jack, but he was at the least somewhat worried about what happened...

Meanwhile, Daniel was worried for his fellow SPARTAN, and it showed.
"Lily, let's hurry up.", Daniel said in a more authoritative tone as he put his foot a little bit more on the gas and sped ahead of Lily's Warthog.
Lily quickly followed suit and hit the gas as well, following behind to see if Jack was still alive.
"I don't know. Based on the sound of that explosion, it had to be powerful enough to break steel. If that's the case, then I'm not sure Jack is okay.", Lily said to Raven in a concerned tone.

"Let's please hope that if Jack is okay... that the other Spartans will restrain him before he gets to Chung... He's already pissed at Elsword..." Raven said as he was quite literally sweating up a nervous storm... and he has good reason to...

John could see that Annie was crying. Whatever was said, or whatever was bothering her was obviously significant, and whatever it was, John wanted to try and help Annie.
"Because even if it's only been a day, I care about you. You were alone and scared in the woods when I found you, and after helping you, you started to trust me. From what I've seen you're a good kid. I don't think you would act this way without a good reason to. I was told about this man wanting you to return to your world, but I want to hear your side of the story. What happened in that room?", John asked Annie in a calm, yet concerned tone.

After a minute of driving, both Warthogs finally made their way to the garage, where Jack could be seen. Instead of being reduced to a mangled corpse, or having his armor blown apart, Jack was simply leaning against the wall next to the garage door, waiting for them to return. If Chung looked at Jack, he could probably see that Jack was staring at him through the skull carved into his visor.
"Jack, are you okay?", Daniel asked Jack in a confused tone.
"Yep.", Jack calmly said to Daniel, not taking his eyes off of Chung for even a moment.

"I was in a League match hosted at the Howling Abyss." Annie began. "Stupid League... I hate the system. Putting a bunch of fine warriors, mages, marksmen, and fighters into a deathmatch is not what I call sports, so to make my purpose known, I used the Hellfire spell to ablaze the arena for weeks."
"I was banished, of course, and I was ready to die when I found Icathia, a city where the difference between dimensions are the thinnest. But I arrived in this world."
"Now I found you, and this... Gensokyo place. I finally found a place where I can easily call it home... But now I'm going to be sent away... It's just not fair!"

John couldn't believe his ears when he heard about how Annie was essentially put into a deathmatch for other peoples' entertainment. The battlefield where people died was no place for her. She was just a kid. To be honest, it disgusted John. From what John could tell, participation in these "deathmatch" games were not consensual.
"What will happen to you? Did you tell Ran about all this?", John asked Annie.

"I'm not really impressed with your answer... but you seem to have potential to become something more... something more fit for this pitiful world... Perhaps... no... not yet... I don't think you are ready to possess it's power..." Said the Grim Reaper Mega Man... as he began to walk away. Just as he was about to teleport away he turned to Lisa.
"Just know this bug... Soon this world will fall into despair... and when it does... you and your defective Maverick Hunter 'friends' will have what's coming to you... until then..." He said as he disappeared. However his voice could still be heard... "Until then enjoy the time you have left!"
MEANWHILE IN THE SKIES ABOVE
X was flying higher and higher into the air as he saw the airship up ahead. As he did he quickly activated communications with Lisa.
"Lisa I see the airship closing in on the city!!! I'll try and take out the bomb, you take care of the Radio Tower!" X yelled over the in-built communications device he had before flying off towards the airship.
Once he got with in range he took aim at the Air ship as he began to prepare a charge shot. However as he approached small hidden automated turrets on the airship emerged from some panels on the outside of the craft had opened fire on X. This caught X off guard as he was still charging up a shot. X tried to fly out of the way, but he was still shot in his left leg. X screamed as he felt a sharp pain go through his Neuro receptors. Immediately after a few more turrets emerged as they continued to fire upon X who was unable to avoid it. As such he was being pelted by high powered energy shots constantly, dealing extensive damage to his armor... However he still remained airborne as he switched to his last Sub-Tank to refuel his systems. X then began to return fire upon each automated turret... taking each one out at a time while avoiding the gunfire.

Claire slightly smirked a bit at Six's response. "Well as your girlfriend I have the right to worry about you if you get injured in any way... so there." She said with a slight fake smile as she sat back down. Chris then stepped forward as he looked at Six.
"Well then I guess we are both free for today. I would say I have something for you for Christmas Six... but... I don't really have a gift or anything..." Chris said as he laughed a bit. It was true though. He has been busy with training lately that he just didn't have the time to go out shopping for Christmas gifts.

For a long while now Model F had remained quiet as it continued to run for scans in as much online databeases as possible in an attempt to locate Phantom's creator... no luck.
"Ocelot... bad news... I can't find Phantom's creator to be honest... all data concerning him seems to be privately locked... Either he was dangerous, and his files had been locked away. Or the data is just flat out confidential. So I can't really find any info on his past at all except from a small bit of info on something called Wikipedia... but most of it is also marked as classified." Model F said as he began floating around Ocelot.
"But I did find someone who could possibly help. He goes by the name of Gate. He's some sort of Researcher who also happens to be a Reploid. He's a far older model Reploid when compared to Phantom, but this Gate guy from what I found out is actually pretty smart. He specializes in accessing hidden codes, and developing things like viruses, programs, and other stuff. Maybe this Gate guy can help... I just... am still trying to locate the guy..."

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.
