If Touhous had Pokemon Teams

I say Flan gets a Woobat for the cuteness of it. It's still level 100, but it's not evolved.
And yeah, I was thinking of Xatu's ability as a parellel to Remi's. I was thinking of Ai-/Ambipom for Chen for two reasons. 1. It goes for her more cheery side, as they seem to be quite cheery with that smile of theirs. 2. Two tails for both of them. and a bonus would be for cuteness of Chen hugging one.

I imagine rest of Flandre's pokemon those that can learn 1-hit KOs, like Pinsir.

Chen hugging and Ambipom would be pretty cute.
The two tails does work for her. And on that same route, there's Espeon which is also two-tailed.

Flan does need a sweet little over-leveled Woobat to counter balance the sheer ferocity of that the rest of her team would have. ^.^
I'm not sure about Pinsir, but having at least one Pokémon capable of 1-hit KOing is a good idea.

Almost obvious to add either of these three for Suwako: Politoed, Seismitoad, or Toxicroak.

As well as Medicham and Salamence for Chugoku

Politoed is in Suwako's (for the most part, final) Team.
I thought it was a "froggier" frog Pokémon than the other two.
(Even with Froakie coming up in Gen 6, I'd stick with Politoed since it matches her shirt frogs.)

You confused me for a bit on this one.
Chugoku is Meiling, right? ^_^;
Medicham is possible, but as far as a "continental Asian" Fighting-type goes, Mienshao is more "Chinese-y"
And I agree that she warrants a Dragon-type, but Salamence seems a bit much.
I think Dragonair has more of an Oriental dragon feel with its serpentine design.

I've been taking on a bit of an "editor" role in this discussion, huh?
Here's a few suggestions I have that I'd like to bounce off y'all, so let me know if you think they'd be a good fit.
(Most of these are maybes on the list already but I don't think I've explicitly stated them yet.)

Sakuya - For the "Perfectly Elegant Maid" I think an elegant Liligant would be good.
Prismrivers - Meloetta may be more suited to them than Mystia, since a good vocalist is a plus for any band.
Suika - I can imagine her headbutting a Bouffalant just for fun. ^.^
Mystia - Chatot is the most vocal bird in Pokémon and could be good for her. Also, as a bit more ironic choice, there's the lamprey-looking Eelektrik.
Flandre - Gliscor is a vampiric, bat-like Pokémon with access to the OHKO Guillotine.

Also for Remilia, we seem to have her "battiness" and ability covered.
But I'd like to see a Pokémon that can represent her "Spear the Gugnir" one of her most notable spell cards.

Gliscor is a fine choice for Flan.

Beedrill for Iku for the DRILL-
And headbutting is more for Keine-Sensei.
Maybe Vespiquen for Alice? Even though Alice isn't an insect, the fact that Vespiquen can control Combees sound similar to Alice and the Shanghai Dolls.

But I'm happy with Iku's current team, so I don't think I'll be changing it.

Keine has a Taurus already, so I'm not sure if she needs more bull Pokémon. ^.^

Vespiqueen is a good one to consider.

[Eirin]Change Chansey to Blissey for ULTIMATE NURSE
[Tojiko]If Iku has Pikachu, TOJIKO HAS RAICHU FOR ULTIMATE THUNDER!!!
[Miko]Add Audino to her too... listening to 10 people at once is not an easy fit.
[Orin]Vulpix... close enough.

Golem is good. It does look a bit like a keystone.
Now Tenshi needs a "Celestial"-like Pokémon.
(Her semi-perverse, personal tastes are too open for everyone to see if all of her Pokémon are masochistic. ^o^)

Chansey to Blissey check.
Eirin's occupation, and race are more-or-less covered. Now a good one for her ability.
The only "medicinal" Pokémon that come to my mind are the Gloom evolutionary line.

Raichu is good for Tojiko.
She'll also need a suitable Ghost-type.

Audino does have super crazy hearing.
Hopeless Masquerade might help make her personality and abilities a bit more clear.

And Vulpix is a good start for Rin. She may be another tricky character to work with though.
