Hey wriggle. Zommari just crashed in in the middle of your fight. Note: Gluttoneriel had never seen Zommari in his angel form. Not his black angel form, but his white angel form.

I'm back from the doctor. Apparently the doctor said I do have an irregular heart beat right now, but it's nothing too major as of the moment. He just wants me to take things really easy, and relax. If anything else comes up he wants me to let him know.

Anyways Chung is capable of firing missiles, and blasts of energy from his Destroyer.

@SUSTIC

Welcome back! Sit back and relax.:p

High powered missiles and energy blasts would work.

Their energy shields are "weak" to plasma, while the armor is weak to piercing weapons/explosives.

I would say that Chung and Vergil could stand up to a Spartan, but Chung wouldn't be able to keep up with their speed. Only Vergil has the speed and strength to go toe to toe against a Spartan-V.

Also Vergil's weapon the Yamato would be of significant use against a Spartan. Just due to it's pure demonic power and the fact that it can cut through just about anything could allow it to cut through a Spartan's armor.

Do you really think I'm that stupid? *Walks into a door* Okay maybe I am that stupid...

Well Robin Would stand a chance too ya know >:V
Take the way Validar fights in this clip:

watch how Validar counter's chroms swordplay. He uses his magic to practically grab the sword. And Robin deflected Validar's attack with a bolt of Thoron. so using that knowledge I would think Robin could hold his own in melee especially considering the fact he has a sword he can use as well. If I say he uses the Brave Sword, then his melee is faster.

I feel like I should have went with the Deadly Chaser. He seems like he would be good somewhat in support, but even more so in direct attack.

The Deadly Chaser wields not only a Destroyer (though a weaker one than the Tactical Troopers) he also wields two revolvers called the Silver Shooters. The powerful bullets launched from the pair of Silver Shooters overwhelm their enemies and diminish their morale even before they sense Chung's presence. When opponents see the light ahead, they quickly find themselves looking up at the sky. This new method of fighting gave Chung the image of an "Assassin" rather than a "Guardian". From then on, people began to call Chung -- the tracker of death, the one who can hide even his shadow, the Deadly Chaser! Also the Silver Shooter can also pierce any enemy within its long reach. He would be much faster than the Tactical Trooper (and due to the fact that he also wields the Destroyer still as a Deadly Chaser he still has his strength.) The Deadly Chaser is more of a sniper for a group than anything.

Just remember a Spartan's reaction time.

The good thing is, they're not Spartan-IIs, which can react 75 times faster than a human.

Spartan-Vs are a little bit slower and weaker.

That being said, I've always wondered this.

Would the Yamato be able to cut through a Spartan's bones?:confused:

They're said to be virtually indestructible. The bones are tough, but also very heavy, which means that they would make poor armor. That's probably the reason why Spartans are so heavy without their suits.

The Yamato might be able to cut through a Spartan's bones if Vergil is in Devil Trigger and puts a lot of demonic power behind a slash. Though if it was Sparda (Vergil and Dante's father) wielding the Yamato then he could probably easily just slash right through a Spartan's bones with ease if he had the Yamato. Hell Sparda might not even need the Yamato, instead he could probably use the Sword of Sparda (AKA the Force Edge) which is one of the strongest Devil Arms said to be in the game as it is a blade infused with Sparda's power.

@Cucoo

Son of a b*tch...:(

Fixed to spare everyone the pain of imagining Spartans killing people with their "swords"...

@Mega

Imagine Vergil's surprise if the Yamato bounced off the Spartan's head and the Spartan let out a flurry of curses and shouts as he weld the wound.:p
