I think SUS is right about it Zekai, you just blurted out something deeply important about your character and those things usually are revealed when facing something important in the middle of the story, not at the introduction
Have you ever crossed the line between sanity and madness? You would be amazed by what lies beyond the fog..
Well I didn't really hate it. I just found it annoying. It just seemingly came out of nowhere without any buildup it seems. From my perspective it was Kris and Maya talking, Zero got angry because of a witch (which I would have been fine with until the big reveal), then he gets in a fight with Kris, then says a witch murdered his mother quite quickly.
Normally in a story or RP there would be some sort of build up for a bit. I mean we are on the first day of the RP in TSU and a pretty big and seemingly important personal plot twist was revealed without much real morning.
I found it annoying than hair pulling angry, but that's because I'm used to some sort of buildup before such reveals.
Sorry but I do find you a good RPer, and TSU won't really be the same without you or your characters. You were one of the first people who applied to TSU which I am grateful of.
To be honest, that isn't a big reveal that needed a build up, it just tells you why Zero really hates witches.

"No matter how strong or what power the enemy has, I will fight and protect my friends, even if it cost me my life to protect them. I will fight until I die to ensure their future."
>Robin: "I'm afraid I'm going to have to stop you." >Someone in AtWaG: "Oh really? You and what army?" >Robin summons Einherjar army >Robin: "This one."
That's what Robin is known for in FE: A, pulling off miraculous tactics that allow smaller forces take down entire empires.
15 soldiers vs hundreds? a smaller fleet of ships vs a larger fleet? A few thousand soldiers vs hundreds of millions? A small army vs Grima?
Robin: Been there, won that.
To be honest...not a lot of Fire Emblem characters have pulled off feats like Robin.
Marth is a close second imo. He lead his army against the odds when all hope was lost. But Robin did something he couldn't: Permanently slay Grima's ancestral incarnate.
And I found Tiki's Theme from Shadow Dragon again~

Still it's a reveal that could potentially effect any plot points with your character.
I'm sorry but it still rubs me the wrong way because
1: It seemingly came out of nowhere (even if it does explain WHY he hates witches[really hates them])
2: It seems like it was a big thing that should have had more build up. I mean a witch murdered his mother, if that doesn't sound like something that should have a major effect on any plot points with him in the future of the RP then I don't know what is.
3: It seemingly came only after I introduced Maya to Kris. Before that no one knew that there was anything really wrong with his mother, and that is one problem with not having a bio right off the bat. As people can easily make up things for their characters past as the plot goes along. I don't mind it, I just prefer people to try and be careful with it.
Now I'm sorry if I sound mean at all, but it just rubs me the wrong way if something like His mother being murder not needing build up is kind of well... glaring to me. It just seems like something that should have been treated with more importance.
Well, that may be so, but then there's matching wits against other RPers. You may be playing as a tactical genius, but creativity wins battles. :p
I think that's the point Kristia is trying to make. Robin may be a tactical genius, but if the other guy has the better plan, then they can be systematically taken down, just like any other character can be defeated.
