    Trinity Soul University - Entrance

Cecilia beamed before becoming worried, frowning and fiddling her thumbs together. Suddenly, she exclaimed in a rushed tone, "Ah, well, you see, I arrived late, as always... I was just going to see if I missed anything important! Haha, if my dad was here, he'd be yelling at me for sure! Oh geez, how rude of me, rambling without giving a proper introduction! I'm Cecilia Leblanc, a half witch!" She took a deep breath. "Nice to meet you all!" She smiled again, taking a deep breath before turning to the headmaster, continuing in a more relaxed tone. "Ah, headmaster, I didn't miss anything besides the bus, right?"

The Headmaster quickly turned his attention to Cecilia and beamed a warm smile before speaking.

"No. Not yet you haven't. Though I suggest you please hurry into the Lobby of the Main Building to fill out some remaining forms and get your dorm key. I really do recommend that those of you that still do not yet have their dorm keys to quickly go fill out the forms! Student Orientation is starting soon after all!" The Headmaster replied as he then turned his attention to Trista.

"Why yes I do practice Light Magic. In fact I am the teacher of all classes related to Light Magic here. As for your magic... that depends... what is your magic type... I can feel a faint... energy coming from your body. It's weak, but it is there. In fact there is something else about you that seems familiar... Tell you what, after you get settled in why don't you come visit me in my office? After Student Orientation is over with that is. I do apologize that I cannot help you at the current time with that question."
The Headmaster spoke in a softer tone to Trista, obviously he was at least somewhat aware of Trista's nervousness. After all being in the teaching business for most of your life, you do learn to read and recognize a situation, and right now he can tell that in the current situation Trista is visibly and audibly nervous.

Sensing her nervousness he patted her on the back.

"Now listen you four. I do need to actually hurry and get back to work soon. So if you all need any help with anything at all, just come by my office. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go and take care of some other business... Unless you currently need help with some luggage or anything that is... Do you young kids need anything?"

Cecilia shook her head, giving a small curtsy, gently pulling at the frills of her dress. "Thank you very much, headmaster, sir! I'll be sure to fill out those forms very quickly before orientation starts!" She grabbed her bags, smiling brightly. "Does anyone want to come along with me?" She looks to the others, tilting her head, her bangs getting into one of her eyes. "We should all go together, you know, if you don't mind?"

          Mira stood upright.

"Good morning, sir! Is here something you needed of me?" She asked the headmaster, slightly nervous.

          Allen looked at Mira.

"... Mira, something wrong with you? You look nervous. Is it because the Headmaster is here?"

Mira stood still, not to make a response to Allen, awaiting a response -- rather a command -- from the headmaster. Allen shrugged his shoulders.

"Hey, Lily, I'm gonna go get my room key. Are you coming?"

Trista was surprised to find out that not only was this old man a skilled Light Mage but in fact the teacher of Light Magic in the university. If Trista knew anything, she wouldn't be surprised to find herself taught by him. Although Trista had to remind herself that, while she produced a light of her own, it may not be the same as that of which this man specialises in. In listening to the teacher that stood before her, she could help but feel slightly unnerved by the fact that not only could the man sense Trista's magic, albeit faintly, but Trista supposed reminded him of someone. Did this teacher know something about her? Or was it that her appearance reminded him of an old accomplice? Regardless, Trista would only have her questions answered later in the day when she would visit the teacher's office.

Shortly after the teacher addressed Trista, she heard another voice speak up. A calm and pleasant feminine voice emanating from neither the blonde nor the older woman but from another girl. As Trista looked towards the source of the voice, she saw a much taller girl with fair brown hair and blue-green eyes. But as she spoke, several things caught Trista off-guard.
"Thank you very much, headmaster, sir!" Trista heard the girl say.
Headmaster... Trista was shocked. Trista had been speaking with more than just a Light Magic teacher but she was speaking to the headmaster himself. At first glances, Trista would not have guessed that this old man was the headmaster of the university. A teacher, sure, but the headmaster? This had Trista surprised. More so than what would be expected.

With the revelation aside and Trista's business with the headmaster postponed, the young girl spoke up and proposed that everyone within the immediate vicinity would join her in heading to the Reception while she completed her forms and collected her supplies. Although Trista didn't want the girl to get angry at her for leaving her behind, Trista simply did not wish to stay around any longer. As Trista stood amongst this crowd of strangers, Trista became worried. Not only had she left her roommate behind but she was in a position that she truly was not comfortable in.

"I..." Trista attempted to speak up in response to the girl's proposal, as hesitant and as coy she may have been, "I... I-I'm... sorry..." Without much more of a word, Trista hurriedly departed the scene and began to look for her vampiric roommate.

              TSU-En route to Entrance

Hecate hurried along the path that led towards the main building. She wondered if she was late as quite some time had passed since the announcement was made. She had been eating when the announcement came and had quickly finished up her meal. But her reason was for being late was because she had to double back for her small bag of belongings that she had left behind. This was now clutched in her hand as she got closer to her destination with the stray thought that she had yet to check out her room.

When she arrived at the entrance, she found a large crowd and tensed thinking the orientation had started. She looked around and noticed the man who had introduced himself as the headmaster earlier talking to a few other students, she then relaxed slightly realising most of the students were just aimlessly milling around and the orientation probably wouldn't start without the headmaster. She remained standing at the edge of the crowd looking lost. She felt uneasy about the large number of people around and impatiently waited for orientation to start.

                Underground Library

Elkana woke up. She was lying on a red velvet couch with a sleek modern table next to it. Looming over her was a tree of enormous length and thickness, its ancient bark hard as steel, its heavy branches drooping down and forming its own canopy. The tree, the couch, and the table all were located on a decently-sized islet: one of many islets that were in this Underground Library. The islets were mostly separated by shallow bits of water that reached up to Elkana's knees, although some have, naturally or artificially, been connected. Near the giant tree fell a giant waterfall, dropping clear, emerald-hued water from the skies above.

This, to many, would be paradise. A large area, all by your own self, with beautiful nature scenery with more than enough supplies to sustain a living. But to Elkana, this was ordinary life. Of course it would be, she was here for at least 200 years.

Elkana rose from the couch she was sleeping on and walked towards the backside of the tree. Opposite to where the couch is stood a small alchemy workshop, with potions of varying colors stored in flasks, completely unmoving, simmering, or outright boiling. The potions were heated by a large burner powered by arcane fuel, emitting absolutely no smoke or fume that could pollute the extremely clean air of the Underground Library.

"About half a day and it'll be done." Elkana said to herself as she observed a bright red potion simmering in the flask, then stepped away from the workshop towards the vast expanse of the Underground Library.

About 200 years ago, the genius student Elkana discovered by accident the Underground Library. Education in the early days of Trinity Soul University was disorganized without curriculum, and Elkana found the classes boring. But here, she could study any variety of magic she wants, at the pace that she wants, with the peace and quiet that she needed. Elkana abandoned her boring life in the overworld and settled down in this new secret area she called home. And now two centuries passed, and Elkana, now practically immortal due to the exposure to a conglomeration of ancient, forgotten magic, still studying and experimenting in the infinite sea of magic. What was lost was her humanity and her dignity, but it was, to her, a small price to pay.

Elkana wandered aimlessly from islet to islet. It was what she would do when she's brainstorming for things to do, experiments to perform. Elkana was more than a human: she was the epitome of perfect magical being: alluring and graceful. Her olive green hair, untended to for centuries, drooped all the way to her ankles, with the tips always submerged in water whenever she traveled to and fro islets. She used to wear glasses, but exposure to variety of magics enhanced her vision so that she never needs it anymore; she just wears it out of habit. What was forgotten by Elkana instead was the importance of wearing clothes, showing off her figure for no one to see.

Something was off, and Elkana felt it. She approached an islet that had a large golden globe-like object that represented the most magically advanced calendar and realized what day it was. This was the day that Elkana first attended Trinity Soul University, 200 years ago.

"How nostalgic." Elkana said in a flat, deadpan manner. The age of human emotion and memory was past for Elkana.

Then suddenly, an idea for experiment hit Elkana. A little... coming out, per say, for Elkana, to the outside world after 200 years of abandonment.

"This'll be great for wasting time until the potion is done." Elkana said to herself, chuckling at the deviousness of her little plan, and set off to find an empty islet to start the experiment.

The Headmaster just smiled after letting out a small sigh upon seeing Trista run off, and Cecilia's energetic nature.

[B]"Ah kids these days... you never know what to expect from each batch of new students each year." The Headmaster said as he turned to look at Mira, of whom he just noticed.

"Oh hello Mira. Please do not mind me. I was just here to help some of the new students, but it looks like they do not need much of my help after all. Though there is still something you can do for me... I had lost a rather important book earlier, and god knows how busy I am. Do you suppose you could help me find it? It's somewhere in my office. Just be sure to look around. You cannot miss it. Anyways goodbye for now! I better get ready for Student Orientation!" Spoke the Headmaster as he calmly turned around. With his hands behind his back, he casually walked off. Occasionally waving hello to any passing students.

After the Headmaster left, Lily turned to Allen. "Oh yes please. I really should go and fetch my room key in the main office." Lily replied in her soft, kind, and caring voice towards Allen. Without hesitation she placed her hand on Allen's shoulder. "Lead the way." She spoke with a girlish giggle, all the while grasping onto Allen's shoulder so he could help guide her to the main office.

Trinity Soul University - Campus Grounds - Near Shopping District

Jason was beginning to get somewhat confused about Cale's random wandering as he followed him in circles, occasionally catching the boy's peripheral gaze fall onto him. He could have sworn that the boy was heading to the dorms, but it seemed as if his apparent roommate-to-be was perfectly content with roaming the grounds. Of course, once he saw what he could only imagine to be stores, resturants, and shopping centers in the distance, he knew that they boy knew that he was following him. Just then, Jason spoke out to Cale.

"So I take it you know I'm following you.", Jason calmly called out to Cale, who was about 60 or 70 feet away.

Trinity Soul University - Under a shady tree near the entrance.

As Seki waited she listened to Trista's conversation with the headmaster from a far. She hadn't intended on ease dropping, but the prior mention of her name had caught her attention and it was difficult to ignore. She was very curious now about what sort of magic her room mate actually held, it seemed like she had some alteration of light magic. This reminded her once again about how Trista seemed to be her opposite in every way.

Finally Trista had left the other group of people and had come running towards Seki's direction. It wouldn't take long for even a human to spot the vampire whom was resting in the shade. When the girl finally reached her Seki stood again giving a slight yawn before greeting her roommate again. She felt kinda bad for nt staying by her side the whole time but all this time in the sunlight was starting to irritate her skin a little. "you didn't think i would leave without you did you?" Said the vampire in hopes the girl would understand why she chose to wait beneath the tree.

"Nothing." Zero said replying to Raylin. Then the Orientation announcement came through. "That's our cue I guess." Amata said as he stood up and headed towards the door. "Hey! wait for your sister!" Raylin said in a little bit of a raised voice catching up to Amata. Zero shook his head. "Still the same." He said as he went to the door and locked it as they all left the room.

The annoucement for the Orientation came through and Johnathan excused himself. Sonya bowed to the man as he left. "We better get going too." She said looking at Kris while her inner thoughts said "When will I be able to shower?" in a crying sad tone and heading towards the Orientation.

                        TSU - Garden Area

Sleeping peacefully in a curled up position was a somewhat tanned girl. She was hugging a long object that was wrapped in a long cloth with one end having a cresent-like end to it. The annoucement for Orientation came through and woke the girl up. ".......... noisy." She said as she opens her eyes and sits up. She sees other students heading towards somewhere and she tilts her head in confusión.

Trista was surprised to see that Seki had not completely departed the scene and had instead took shelter under a nearby tree. While Trista would be curious as to why that would be the case but she immediately had to remind herself of one simple fact. Seki was not human. She was a vampire. And, if Trista knew anything about vampires, it was that they despised sunlight. To see a vampire taking shelter in the shade made plenty of sense but why was it that Seki lingered around the nearby tree instead of seeking the indoors? Was it that Seki cared Trista? Was it that she was merely waiting on Trista and was simply putting up with her? Or was it that Seki attempted to listen in on Trista's conversation? To Trista, she had no idea. Her trust towards Seki still wavered and she still had yet to believe the vampire's words.

"I-I don't... know..." Trista honestly replied. As she gave her response, Trista remembered one simple thing that the headmaster mentioned while they were discussing the ball of light. Seki was one of the people who also gave chase to the thing. And given the fact that the headmaster knew Seki's name, he had obviously spoken to her prior to meeting Trista. If this were the case, surely Seki knew the headmaster in some way.
"Seki, do you... d-do you know the... h-headmaster?" Trista asked Seki in her curiosity.

Cecilia winked before collecting her bags and started to skip away to the main office, excited to get her dorm key. She was hoping for a roommate that could keep up with her energy, and one that could most certainly forgive her clumsiness.

Arriving inside shortly, Cecilia beamed at the receptionist, putting her bags down beside her feet. "Hi! I'm here to get my dorm room! Uhm, do I need to fill out any forms?" She started to rock back and forth happily. She couldn't wait to find out who her roommate would be. She glanced around the main office, admiring everything in it, even down to the color of the walls.

"Hardly. I was able to catch his little ball of light and I've had a few short conversations with him here and there. It seemed like he was able to see and hear everything that happened to the ball as he controlled it. Almost like a crystal ball. That level of control from such a distance, even while focusing on other students and answering their questions. Undoubtedly the work of a master." Seki could only ponder what the elderly man wold be capable with 100% of his attention focused into a magic spell. Compared to him Seki could only maintain magic for a short amount of time without having direct contact with the magic itself. After being lost n thought for a few short moments she remembered what the headmaster had told her. "Anyway we should get settled into our room before orientation starts."
