He put the gun away, but HM can still pull the gun out.

A first aid spray is an item in the Resident Evil series that can heal a character to full health. Even if it doesn't it will still act like one hell of an anesthetic.
Fixed, can't think straight right now. I have a slight headache. Anyways my question still stands.
What would John do if he encountered Nemesis? Then much later he encountered a whole army... that or 4-5 of them, each equipped with a Gatling Gun, or Rocket Launcher.

He would probably kill the single Nemesis without too much trouble, but it would still be a pain.
A group of them would be a different story.
John would probably hide from the guns and try to trick them into wasting their ammo.
He would have to separate them and pick them off one by one. A group is muck harder, too many tentacles.
