the main theme is that the Venturian Galaxy is a mere shell of what it once was. nothing more than ruins. A dead galaxy.
Now there are colonists and archaeologists arriving to the dead galaxy.
Conquer or explore. Control an empire and attempt to take the galaxy as your own? Be a wayfaring colonist and build a new home? Or delve into the history of once was the Eternal Galaxy?
Are there organizations looking to use the galaxy as a catalyst for creating a new one by obliterating the remains of said dead galaxy? Or something to that extent?
the only thing I have is the exploration of the ruins.
The Galaxy is rich in resources still, there's just no life in it (save for natural plant life an what not. There's no animals, and no other sentient beings currently present...except Cicero. But that's for later)
Phoenix is merely a means to let the story progress without me needed at every turn. Shards of Starlight and Echoes of Time will be refered to to help explain the backstory of the galaxy and what happened. But that's only if ruins are discovered that relate to the prior parts
Phoenix is Part III after all in the series.
...think of it like Star Wars and how it wound up starting with Ep. IV.
