I don't know what came over me yesterday. I guess I had a major anxiety breakdown. My friend who got in a car accident is, fortunately, recovering at a pace that would probably get him hospitalized for a week, but at least he's ok. And seems like my gf's assortments of pills didn't kill me.

I'll try to stop controlling other characters in RP (If I do, please do warn me about it, and I'll edit the post if the story hasn't advanced too far), but try to post here asking for the character owner to do something for me. Like, in that deleted post, the French Espionage Organization members were gathering to find out what this Unknown massacres are about, and I wanted to incite Remilia to attack them. I wanted to get Lydia as the captain of the Neo-Yakuza in the Kawaguchi District, and the only way to actually get there was either from Mima or Leon. About these, I'll post on this thread or PM them directly, asking them to post something along the lines of that if they have no objection to it.

Other than that, I still want to make side character storylines as reserve for when the main storyline folks are out, like Kristia is right now. If I can just do that, then I can manage not taking ownership of other characters.

P.S.: I looked up Recette...

I WANT TO PLAY THAT GAME

The point of having Remilia start out in extremely rural France was intentional because any incidents that would happen there would take time, if ever, to reach any sort of government organization. I didn't just pick up a map, point, and say "there!". I've actually thought out geography, distance, population densities and the like while making the posts to be as accurate to the real location and so that the character movements make sense. (Eg, going from New York to LA to Houston to Boston would make no sense) That being said, any sort of government organization that would have the power to intercept Remilia wouldn't hear about most incidents for nearly a week, for example, and therefore their mobilization would be slow. However, the farther north you travel from the Ausvergne region of France, the higher the population density became, resulting in faster reactions from the local authorities (First local military outposts responded, the cathedral with single tank and hundred soldiers. The second, an airforce base intercepting her as she approached Paris) As mentioned, JJ and I are coordinating movements and the idea right now is that because the french govies back in Paris received the word so late, they're going to be trying to hold more of a defensive front near Paris, rather than going way out to greet her when she's already travelling north.

If you don't mind, I had the French Espionage Organization prepare a trap for Remilia near the outskirts of Paris. The current enemies that Remilia is fighting are just the normal french military acting in self-defense, I assume. The organization is much more prepared for the attack as they have figured out that the massacres were caused by a Vampire Character, and are taking the necessary precautions.

Edit: Goddamnit Remi. You beat me to it.

Yeah, like Jaeyjay said, the FEO has more connection across the France a lot better than the French Government is, enabling them to prepare for an attack better than the Government.

Just for the record, this is currently the agents getting ready to intercept Remilia:

Spy - TF2 - Was there ever any doubt?
Fiora - League of Legends - I long for a worthy opponent.
Abel - Street Fighters - You're strong! You'd make quite a mercenary.
Sam Fisher - Splinter Cells - Just making sure he wasn't suffering.
Two random French agents - Will get killed by Remilia.

Addition of Abel will change FEO's name into French Espionage & Character Recruitment Organization, also known as FECRO.

Eh... that's a bit too many. If we go with the ideology that a character should be par with other characters, that is a bit too overwhelming of a force. Rather, have like ~20-30 normal agents and only one of the Characters will lead them. Most of the agents will die and there will be a kind of showdown between Remilia and the Character.

I'm fine with a showdown, but I was thinking of Remi in France more as a prologue to the true objective JJ and I are going for in terms of story. That being said, after our little fiasco near Paris, Remi's likely to never be in France again. That in mind, I didn't really want to develop too much of a "face" for the FEO, since they're likely to never appear again.

edit: After a quick discussion, JJ and I think the Spy will suffice for the Character that leads the normal (elite?) agents. After a quick scuffle between the total FEO force and Remi, all of the non-Character members of the FEO force will be neutralized, leading to a showdown between the Spy and Remi. That said, Remi's going through some inner monologue moments right now, questioning why she's killing so many people for no reason. When she tries to kill the last FEO agent that's not the Spy, she'll have a tiny moment of hesitation, giving the Spy enough time to shoot her with a silver bullet. After that, she'll be fazed, causing her to let more hits in from the Spy. Finally, the Spy will manage to throw in a stab, nearly killing Remilia, but just missing anything too important to let her escape. After that, again, Remi's probabyl never coming back to France. (We'll be devving Snake and Recette's side so that Remi will eventually meet up with those two.)

Gah, sorry, I forgot to mention. They are a hit-team, not an entire army. Sort of like Elites.

Seeing how the words of hundreds being murdered by Remilia must've incited them to send in so many Characters at once.

Edited my last post.

Again, it wouldn't make sense to introduce so many new characters who are likely never going to appear again. Besides, you already control three main characters. It wouldn't make sense to add on another five for no better reason than to have a tiny scuffle with Remi.

edit: Those hundreds murdered by Remi are either civs or standard military personell, not elite trained like that of the FEO.

Actually I control 1 main which is Yuuka. Nitori and the Spy is extremely minor. It's like you controlling Snake and Remilia, having Snake as your main and having Remilia do something else while you wait for Recette.
