Yea, I was thinking if John and Renamon's plans don't work, then I'll have John climb into the Extractor's reactor and destroy it from the inside. He was also going to ask Patchouli, Byahuren, Mima, and Reimu for various heat resistant buffs, enchantments, transmutations, and amulets.
He was going to try and feed the reactors power back into itself, causing it to overload and explode.
Either that, or he destroys important parts inside of the reactor, maybe use Corridors of Darkness to clip them off.
Of course, that's only if their other plans don't work.:p

If worse comes to worse, Isaac has the technology to regrow limbs.
Med Packs. They practically bring people back from the brink of death. Incredibly powerful stuff. If it has to do with Ran's tails, it's either a matter of hunting for her tails, or Isaac working his magic.
Of course, It would probably take a large Med Pack to regrow limbs.
It's either that, or they use regenerative magic.
I guess we can only wait and see...

It's either that, or he creates a weak black hole out of his darkness magic.
Even Ansem might be afraid of him afterwards.
