I actually had an interesting thought in mind.
What if John were to get stabbed through the torso, but spin around and impale the Devourer on his own sword?
That would be one way to kill him, right?

What if John were to create pockets of darkness inside of the Devourer's blood vessels, like the ones in his brain.
John would starve the Devourer's brain of oxygen and he would pass out.
Would that work?
