Sewers, near ground level - Melun - France

Remilia continued laughing. She couldn't believe how well that had just gone. The boxes had just went flying like rag dolls! She couldn't stop her laughing. It was just too perfect. She leaned against the wall, trying to catch her breath. That was arguably one of the best experiences Remilia had gone through in the past year. But at the same time, she didn't think she had felt this exhausted in the past year. She was drained. She had little energy left after having pulled out one of her most formidable spellcards while in an already weakened state.

Still breathing heavily from trying to catch her breath, Remilia grinned. She grinned, but she soon wiped it off her face as she heard a peculiar sound coming from behind her. It was like somebody was letting a large blanket slide off of them or something similar. Remilia turned her head around just in time to see a masked man with cigarette hanging out of his mouth materialize out of thin air with a knife raised into the air.

Though weak and exhausted, Remilia's reflexes were still in working order. As the man lunged down where her back had been exposed, Remilia dropped down to the ground and kicked the man's leg out from under him. The man fell to the ground, groaning in pain as he clutched he knees. Adrenaline rushing yet again and reflex kicking in, Remilia immediately ran for the hole she had created earlier. The darkness of the sewers might shield her from any prying eyes, but it would also keep her eyes away from those that might be hiding in wait for her. At least the open grounds were her home territory with speed and agility on her side.

Remilia looked up towards the sky from the bottom of the hole she had created. She braced her foot on the concrete ground in the sewer as she kick up and jumped back out of the hole.

The spy continued going around, asking soldiers and any straggling civilians if they had seen the devil anywhere. Though he didn't have the faintest clue on where she was, he knew that she was close. He could feel it. He pulled out his butterfly knife and started twirling it around to make himself calm down. She had to be near. He just knew it.

As if on cue, the moment he thought that, he heard a loud explosion not far off. Looking up into the sky, the Spy was horrified to see a huge red cross appear in the middle of the day with a red whirlpool of magical energy form around it, sending two objects he couldn't quite make out flying across the sky.

The spy started running towards the cross.

Thank you Lord Massa.
Can you take care of Fiora for me too? :3

Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, the next day
"Hey, Nitori, your groceries for the week." Rody said as he entered Nitori's tiny shop. Nitori was sitting on a chair, sleeping.
"Nitori?" Nitori was motionless.
"NITORI!" Rody's shouting awoke Nitori.
"Ah, good morning, Rody. How are you?"

"Here's your groceries for this week. Also, some white men were looking for you." Rody said as he dropped the groceries on the corner. "They're outside my house."
"Looking for me?" Nitori asked. "What could they possibly want?"

"Scarlet devil: scarlet devil". The shout rung through the Commander's head as one of his "Bouncers" picked up and relayed the odd verbal activity to him. He quickly turned around to face his mech, and the three tanks behind it. "He-hey. whats wrong?" the still confused medic asked. "That girl is not dead yet" he replied, readying himself to jolt back to his mech. "You mean the Scarlet Devil? This is too much for me, man!"
(Scarlet Devil, huh?) The name echoed through his head, and once again he was reminded of the KROGOTH super-mech.

The Commander turned to the medic and said "Get this woman to a safe area. This place is going to turn into hell in a few seconds" and bolted towards his command mech. Just as he did so a giant crimson cross towered above the area behind the mech, and he could see the Demolisher and one of the Bouncers flung off in random directions. (There goes four hours worth of resources.)

After entering his command mech and sitting in his chair, the Commander started issuing out orders to his two remaining units. The Remaining bouncer, still right behind him, retreated into the city, wile the Revolver helicopter was put on standby in a secret location, ready to fire on command.

Turned around and facing the newly created hole in the ground, the Commander noticed the "Scarlet Devil" emerge out of the hole in the ground, laughing maniacally. lucky for him, she was facing the opposite direction, and was too obsessed with her wounds. (Good. This makes things easier.) he thought to himself.

"Hey, Scarlet Devil, was it?" the commander shouted through the mech's external speakers at the power tripping girl, now aware of his presence. "If you cease and desist, and promise not to harm any more civilians, I'll let you live."

(Could... could this woman treated by medic be my dear Fiora? :D)

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

The two men identified themselves as FBI agents. Nitori had no idea what FBI was, but seeing that they carried guns and walkie-talkie made them look like important government agents. Maybe they're one of those Neo-Yakuza thing that people has been talking about...?
"Miss Nitori Kawashiro...?" One of the FBI agents, one with short red hair, asked. Both agents were at least a foot taller than Nitori, making her feel vulnerable.
"Yeah, that's my name..." Nitori fidgeted as another agent, with longer, brown hair, took notes on his notepad. "Can I help you?"
"We are from the FBI." The red-haired agent showed some sort of shiny badge. Of course, Nitori had no idea what was going on. "We would like to discuss about an important aspect as a Character. Can we enter?"
"Hah?" Nitori was confused with these men, but she quickly grasped the situation. "Uh, my shop is very cramped... I doubt either one of you could fit..."
"We still must take this to a private location. Do you have any other location with more space?" The red-haired agent asked.
"I do know of a place." Rody spoke from inside the shop, with his head popping out of the door. "But I doubt you agents will be welcomed."

Public Park - Tokyo - Japan
__________________________

As the helicopter eventually makes it over Tokyo, Japan the pilot positions the helicopter over the park. "Okay X time for deployment." Said the pilot as X looks out the Helicopter and nods. X then jumps out of the helicopter, aiming for a clearing in the park to land. Thanks to the Gyroscopic Stabilization System, and his titanium interior skeleton built into his body he was able to land cleanly and safely on the ground. As he lands he looks up at the helicopter, and places his hand a button on the side of his helmet. He pushes the button and begins speaking. "The drop off was successful, but I don't think it would be easy for me to 'lay low' after everyone seen a blue robot jump out of a helicopter high up in the air..." Said X as the pilot flies off, back to the military base.

(A smoke screen? Didn't that tactic become obsolete?) the commander laughed as he switched to his precise radar view. The smile dissipated from his face quickly though. Millions of tiny yellow dots, projectiles, were heading towards him. But he decided to wait. As the tiny bullets slowly collided with his mech's body they fizzled and dissolved. Quick look at his damage report clarified that it was damaging him, but minimally.

"If my command mech wasn't able to take a thousand shots like these all at once it wouldn't have lasted the first day in my world. You're going to have to use something stronger" he said coldly. "Now its my turn."

The Revolver flew over and past the mist, then turned around to face the weakened Devil. "Fire at will." the commander ordered, as the Energy pellet machine gun rained down a storm of unstable energy spheres on the Devils radar position.

(yes, wriggle that is Fiora. and that is not Medic, but A medic. theres a difference.)

"Where the hell did this thing come from?!" screamed a man in a suit at a room of people scrambling around between computers. Warning alarms were going off like crazy throughout the entire facility. "The current path means that it came from the other side of the Moon sir, but we have no idea where it came from before that. It was just 'there'." responded a guy running between several workstations.

"ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT METEOR IS A GOD DAMN GAME CHARACTER?!?!" bellowed Suit at the others, "SOMETHING THAT SIZE CAN'T JUST APPEAR OUT OF THIN AIR IN AN INSTANT!"

"It could have spent months, maybe years, hiding behind the Moon while it fully materialized." replied Guy as he was typing furiously at a computer. "What we do know is that it's going to hit the Earth in minutes and it's definitely steering itself."

"Where the hell is this thing going and what the hell is it?"

"We're still working on a projected trajectory, but satellite images have been cross-referenced against all known game characters. There is only one possible match for something of that size: The Zerg Overmind. It came from a RTS from the 90s. The profile states it as a terrifying and ruthless amalgamation of biologically advanced, arthropodal aliens. Dedicated to the pursuit of genetic perfection, the zerg relentlessly hunt down and assimilate advanced species across the galaxy, incorporating useful genetic code into their own. As it consumes more biomass, the Swarm grows and grows."

"This THING devours people to create more of itself? How the hell do you kill it?"

"You can't just shoot it to death. In it's game, the Overmind was destroyed by nothing short of a cataclysm of raw energy being thrown at it. And even when it was destroyed, the remaining Zerg were able to create a new one. In order to kill it for sure, you have to kill every single Zerg. Many of which, could be scattered across the planet when this thing hits the atmosphere."

"So it's almost unkillable? Do we at least know where it's headed so that we can scorch it when it lands?"

"Yes sir, and you're going to love this. Early trajectory predictions place it's landing site somewhere in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest, one of the largest concentrations of biomass on the planet."

Several minutes later

A shockwave echoed across most of South America, similar to a minor earthquake. Anyone watching the middle of the Amazon Rainforest would have had one hell of a sight.

Withing minutes, the surrounding area hosted a much different sound than the usual birds and beasts. All that was heard was a never-ending charge of feet and scales as the Swarm devoured all nearby biomass.

The Swarm was here.

Madame Christina's Jazz Bar, Rio De Jainero, Brazil

Rody led Nitori and the two FBI agents to the busy streets of Rio. The environment of the streets, unlike yesterday, was... colder. The kids stopped playing and looked at the agents. Brazilian locals either stared or frowned at the agents. The foreigners, although not as hostile as the locals, still kept their distance.

"Please do excuse us, agents." Rody explained. "The Brazilian locals of Rio does not like the authorities from Estados Unidos da América."
"No matter." The red-haired agent muttered. "We're not here for vacations. We're here for business."
"Right you are." Rody whispered to himself as he stopped at building. The building was nothing too special, except for the bright neon sign that said JAZZ. "Here we are, gentlemen."
The party entered the bar. The bar had few people inside, rowdily drinking, playing cards, chattering. When the agents entered the bar, however, the building grew slightly silent, as the people inside the bar glanced at the entrance of the bar. Once the agents sat down on the chair facing the bartender, they continued their rowdy roughhousing.
The madam at the bar table was a middle-aged Brazilian woman, well-built and independent. She was smoking a cigarette, and her hands were on the process of cleaning cups and mugs. Behind her was an array of liquor from all over the world, from Sake to Vodka.
"Hello, gentlemen. Good to see you too, Rody. What can I get you?" The madam greeted.
"Not here to drink, Madame Christina." Rody laughed as he stepped back to the entrance. "I have to get to work. I'll be back at dinnertime."
"Alright. Have fun with your work." Madame Christina waved at Rody as Rody stepped out the door. "How can I help you folks?"
"We're not here to have a friendly conversation, nor are we here to drink." The red-haired agent showed his badge, which made Madame sulk. However, when the brown-haired man mentioned that he was hungry, Madame smiled.
"I'll prepare some Nachos then. You Americanos must like them, right?" Madame said, and turned to Nitori. "How about you, jovem?"
"I could use some Nachos too, thanks." Nitori giggled. Madame went behind the array of liquor to prepare the dish.
"Now, Miss Kawashiro." The red-haired agent turned to Nitori. "Your prowess as an engineer and a mechanic seems to have earned you considerable fame. One of our agent said about you fixing his wristwatch in matter of minutes."
So that man must've been with these men. Nitori thought.
"Us FBI are currently in search of talented Characters to help us with the expulsion of the criminal organization known as Neo-Yakuza. We were able to gather enough fighter Characters, but our roster is short of support Characters, like engineers and medics." The brown-haired agent intervened. "We would like you to consider joining us to aid with getting rid of this dangerous criminal organization."
This was something Nitori never thought of. She didn't know too much about the world outside of Rio, and all of a sudden these men come to her shop and ask her for her assistance?
"Would you guys kindly give me some time to think about this?" Nitori asked.
"We will give you 24 hours for considerations. But no more than that." The red-haired agent responded. "After all, this is an urgent operation."

The Iced Dad Cube rebounded off the street curb, spinning wildly and shredding bits of ice before bouncing off a Jelly Car, into the air and slamming into Megaman's helicopter as it buzzed towards the military base. The aircraft shook and spun as the engine instantly failed- having been crushed by an half-ton of ice would hurt even the heaviest helicopters, and the Blackhawk was not the most durable model out there. The pilot took one look at the terrifying grin behind the ice, grabbed his parachute, and leaped out of the helicopter as it crashed into the border of the US base.
