    how are these things working?

    Is it a manual control via pulleys and cables?

    What degree of tech is being used here?

    ...are you going to say its vents that have like some sort of crystal/stone thing that grants its ability to hover?

    That would be...counter to their high tech motif.

    If they have computers and communicators and such

    why would they use something so primitive and ineffective on their hovercraft?

      Magitech. It's not primitive at all. It's highly effective versus using a big battery to power the motor. Why would you go the advanced route if the simpler route doesn't have too many drawbacks?

          People controlling the output of focus. As Revere killed the one that was handling the hover function, the whole ship is going to tumble down to earth.

              Just like how you would control any other type of magic. It's just like I said about the formula for the power of a mage. Enviroment * mage power. In this instance, they just have a really advantageous environment, allowing them to do very strong magic.

                So the person controlling each hovercraft has to focus on controlling the hovercraft? Wouldn't they be affected by distractions and such?

                    I think you misunderstood the power of light. It's so bright that you can literally just see white. You can't see anything else, no people, no hovercraft, nothing. Another fact is that the only reason that the light and sound faded was because of the people that was sent down controlled the focuses so they wouldn't go crazy.

                      Alright, so I have modified a little how I distribute knolwedge. The knowledges are now divided into different topics which have requirement. Mostly, the actual information is the same. There are a few new ones however. These are
                      • Lake of time
                      • Gravefire (common knowledge, nearly everyone have it)
                      • The Great Gravefire
                      • Not sure if I mentioned itm but there is, and have been for some time a list over types of beasts there are and types of races(intelligent) there are
                      • Máttur, the floating city and
                        Spoiler:

                      • Requirement for knowledge of electricity changed, it can now also use the magic type electricity (duh)

                        The blinding light occurred and Revere took Selene and began running South West.

                        1:02 AM
                        Revere Began carrying Selene and turned North West

                        1:05 AM
                        They are still heading North West.
