    Alcyon - CY-044 - Landing Bay

Bardock continued to fly over the crowd of people, and into the Landing Bay where there were many people busy at work preparing for the sudden emergency landing. However when he got there he didn't see any ship that looked like it had gone through an emergency landing, nor did he see signs of one.

"Am I already too late? Did it land somewhere else...?" Bardock asked himself as he looked up at the ceiling. Seeing the opening in the ceiling that is used for ships, Bardock decided to fly up and outside of the Landing Bay.

Once outside above the rooftops Bardock began scanning the area. At first he did not see anything until he spotted Runa... who is lifting the ship with her mechanical limbs. Surprised by what he is seeing Bardock decides to land next to Runa.

"Whoa, you caught it." Bardock said as he looked at Runa, and the ship she was practically holding in her arms.

Runa was struggling to hold the ship mostly because her arm was stuck, but at least there was no danger, she heard someone and noticed it was the man resting on the landing zone "Letīs say I did, but the damn thing is still stuck" she said puling her arm in vain.

The pilot decided to help the engineer as she opened the cockpitīs window "There is no need to use the force, let me see what got you" she spoke carefully getting out. Now you could see she had many injuries and one of her arms had sparks appearing from time to time, yet she was moving like if it was nothing. The black haired woman sat in a not so delicate way and put her good arm inside the hole while seeing the scene "Lookīs like the punch made a great job, but it got like a fishing hook. Do you have anything like a torch or welding tool?" she asked to both Bardock and Runa

Bardock examined how stuck Runa's arm really was. "Hmm... that is a problem..." he replied as he began thinking of a way to help get Runa's arm out of the ship.

He ignored most of the pilot's words as he finally came up with a possible solution to this problem. "I don't have anything like a welding tool or a torch, but I do have an idea. Stand back." Bardock replied as he placed the palm of his hand on the part of the ship that Runa's arm is stuck in. Then within a few seconds Bardock began to focus his Ki through his body, down his arm, and into the palm of his hand. As he did so a very faint blue aura of energy began to surround his arm. In a matter of minutes the metal on the ship around Runa's arm began to glow a bright red as it began to heat up, and soften in the process.

Once the metal of the ship around Runa's arm was softened Bardock drew his hand back as he clenched his fist. "Now hold still!" He said as he let out a roar as he punched through the softened metal with all his might. Then he grabbed onto Runa's arm inside the hull of the ship and began to try and pull her arm out, slowly but surely Runa's arm was beginning to emerge from the ship. "Damn is this arm stuck deep in there!" He remarked as he continued to try and pull Runa's arm from the softened, heatened ship hull.

"And there goes my ship" the jade eyed woman said with a chuckle, she knew that her ship had an incredible luck since most of it survived from the event. Focusing back on the issue, the pilot put her arm on the engineerīs "Now when I tell you, loose the hand and let it flow"

Runa nodded while waiting for the right moment until she saw the black haired nod, she loosened her hand and moved outwards freeing her arm, but the strength was stronger than needed and she fell on top of the pilot with a grunt "Looks like the job is done" she smiled looking at her mechanical arm, sure there were some scraps and pieces of molten metal, but nothing that some repair work wouldnīt do. The redhead looked at Bardock "Thank you for that, but if I may ask, how did you heated your hand?" she asked oblivious of the woman below her.

            Nevaraas - Colony

Grey walked out of the colony's headquarters, uncertainty creeping in the back of his mind. Although things were proceeding, he couldn't help but wonder if everything was going to be fine.
Outside, he looked up into the clear skies above. A brief, bright glint of green caught his attention. "Could that be?" he wondered to himself. He was aware of these structures in orbit around each planet of the Galaxy. From what he knew, they were a sort of Warp Gate system that connected distant parts of the Galaxy together. Curiosity growing, he increased his pace, hurrying back to his old transport, quickly climbing into the cockpit and starting up all systems. Soon enough, he was air-born and throttled the engines to maximum thrust and engaging the afterburners in preparation to reach escape velocity. Buckling in, the craft shakily accelerated out of the atmosphere and into low orbit. Now out of the turbulent atmosphere he began to relax slightly. Artificial gravity activated and he slowly began to throttle back so as to allow more energy to be expended on life support and other necessary functions. Glancing outside, Grey saw the source of the green light. The warp gate station was a hive of activity. The main gate, a ring of green energy, encircled a strange rift. As he approached the station, he got a better look of the rift. Through it one could see a planet, brilliant blue with a lone continent surrounded by islands. The area around the planet was dotted by what seemed to be constellations. "Is that... Alcyon?" he thought to himself, as he looked on almost in a daze, memories of stories coming back in a rush. However, the dream was cut short as the gate suddenly collapsed in on itself.

After a moment, he turned his craft and decided to head closer to the gate area. Ignoring his communications device beeping angrily with the attempts of those working on the station to contact him to possibly tell him to turn back or whatever they might have to say, Grey slowed his ship until it was a mere meter away from the location where the rift was previously. Glimmering up from where Grey was, one of the three gate devices sat still in its proper position. A quick glance down confirmed the other two were as well. Reaching over to a control panel, Grey muttered to himself "Let's see if this old bucket of bolts can still access these." He flipped one switch, the three devices started to glow after a moment. He flipped another and the ring of energy formed. Slowly, he opened an old book that had page after page of numbers and names.

"A-Z...A section... Al.. Al... Alcy... Alcyon." His finger stopped at the planet name and code he was looking for. Communication device still beeping furiously, other ships were beginning to approach his. "Sheesh...just give me a moment here!" He said, although he didn't open the communication line. Tapping slowly on a keypad, Grey entered the code listed in the book, but stopped short before pressing enter. "Please let this work... for old time's sake." Closing his eyes, Grey submitted the code to the gate. For a moment, nothing. Then what looked like a tear in space itself opened up violently. At first, Grey was delighted thinking that it worked. However, upon further inspection of the rift, all feelings of joy vanished. Through the rift that opened...there was nothing. That is what she perceived. That is what Ignis Leonares perceived. She froze in terror thinking that somehow she opened a rift to someplace else. In her horror, she accidentally pushed the throttle up when a sudden tremor of one of the Gate Station ships attempted to latch on to her ship. Ripping free of the latch, she hurtled through the rift. Her eyes closed, teeth clenched and knuckles white from gripping the controls of her craft in fear, she hurtled into what she thought was the Void. But the reality was: she was in fact falling helplessly in the grip of fear and Alcyon's gravitational field.

Alarms snapped her back to reality after what seemed an eternity. Feeling the tremors of the ship plowing through Alcyon's atmosphere, Ignis opened her eyes and saw that she was spinning uncontrollably. Ground, sky, ground, sky.... Everything was flashing before her in an insane spiral of plasma against shields. Attempting to regain her wits, she frantically looked over her controls. "Flaps...Stabilizers...uhhhh...Thrusters!" She engaged the Omni-directional thrusters again and then tried to get a feel for how her ship was spinning, all the while the altimeter reading was dropping rapidly. "400 m/s... going down... 5,000m..." She didn't bother with how long she really had. Trying to remain calm, she stared outside, trying to watch how the spin was going so she could try to counter it. Sky, ground, sky, ground.... It was a frontal flip. She slammed the stick back in an attempt to counter the spin. After a few seconds, the spinning slowed and she almost achieved a glide. "2,000m..." She then engaged all downward thrusters in an attempt to force her craft into horizontal flight and to slow her fall. She was now at 200 m/s and slowing. "1,000m..." Panic was starting to leave her now as she was almost to a manageable speed and the craft was leveling out. But there was one alarm she didn't realize was going off. "50m/s...! 300m! 25m/s! 150m!"
She achieved horizontal flight. Throwing the switch for stabilizers, the craft started to glide gracefully over the treetops. She began laughing as she thought she managed to recover from a very bad stall. But then...
At that moment, power cut off. She had overtaxed her power core and drained it of power. The ship was not capable of flying without power.
Gliding into the trees below, the stabilizers ripped off and the trees spun her ship around, forcing it to crash into the ground.

The impact knocked Ignis unconscious, but the craft remained intact as it came to rest amongst the trees of the forest. There was no fire. No signal. Nothing.

The whole ordeal from afar would have seemed like a falling star.

The forest was on the south-western portion of the continent. The Forest of Spirits. Not far from the crash site was a hidden shrine...

            ***

            Some time passes...
Ignis starts slightly, the sounds of the forest wildlife outside slowly brings her back to consciousness. She looks up faintly and sees the gentle glow of the sunlight filtering through the foliage. Still dazed slightly, she unbuckles herself from the pilot seat and stumbles forward. After regaining composure, she reaches down and opens a small hatch of a storage compartment under the seat. Inside was an emergency system with a beacon and some flares. Slowly, she turns on the Beacon and takes out one flare. Ignis then makes her way to the hatch of the ship, grabbing her battle scythe, Reaver X, on her way. Pushing open the door out, she takes a moment to get some sort of bearings on where she was. Small little creatures glowing with Gaia energy floated among the trees and shrubbery. The whole scene felt as though she was in some sort of fairy tale. Ignis stood wide eyed for a little while longer before returning to her original task. Igniting the flare in hand, she situated it in a crack in the hull of her ship. The red glowing smoke rose up through the foliage creating a moderate column of color that could be seen easily against the green and blue of forest and sky.

After watching the column of smoke form, Ignis then looked around the forest. There were sounds of creatures trilling softly in the canopy above and the hum of others in the shrubs below. A moment passed, she gave into curiosity and started to explore. She wandered away from her ship and into the thick of the forest. Inadvertently she was heading towards the Shrine.

              Alcyon - CY-044 - Rooftop

After Bardock and the pilot helped get Runa's arm out from the ship's hull he pulled his arm out. He then quickly wiped off any molten metal that was covering his arm as he turned to Runa and spoke.
"Easy. I used my body's natural Ki to heat the hull of the ship to pry your arm out. Wasn't too hard, just getting used to a few new things." He said as he pounded his Saiyan chestplate that he was wearing with his fist.

Oddly enough the molten steel hull did not leave any serious burns on Bardock's arm. The only signs of injuries he had were the many scars covering his entire body, but not his forearm. He was covered in bandages here and there, but he didn't need them at all anymore. Most of his past injuries were pretty much healed.

"Well I guess that's done now. I'll be heading off now." He said as he was getting ready to fly off again.

Runa thought about how someone who was made of flesh could heat his or her own body to melt metal, even more, that man had no injuries because of it. She would have keep thinking about it when a poke on her hip startled her.

"Excuse me, but could you please get your body off from me?" asked the pilot obviously bothered by the fact that she was stuck again. Runa yelped at the realization and helped the raven haired woman to get up. She couldnīt help but focus on the damaged arm. The pilot knew what the engineer was looking at, but shrugged and spoke "Is there any infirmary or workshop I could go? I need to tend with some injuries and repair other parts" she said showing the arm.

The redhead focused on the task and quickly pulled the woman to the closest guard or worker on the colony "Excuse me, but where is the closest infirmary, my friend needs to check her injuries"

Reiya sighed and started to head towards the way she came. "I hope you have an oxygen supply cause I don't have a spare." She said to the guy.
"No matter how strong or what power the enemy has, I will fight and protect my friends, even if it cost me my life to protect them. I will fight until I die to ensure their future."

Bardock who was getting ready to fly removed whatever bandages he had left on his body. After he removed them he took one deep breath as he was now finally ready to fly off again. Turning around to face Runa and the pilot one last time before they left to find the infirmary. He only gave them a quick glance before turning back.

With one last deep breath Bardock took off flying from the rooftop, and randomly into the distance at a speed of at least Mach 1. However as he was flying he saw a quick streak of light in the distance that resembled a shooting star... except during the bright of day... This intrigued Bardock sufficiently to draw his attention. As such he changed his direction to that of whatever this "shooting star" he saw was, after all judging by the looks of what he saw it most likely did land on the planet... but it's exact location and distance is unknown to Bardock. Hopefully if he keeps flying in it's direction, he'll find whatever it was he saw.

One of the Guard's who were working on the rooftop, and saw the whole ordeal looked to be in shock. However his focus was quickly broken as he turned to Runa and the pilot.

"Oh... the Infirmary... you should head down to Transport Tunnel A. I-It leads to the Infirmary, Training Deck, Living Quarters of the personnel of the colony, and the Chief's office. The Infirmary is v-very easy to find once you get there... Now if you do not mind... I-I feel like I need to go take a little break... I need to think about what I just saw..." The Guard replied as he walked, obviously a bit shaken up by what he saw.

Meanwhile in the Transport Tunnel B, the crowd of people began to die down as the Emergency Alert system stopped. People had quickly began to get back to what they were doing, but the Transport Tunnel is still quite crowded. Fortunately for Deimos though, the Transport Car has finally arrived.

Add stopped completely in his tracks as he heard what Reiya said. "Oh goddammit I don't have an Oxygen Supply on me!" He said as he facepalmed. "I really wasn't planning on a sudden rescue like this... even though I should have for the past month I have been on this ship..."Add commented as he thought about something. "I'm going to have to find one which could take a while... that or you can use the empty cargo bay as a makeshift landing bay... then again I have not seen your ship, so I don't know if it will fit... This is quite the predicament..."

                      Transport Tunnel A

Runa thanked the guard as she and the pilot headed to the transport tunnel A, there was the normal worry of an injured person in her mind, but her imaginative side wanted to understand the mix of cybernetics and biological synthetics that the black haired woman had.

Meanwhile, Bryn was actually calm despite her current state. She was looking around and examining her surroundings "This type of place looks pretty similar to where I come from" she commented as they reached the transport.

The person in charge of it gasped at the sight of the injured pilot and nodded at the command of the engineer. They sat on the transport and waited as it took them to their destination. The redhead was trying to look to other places, but she keep gazing from time to time to the white hairedīs eyes, Bryn smirked at that "It is ok, you can look, I wonīt bite".

Runa exhaled some air Sorry, but I have many questions about your body, how does it work? or how much of you is still flesh? are you a cyborg or bioroid? Why are your eyes emerald with black?" and she kept rambling on with more specific questions about machinery and chemicals until she stopped "Sorry, Iīm just excited to see new technology"

"Well, I can answer some right now, it works like any other persons body since I still need food, about only my brain and pieces of organs are still me, Iīm both a cyborg and a bioroid" She showed the brocken arm and lifted the sleeve to show white flesh, the injury was obvious and it should be incredibly painful, but she didnīt show it. There was flesh, but also what looked like cables and cybernetic parts from what could be noticed "My eyes are fully cybernetic and were made to have may functions, they are focused on practical stuff, but the aesthetic side was forgotten" she answered calmly as the transport moved.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

                          Alcyon - Forest of Spirits

The calm of the forest was reassuring to Ignis. The further along she went, the more familiar it felt. She had been here before. The Forest of Spirits, home of the Nymphs that presided over the seasons of the continent of Mana. Where a close friend of her lived...
The memory gave Ignis pause. Questions arose from the dark recesses of her mind. "How long has it really been? Would any of them..." A quick shake of her head silenced the questions. "No... no time to worry about that..." she muttered to herself as she pushed through one more bush. However it was concealing a small ledge overlooking a steep hill. When she went to place her foot down, where she was expecting solid earth, there was open air. Stumbling forward in surprise, Ignis fell head over heels down the slope through rough underbrush. A moment of a rush of vegetation, she came to a stop in a clearing. She took a moment to reorient herself, flinching slightly from scrapes and bruises from the fall. At the other side of the clearing stood a colossal gateway overgrown with vines and flowers. At first one would think the building was not manmade but rather natural. Looking up, Ignis saw five spires among the foliage and above the grand walls of stone. "...The Shrine of Seasons..." Ignis stood in awe of the magnificent structure as memories of a group of young girls, about her age, came back to her. One with brilliant zircon blue hair, another with peridot green hair, a third with ruby red hair, and the fourth with amethyst purple hair.

She remembered carefree when days she would play with these four sisters in the woods near the shrine.
They would sometimes try to go into the depths of the sacred place, only to be quickly caught by the sisters' mother, Kiara.
As Ignis stood there reminiscing, a thought crossed her mind. "What if they're still here? They're nymphs, they can live very long lives..." Curiosity and naïve hope made her approach the ancient doors and firmly open them, slipping in once a large enough gap formed for her.
Familiarity calmed Ignis's fears, but made her careless.

                          - Some time passed -
Slowly waking up, Ignis found herself in a dim room. A shallow layer of water covered the floor that she was laying on. Gathering her senses, Ignis tried to see where she was. Upon further inspection, the room was quite expansive. The ceiling was lost in darkness. In addition, she seemed to be on a sort of pier jutting out into an expanse of water. Towards the entrance of the room stood a figure that looked very much like... herself.
"So, the mistress is finally awake?" the doppelganger chortled. It didn't even look at Ignis, though it was looking past her at something else. Curious, she looked over her shoulder as she started to get on her feet. At the end of the pier was what seemed to be a lighthouse. The beacon was lit. Turning back to face the doppelganger, Ignis was surprised to be looking into it's eyes as it was bending over to face her. "Don't worry, mistress. You'll be safe here." It then grinned slightly. "For now."
"Who are you...?" Ignis said, almost in a whisper.
"Me? No one in particular. At the moment, I think I'll be you for a while." the doppelganger giggled. "And I'm certain you know what I am, hm?"
Ignis stared at the being through narrowed eyes. "...Demonarc Umbra."
"Oh good! The mistress remembers!" The demonarc clasped its hands together by its smiling face. "And here I was worried. Now, I'm going to go make sure no one else gets lost in the Shrine, ok? So you stay put!"
                          "What-?!"
"Nuhuhuh! No need to get yourself all riled up! I'm protecting you, you know. From the big mean bugs. Wouldn't want our precious little mistress to get...sick, now would we?" The demonarc grinned as it faded into a shadow and darted off.
"HEY! WAIT!" Ignis started but a tremor in the water made her go still. looking out into the deeper water, something breeched the surface for a brief moment. Something big.
"Now now, no need to raise your voice! You might disturb the guardian~" the voice of the doppleganger echoed briefly in the room. "Just sit tight, ok~?"
Uncertain what to do next, Ignis obeyed and slowly sat down on the pier. And there she waited.

For some reason, Runa was glad that there was no one at the infirmary as she started taking bandages and tools to help the pilot, she was too focused on her task that she ignored the black haired woman opening her suit.

Iīve got to wonder how these clothes survive like nothing happened while my body is damaged" Bryn spoke while being now on an undershirt from the upper body, it had some stains of her grayish blood, but no rips or tears "Might as well keep something so resistant" she guessed now looking at the damage on her body. There were cuts and scrapes, but she could feel that her ribs were at their limit and her ankle was also injured, obviously her left arm was almost unusable as it stood limp.

The engineer got everything ready and looked at the bioroid "Since you just got one arm at the moment, let me deal with your injures" she spoke matter-of-factly bandaging the cuts and putting salves on the skin "It is also too real to be synthetic.." she murmured. The pilot was dealing with her damaged arm with extreme care since the cables needed to be put back inside and the flesh healed, she took an odd tool from her belt and started healing the biologic part of the arm with a laser, she winced from time to time, but nothing too unbearable.

"Alright, now let me deal with the torso, I can see the damage on the skin" Runa commanded putting the bandage around the pilotīs torso "You are a lucky one to have just this kind of damage, for what I saw of your ship, it must have been something like bandit raids or meteorites" she guessed and received a shrug from the emerald eyed who answered "It was something a bit more complicated" she even made the gesture with her fingers much to the engineerīs amusement Have you ever gone through a wormhole?"

Alcyon Space - Desolate Freight Ship

Reiya couldn't believe this situation. A guy alone on a ship like this and didn't think to have an oxygen supply handy in case of an emergency. Reiya then took her left hand and placed it on her headset. "Reimi, You heard that right?" She asked her AI. "Yep, I'm on it just give me a second." Reimi said through the headset. Reimi scanned the ship to see what she can do. "Alright, here's the situation. Half the ship can fit into the cargo bay but it's door can't open because well, you'll be sucked into space." Reimi explained.

Reiya thought for a minute and then got something. "Reimi, how thick is the ship's armor again?" She asks. Reimi thought for a second and got what Reiya was thinking. "Understood, I'll get the thermal coating reading so just give me the signal when you're in place." Reimi said. "Gotcha." Reiya said and took her hand off the headset. "We're heading to the cargo bay." Reiya said to the guy.

Alcyon - Skies above Forest of Spirits

Bardock continued flying with his Ki until he eventually made it above a rather large forest that seemed to go on for miles on end. The Saiyan warrior continued to fly in search of what he saw earlier. Whether it was a ship or just an actual shooting star is still up for debate, but he kept searching in case it was the former. After all if it was a spacecraft that crashed, then it would potentially be unlikely that it would ever get found this far away from the colony... and Bardock does not want any more guilt on his conscience, not now at least.

As he was flying though he stopped when he saw a faint pillar of smoke in the distance coming from the trees, an indication of a crash landing. Without a second thought Bardock turned his focus to where the pillar of smoke was and began flying towards it.

                                Alcyon CY-044 - Transport Tunnel B

After Deimos boarded the Transport Car, a small crowd of at least 10 others also boarded and took their seats. Once the transport vehicle was full of passengers the doors shut, the Transport Car began to head off to the Residential Area, and in turn a place where Deimos can get a nice, cold drink.

Add just stood there as he did not pay attention at all to what Reiya was saying, simply minding his own business until he heard Reiya say that they were heading off to the Cargo Bay. Without saying anything Add just smirked as he immediately began walking in the direction of the Cargo Bay without saying anything else.
