Mt. Chimney Summit
"Alright, that's enough moping around," Juri muttered as she stood up from her rock. She arched her back and stretched before turning to her partner. "You and I have work to do. Come on, follow me."
The Purloin was hesitant to follow, but in the end she hopped off of the rocks near the volcano and followed her master. Their talk had ended on a bittersweet note with rekindled trust. Juri would not promise that she would stop killing or using violence to reach her goals, and Ripley was vehemently against working for Team Magma if this was the case. Regardless of what either one of them thought, they both worked for a shifty organization that required them to do things they did not want to do. They had no choice but to follow through on their orders until Juri found the answers she was looking for.
Juri stopped in the middle of a wide expanse of land and opened her arms wide.
"Here we are. I want to get some training in before we head back."
"I thought we were going to have some free time?" Ripley replied.
"This is our free time. You and I are going to have to get better at handling pokemon battles if we want to get any further. As such, I need to see what you're capable of." Juri turned on her heel and gestured to herself. It appeared that she was painting herself as a target. "See if you can tackle me to the ground."
"I don't know about this..."
"Come on, get rid of that pent up aggression and take it out on me."
When Juri put it that way, Ripley figured it was too good of an opportunity to miss. She hunched down and lurched forward to try and tackle the woman down, but Juri darted out of the way and clicked her tongue in disapproval. The two would continue doing this for some time before moving onto other training regimens.
