    Well
Considering Aion has a slight grudge against Aurora after she saves him when he was trying to protect Terrisa and therefore resulted in Terrisa's death, he might not have fully forgave what happened and due to the fact that he often refers to Aurora as a spirit without knowing that Aurora contains a part of Tina's spirit...
It might work in that regard...

What do you have in mind?

With Selene, he's protecting her from Sol. As for being an exorcist, it wouldn't work on himself considering I'm not going to have 2 Aions running around now thus eliminating the original possibility...
So he has to be going after someone else...
    ...which might be...
    ...Aurora?

Maybe both reasons? What ends is he trying to reach with each task?

...taking into account what I think might explain a primary limitation of those that manipulate time I think I've raised another question...
How far does the Beast of Time's influence reach?
I know time affects all...but... Something seems off, especially when looking at my previous concept...

...actually I don't know exactly what seems off but I look at the previous post and feel like something is off...

    EDIT:
Bigger problem: Aion's alias "Revere Exorco" doesn't make much sense now...
The name is based on the phrase: revered exorcist, and before it made sense as Aion was trying to draw out the alternate spirit that possessed his mortal body.
That's no longer the case as we've set Revere's primary reason for going back was to protect Selene...

That wouldn't work, for it is the act of changing something that may cause the blindness.
It would probably be something supernatural, a sort of penalty of breaking some unwritten rule that time manipulators must obey.
And I think it would be the premise "Somethings are meant to be."
Unfortunately it doesn't work in a general sense.

    ...actually it could.
Maybe the condition for blindness always happens whenever the timeline is altered, however, the severity of the change is reflected in the duration of the blindness. If you make a permanent change in the timeline, then you become permanently blind.

This could really add depth to Aion when he is Revere, because he has to be careful what he changes.
Now to maybe make it a bit more lenient, maybe if one sets up the changes to be gradual, then it will not cause blindness as severe. So it's a constant battle against time to gently coax it in a different direction...
...and that could make sense considering the entity of time is a beast. Big, sudden changes might anger the beast but gentle gradual changes might be more "acceptable."

So time manipulators have to be careful not to anger the beast of time.

That might work, but we'll need to make it make sense.

Perhaps the visions put a load on the optic nerve?

Ok attempting to make Selene work for TSU has once again made me realize something more:
    Why Aetheron is blind.
Ok so I thought that to limit Selene's ability to look into fissures she might go blind depending on how much she changes from what she sees.
This reminded me of other mythological cases where often seers are also blind as a form of exchange for the ability.
Then I thought that it could apply to all time manipulators in EG.
The threat of blindness. From temporary to permanent depending how much the timeline is changed. It would make one think twice about using their abilities.
Now it made me think that perhaps this could be why Aion doesn't use his ability often and why Aetheron is blind.

In a sense, yes. Call it emergency comic relief. It's also the first alien creature I have.

An honest critic about that creature
It gives me the idea that you just wanted to make something totally out of the context of your project

That or you just made it up

I'll work out cicero and nero later. The more I think on it the less I like the concept.

At the moment I feel like I have enough to start to just write the story from the beginning properly.

At this point the things I would need help with is checking for continuity errors in the timeline or other things.

It'll be more prominent as I go, specially with keeping track of where characters are.

    EDIT:
Challenge - let's come up with the abilities of Mus.

    Appearance note:

The cartoon drawing is easy to replicate. Draw a squiqly circle for body and fur, a triangle with a big dot at the end for a nose, two arcs for ears, a curl for a tail, and two vertical lines for eyes.

When I imagine a more realistic version I think of a big fat white furry body, legs not normally visible, a wide and long black face that also is the nose, pink mouse nose at the end. The eyes are positioned in such a way that makes it look derpy, and then it has a pink mouse tail. And it's the size of ... A melon (slightly smaller than a human head). It often sits upright and opens its mouth wide making its signature "Muuuuuuuuur" sound.

The conditions are they have to be really nonsensical.
For example, and to start off the list.
    1. They can puff up and fly
    2. They can bounce like a rubber ball.
    3. They can sometimes talk and choose to do so at very strange times.
    4. They don't exactly die, only "pop." A mus can be revived by pumping it up with any gas.
    5. They can breath fire.
    6. They fart helium.
    7. Laser eyes!
    8. They burp laughing gas
    9. They have incredible strength, speed, and agility. They just choose to be slow and lazy.
E.g. They can flip a tank with one paw.
    10. Feed them cheese only if you wish for their farts to be nuclear explosions.
    11. Feed them something frozen and their breath shall freeze anything. Effect lasts for a limited time.
    12. The ability to teleport.
    13. Multiple mus singing (murring) can put anyone to sleep. A single one just wakes people up.
    14. Telepathy
    15. Telekinesis
    16. Bottomless pit of a stomach. Can eat indefinitely. However it does not become bloated. Also it's digestive system is strange, thus allowing a mus to be a very good storage solution.
    17. Their excrement is various precious gems or metals. The occurrence of this is rare and has driven many to maddness.

Well, looks like I'll be gone till the 28th. Check my post in General for more info.

Of course, while I'm still here, I should post once more before then. After that, we'll have to start again on the 28th. Sorry if that slows things down.

Anyways, I meant more about their history, the full story. If we can trace their origins, then we could find what could have happened and see when he might have changed time periods.

Cicero and Nero are pivotal characters (Cicero moreso)
Cicero's role is seen throughout the lore.
Nero is more foreground than Cicero. The lore focuses more on the background., where Cicero acts.

Nero is similar in appearance save for color scheme

Ok, well first let's talk about each character, deconstruct them, and compare/contrast them.

Who are they? What is their history?

tbh I'm looking for an explanation for Cicero and Nero's similarities.
