    Hank's House - Nevada | Dusk

"Teleported where? Phobos is here, in Nevada.", John calmly said to Hank.

      Hank's House

"How would I know? I didn't do it." Hank said.

      City, Nevada

Footsteps were heard near the Doomguy, the sound of marching. Dozens of 1337 agents along with a couple of MAG agents marched down the street, killing any zombies in their way. Thye seemed to be marching for the Science Tower. Each agent heavily armed. It honestly looked like they were going to war. Luckily, they didn't notice the Doomguy, or they would've shot him on sight.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

Stared at the marching soldiers and stood in the shadows of the alley. He took out his pistol once again and decided to follow them as they marched on.

A single ATP engineer was in the back, fiddling with a device until it came on, revealing a spectral holographic imgae of the Auditor.

"Sir, we've arrived in the city as you requested, but the tower seems to have been set into a destruct sequence." the ATP said.

"Goddamn Phobos. Get an engineering team in there, get to maintenance, and shut down that sequence. We need the building and Phobos intact if we want the Nexus to be rebuilt." The Auditor replied. "Now GO."

"Yes sir!" The ATP engineer saluted and shut down the device, seemingly gathering other ATP units from the group and rushing towards the building.

"I thought I'd tell you Jesus's whereabouts, just in case he needs to be extracted from the area. I don't know how strong this Phobos is, so I decided to tell you, just in case the guy is more than a threat.", John calmly said to Hank.

After speaking, John opened up a Corridor of Darkness and looked back at Hank.

"Later, and good luck.", John said as he entered the portal and disappeared.

The Doomguy merely observed them while hiding behind some debris from the explosions. "This clearly can't be something good." He thought to himself. "I need to intercept their plans." He then looked around, searching for a way in and past the agents.

"Why can't he use the door?" Hank sighed and got up, headed downstairs to Deimo's little lab and room.

"Ey, Deimos, you ever get the MAGnificator working?" Hnak asked.

Deimos popped out from a little corner of the room. "Are you planning on using the damn thing? You remember what happened the first time?"

"Well you did get killed during the process." Hank retorted. Deimos replied with a sigh.

"Fine. But only if you let me in on whatever the hell it is you're doing." Deimos replied.

"Deal. Get Sanford too." Hank said.

The agent's lines were well organized and very threatening. If each of them being armed with rifles, SMGs, and shotguns wasn't much of a deterrent, the large almost 20 ft tall MAG agents holding Magnums the size of the Doomguy himself probably were.

                Science Tower

Phobos and Jesus kept fighting, explosions be damned. But eventually, the explosions seemed to stop, confusing Phobos, though that didn't distract him from fending off the Savior's complex swings.

"Nope. I'm not getting past them." He said lowly to himself. "If just I had something to fight my way through except for this two-bullets-left gun." He then looked around him for a quick way out and ran back towards the way he came from.

Yakumo House - Mayohiga - Gensokyo | Dawn

All of a sudden a corridor of Darkness opened up in front of the Yakomo house and John stepped out. After John closed the Corridor of Darkness, he then let his Darkness armor dissipate, leaving him in his training clothes with the Electrocannon in his hands. John knew that everyone was up by this time, so he didn't try to sneak around the house to mask his heavy footsteps.

"Hello?", John asked, seeing if anyone would answer.

Zombies and the straight jacketed abominations came out of a building to Doomguy's side. The abominations rushed him with surprising speed, headbutting him with their thick skulls with quite a force.

                      Hank's House

Deimos and Hank stepped into a side room, where a large cylindrical machine stood, with an open hatch on the front and a computer next to it. Hank stepped into the hatch and Deimos closed it, typing in commands on a keyboard as the machine started up. The machine did it's business and Deimos typed with the keys, and eventually, the hatch opened. Hank was now far bigger and menacing, probably around 13 ft tall, with a metal jaw like device and a big red, crustaceous looking arm. He flexed his fingers and looked to Deimos, who was almost dwarfed by him.

"Hmph, better than I thought." Deimos chuckled.

                        Yakumo Estate - Gensokyo

The house was pretty much empty: with an exception of a small orange cat perched on the roof. The cat stared at John with a fierce look, identified him as part of the Yakumo family, and ran off to the backyard.

                        "Thanks ma'am!"

"Yeah. I'll send you the receipt in the mail."

Vi sent her last customer away before flipping the sign on the window from open to closed. Before turning off the light, Vi looked at her reflection through a small mirror and sighed. Vi was a tomboyish lady: with half-shaved pink hair, purple eyes with the word VI tattooed across the bottom of her right eye, and broad shoulders that resembled a boxer's. Recently however, her proud shoulders were slumpy, due to the fatigue she received in this world.

What is this world? When Vi jumped into the artificial worm-hole to chase Jinx, a notorious criminal bent on destruction and havoc, she appeared near what was called Pier 37, a military port turned into a tourist attraction. Suspecting that Jinx is nearby, Vi works as an auto-mechanic by day and searches for Jinx by chasing criminals by night. However, after a month of searching, Vi couldn't even find a sliver of blue hair.

"I think I'll take a break from crimebusting today..." Vi mumbled as she turned off the shop's light, hopped onto her pink-and-black motorcycle and rode out into the dusk-filled streets of San Francisco.

He looks at the assaulters and gets up as he rubs the helmet. "This might prove a bit difficult." He looks around, thinking hastely. "Two shots left and there's enemies to both side." He then sighs and shot one of the abominations towards the face and stood ready like a football player ready to charge.

John knew about the cats Chen took care of, so instead of being curious, he simply shrugged it off. John remembered one of the first times he came by, the cats were hostile towards him, more so than any cat John had ever encountered. They would follow him around the area, hissing at him and giving him menacing glares. Now that four months had passed, they had accepted him as a part of the family. After ending his train of thought, John walked inside.

"I'm back from an errand.", John said as he entered the house with the Electrocannon over his shoulder.

It seemed as if everyone was absent, so John walked further into the house and to Yukari and his room. Once inside, John opened up a Corridor of Darkness and hid the Electrocannon deep within the Realm of Darkness, where not even the Heartless or Nobodies would be able to find it. Once the gun was well hidden, John went to the bathroom and took a shower.

After a couple of minutes, John left the bathroom and got himself dressed in "civilian clothes." John didn't find normal clothes to be as comfortable as his underarmor, but he was no longer a soldier, at least not a soldier by nature anymore. Ever since Yukari and John got married, many things about him changed. For example, some of Yukari's traits rubbed off on him. John was a little more relaxed than he used to be, a little less reluctant to make jokes, and actually developed a playful side. Of course, he would only show these traits to Yukari, Ran, and Chen. He was still a Spartan-II, and as such, he had a reputation to keep.

After dressing in an olive green t-shirt, blue denim pants, and black hiking boots, John left Yukari and his bedroom.

As Cole and Flandre began to attack the Creepers 7 of them were knocked out. Two of them turned into sword and began swinging at Cole and Flandre, two of them tuned into spears and appeared over Flandre and Cole and flew down while the last one expanded it's legs and kicked Cole with them. One of the berserkers also began swinging it's hammers. To it the hammer was a light as a feather so it had no problems whatsoever. In the meantime there also arrived more nobodies. 20 new Creepers, 12 new Dusks, 8 new snipers and 4 new berserkers. In addition to that there also came a few new nobodies, 8 Assassins hiding under the floor.

After pacing around the house for a couple minutes, John began to slowly become bored. He used to be fine with boredom, but now that his life had become so eventful, the feeling felt almost unfamiliar to him. After a couple more minutes, John decided to take a walk in the woods to the north of Mayohiga, along the outskirts of Gensokyo. He wasn't planning on being gone for very long, just until Yukari, Ran, and Chen came back home. After turning out all the lights in the house, John left the house and closed the door behind him.

Woods - Outskirts of Gensokyo | Dawn

It was almost noon when John arrived in the woods he would sometimes explore and hike around in. The area was overgrown and teeming with plant life, save for a few barely visible dirt trails. It was no wonder people would accidentally wander into Gensokyo. The only reason John would not get lost was because he familiarized himself with the forest along with the fact that he had been trained to thrive in any environment, including dense forests.

The the sounds of the forest always left John feeling at peace, something he rarely felt. The sounds of birds chirping and of the wind blowing through the trees were music to his ears, while the fresh air left him feeling refreshed. John continued down the barely visible dirt path, appreciating the sights and sounds of the forest.
