1 question, wouldn't the young age affect her mentality? Teenage is by far the most emotional phase of a person, which ranges from being at 13 to nearly 22-24 years old.

I could understand with some people, but there are different levels of maturity and mentalities that differ from person to person. Not everyone is greatly emotional. 0.0

Perhaps I should explain that she did have to grow up pretty early. Unlike your average teen, she grew up with the very real knowledge that the world was much bigger than her. It puts things in perspective and makes you realize what are petty emotions and what are rational. It is not to say that she wouldn't have her hard times, but after all this time, and with the help of Shiroji and the others, she has grown up to be this way. Ever since being asked to be a friend to the others, being a "big sister" to Misaka, eventually treating the others in much the same way, and going through all the discipline she had to go through, she has learned to control her mind and body, rather than the other way around.

I just can't put her out of the teenage category, since it is the time where the mind is at most conflict thanks to puberty and being constantly changing, for the good or bad, that is my perspective.

But if she can handle the stress that she is going to be dealing with along the RP, then have at it.

@kristia: around 17-18 is when the human brain has developed to a point of emotional and sexual maturity. Sure they might not be as good at decision making as they will be in their mid 20's but their competent enough. If anything I think you should be more worried about Misaka ^^:

I was talking about averages. Of cores there can always and usually are always outlives and exceptions to the rule. It doesn't change or take away the fact that this IS the age where most humans are for the most part mature enough to be considered adults. It's not a coincidence that you're considered an adult at 18 in most countries.

Tekeshi Industries

The company

Tekeshi Industries was founded all the way back in the year 2020. The originated as a stand alone company who programmed AI's for military hardware. While they didn't build hardware themselves they owned and worked with a lot of vehicles such as choppers and tanks that they legally acquired.

They become a lot more prominent during the great war where they sold dumb AI's to the highest bidder, selling them indiscriminately to every nation so long as they could afford it. During the 15 years that the the war continued, their wealth and power grew as a result of their services being in high demand. About 5 years in however they noticed certan nations had reversed engineered their AI's and were now creating their own using their previous works as a blueprint. In order to stay relevant the company began working on creating it's own military hardware.

Their first projects were simple enough. They made armor with AI's built into them, AI driven tanks and even created the first Fully AI controlled assault Jet which ended up being a huge success and shooting down over 530 enemy aircrafts before the war's end.
After the 15 year long war had ended, they repurposed some of their hardware and made robots capable of assisting people and cleaning up the wreckage of the war, Because of this Japan has considerably less war torn areas renaming than most other nations with a few exceptions for the nations that purchased and imported these same robots.

This brand of robots were named "Tsuku Robos" both in Japan and in the west with Tsuku being short for the Japanese work Tsukuru meaning to build or create and robo being short for robots. This success lasted for a long while until the year 2093 when the founded Takeshi Hagiyoshi died of old age.

The company survived but was lacking any sort of leader which was leading into a three way split of the company. However 2103 the higher ups of the government purchased the company. the new owners restored order withing the company, uniting it once again to create new military hardware to combat the psychics in Japan and across Asia. The first variant of this came in the form of animalistic metal monster bots equipped with rifles and razor sharp appendages that were deployed in bulk to take out psychics in Asia. This was known as the Tetsu youkai Project

Project 鉄妖怪 (Tetsu Yokai - "Iron Monster")

Project Tetsu Yokai was Tekeshi Industries first attempt at creating anti psychic war bots for the government. Unlike in other parts of the world where they employed living human super soldiers, Tekeshi Industries chose the more humane rout through creating combat androids. The first units were very simple, being mostly humanoid in shape and carrying guns that their AI's could use much more efficiently than any human soldier. They were given steel claws and incredible strength due to their hydraulic muscles. They were capable of lifting small cars and trucks and could run up to 40MPH. What's better is that once they had a working model it was easy to mass produce them in factories. Having entire squads of what were known as "鉄狩人 Tetsu Kariudo" or "Iron Hunter" deployed to take out or capture their target espers proved highly efficient.

Project Tetsu Youkai was off to a great start. They became the slandered in anti esper tech. However this created more problems than solutions. Many espers had began fleeing Japan and all of Asia to the west. While the esper problem in Asia had been efficiently quelled, the situation in the west was only getting worse as psychics threatened to overrun the American government.

The current US President at that time made a 40 billion dollar deal with Tekeshi Industries to send their Tetsu Kariudo units to the states to help quell the resistance. They sent their war bots as requested, but it simply didnt' have the same effect as it did in Asia. TI simply couldn't ship the bots quickly enough to fight the American espers, who stood strong and united against the government who sought to destroy them.

Project Tetsu Youkai was forced to up the anti by building new units. The "戦怪 Sen kai" were the next step in the destruction of the esper scourge. Sen Kai roughly translates to "War" But through a clever pun were meant to be called "War Monsters" or "Youkai of War"

The Sen Kai Units were 20 feet tall and resembled cybernetic dinosaurs. The T-rex to be more precise. They could lift and throw tanks like toy balls, move 120 miles per hour at top speed and had armor strong enough to easily brush off tank fire. heir massive guns weer able to tear a man apart, just by passing by them. That's right, the bullet doesn't even need to hit a man to kill them, that's just how fast they were moving.

This unit however came with a lot of drawbacks. The biggest one being the cost and time of production Sen kai were a lot more expensive to build and took far longer. Originally they came in rather small numbers of only two at a time but would grow to be more prominent as time continued. The other great weakness was that while they could travel great distances very quickly, they were difficult to maneuver at high speeds.

This was working well in the states. Most espers couldn't stand against the sen kai units. Even the ones who could have done anything against him never made it close enough. Their AI's were simply too accurate with their guns to let a potential threat get close. as such the espers were being pushed back father and farther to the west.

Things were looking bad for the espers, and unfortunately before things got better, they got worse. The infinite line soldiers were released around this time, sent in to kill high priority targets in one final push to eliminate the psychics. Ultimately the psychics survived, but were forced into hiding. However America's own innovation backfired as the infinite line rebelled against them. Many of the IP line banded together to destroy the sen kai units in America, the first step to their redemption for their sins. It was this act of rebellion from the IP soldiers that prompted the next level of combat robots, Project Kamikiri. But that's a story for another time.

After their defeat at the hands of the infinite line, Project Tetsu Youkai started making improvements to their old models. The biggest flaw with their flagship sen kai units were that they were simply too slow and bulky to fight the quick and agile Infinite line soldiers. The new models would fix that by trading off some of the armor for enhanced mobility and greater fire power.

In addition to improving their old models however, they also began working on a new unit, one that even a super soldier would fear. The new "鉄竜 Tetsu Ryu" or Iron Dragon. The Tetsu Ryu would stand at about 12 feet high with thick armor capable of withstanding extremely high temperatures and blunt impact. They came equipped with high powered plasma cannons. capable of melting through tank armor in a single blast. Tetsu Ryu is a fairly new unit and as such there are only a hand full of them in existence but the project is being ever improved.

Project 神斬 (Project Kamikiri - "God Killer")

Before Project Tetsu Youkai had even began, a subsidiary company working under Takeshi Industries known as "joy Co" was using their AI's to build human companion androids which they affectionately called "Ai girls" the Ai girls were designed to act like and simulate real female companions with varying degrees of realism. Some acted like you're typical anime love interest, some were even tsundares, and of cores some of them were just straight up sluts.

The head of Joy co, a man named Ryan Cooper was passionate about his work. He prided himself on programming the AI's with in depth and fleshed out personalities to make them feel as real as possible. He obsessed over it really. He wanted nothing more than to make the perfect girl, one who could think and learn. But no matter how much effort he put into it, it seemed he could never completely make them perfect.

But then something weird happened, something not even Cooper could explain. One day he woke up and it was as if someone had uploaded the blueprints to his head. He started working, and later that year he proudly announced the creation of the world's first smart AI He put the AI in his best doll and showed it off at a big event. "Tech-con"

The new AI was a huge hit, with every available unit sold out on the first day. Cooper was quite pleased with himself, but alas they ran into some problems. the new Ai girls weren't obedient like their previous counterparts. In fact one of the sold units put her owner in the hospital. Joy co was in the news constantly the following weeks with people claiming that this was an organized attack or that they had used their sex bots to carry out government assassinations.

Cooper quickly patched the problem, installing a demi brain to control the Ai girls and force them to abide by a strict set of rules, but the damage was done. Joy co's reputation was tarnished. But this wasn't the end of Cooper or his creation. The then leader of Tekeshi Industries came to cooper with a proposition. He would allow Cooper to continue his work of making beautiful android girls, under the condition that he use his new AI to create combat units. The idea seemed absurd at the time, turning sex dolls into military weapons? But anything was better than being jobless and giving up his dream. Cooper accepted and began working on what would come to be known as Project Kamikiri, god slayer!

Cooper was given a new team from Tekeshi Industries staff to work with. the first thing he did was take his leftover Ai girls and programmed them with simple AI's that could shoot targets with common weapons such as 9mm pistols. These tests laid the foundation for everything they did next. Cooper knew it'd be a waste of time putting an advanced smart AI in one of these androids before they were ready. For starters the smart AI's took a lot of energy and needed to charge every 24 hours to keep running. the demi brain only added to it's energy usage, meaning any android he created now would be highly inefficient for combat.

It was clear what he needed to do then, Before cooper could get back to doing what he loved, he needed to fix their power problem. He started working on several designs, using everything from solar power to nuclear fusion without ever having any luck. It was always something, weather the power generated was insufficient or the battery/reactor was simply too large and bulky.

Cooper was frustrated but he never gave up. Eventually he got it in his head to use infinitus energy. He wold have preferred not to use it, due to the cost, but he had no other options left. Cooper started working with the strange materiel It was as if something just clicked in his mind. Cooper worked on his new reactor for two months and finally managed to create something roughly the size of a mid sized computer tower. It was still a little bulky but it was more powerful than anything else he had been able to create and small enough to carry around on your back.

Cooper Created his first test android which he named Genesis. nothing special just an average android girl with a heavy titanium alloy skeleton, smart AI and demi brain for testing. He didn't even bother giving her skin or facial features , at least not yet. He disguised the reactor as a back pack and placed it appropriately on her back to supply her with power. Genesis woke up for the first time. the android was a curious one, always asking more and more questions about the world around her. It was a little annoying but Cooper didn't seem to mind. all he cared about was testing how long she could stay active. Meanwhile he'd work on his next prototype. Much to his delight however Genesis stayed on for days, weeks and months after her first awakening. tings were finally looking up.

The second prototype was finished a few months after the first. It was much smaller than the last, about the size of a baseball. He placed it in Genesis's chest after rewiring her and turned the device back on. It worked well enough but it seemed to be wasting a lot of power. It also created a lot more radiation than it should have.

He worked on the reactor for a few months more, rebuilding his last design from the ground up with everything he learned from the last failure. The final product was a beautiful tennis ball sized reactor the produced zero harmful radiation. It wasn't quite as powerful as his first design, but being as small as it was it was well enough.

With a reactor in hand, Cooper thought he was ready to build an actual assault droid. However he ran into another problem. In the tests he ran with Genesis, the androids were simply too slow. Tetsu youkai's bots were both fast and efficient, even with their clunky movements, but his droids were sloppy and about as fast as a human. There wasn't enough room in their design for bulky hydraulic muscles and what artificial muscle they had was inefficient. Sure they could walk and do regular tasks, but Genesis as a far cry from being a Tetsu Kariudo.

Cooper was greatly troubled by this. Not only was his Genesis much more expensive than a Tetsu Kariudo, but she wasn't nearly as powerful as one. He became discouraged and stopped working on Kamikiri for about a week. He sulked, laid around, brainstormed and then went back to sulking, all until the company caught wind of his laziness. The rather bluntly told him to show them something new or to kiss his job goodbye, luckily he had been sitting on an ace in the hole to keep his ass out of trouble. He showed off the new reactors he had made and sold them to the company who then started producing them and selling them to other companies.

It made the company a ton of money, revolutionized the way people made infinitus reactors and kept Coopers booty out of the frying pan. People started using his reactors in all sorts of things, some companies and government funded projects even made their own versions of his reactor for various different uses. He even had an offer to build a specialized reactor for the space station the government was building. The man building the station was insisting on a much larger and bulkier version of what Cooper had created, but Cooper simply refused. He tried explaining to the man that there was no need for something as huge as a building to power his ship as one of his reactors could easily keep a small city going for years. He also pointed out that having something that huge would throw off the balance of the station itself.

But this builder was a stubborn man, or so it seemed who insisted that it HAD to be that big and that size didn't matter when you're in zero gravity.... And that, that very moment was when it hit him. Cooper blew off the deal with the space station builder who...surprisingly seemed happy about it? Cooper rushed back to his lab and got to work on a new device that would solve all of his problems.

The Automatic Graviton Manipulation Apparatus, or AGMA for short, was designed for and controlled by the smart AI's too allow them to manipulate gravitons and gravity waves within a certain range of space. Particularly the space that the new android bodies assumed. The first prototype for AGMA took a year to build. It was a small 8x8x8 room in which the AI could move the androids through the air. After proving it could be done he spent the rest of his time working on a smaller version that would allow the androids the mobility they required.

The timing couldn't be more perfect either. The infinite soldiers in America had just defeated the sen kai bots and crushed their progress towards esper extinction in the west. Project Kamikiri started ramping up production of new androids, most of which cooper designed himself. Cooper would build the first unit of each new model himself, and as promised the head of Tekeshi Industries allowed him to build them to his specifications. He made the first unit of every model special in that they were fully anatomically correct with detailed vaginas and breasts. They even had built in stimulation sensors that let them feel pleasure and reach climax exactly the way a real girl would. however this was limited to ONLY the first unit of each model. This was to be a secret between the head of the company and cooper himself.
