John furrowed his brow at the arrogant man, but remained silent. Instead, John looked over to Annie and motioned over to the left of them, silently signaling for her to walk away from the man and in that direction.

Takoizu had been somewhat silent ever since they entered the elevator. This entire time, she had been mentally preparing herself for another fight. Takoizu didn't know what they were going to be fighting, so she needed to prepare herself for anything. Just then, Takoizu heard The Higher Power speak and turned her head towards him. From what she heard, he possibly had some bad news.
"What is it?", Takoizu asked The Higher Power in a curious tone.

Volgin was out cold, but there was a beeping, beating faster by the second.

The man in the black coat stood outside, watching the sun setting (??? Guessing the time here), but with an expressionless face. Not relishing it, not loathing it. Just... Watching. Waiting.
A man in a white coat came to him.
"Sir, the bomb has been activated. But, if it's alright with you-"
"The bomb wasn't meant for the lab," he interrupted. "I know far too well the structure of the lab."
"But sir, it will put Volgin's life in danger! Gravely, I should add!"
The man simply sighed. "... Didn't you here him? He didn't want to be a part of our organization. He was merely a test subject for the serum."
"Which one did you use?"
"Think. Which one suppresses violent tendencies?"
"If that's the case, why did you make him do an assault trial?"
"Simple. I wanted to gift him with possibly the last one he'll ever get."
"And why put his life in danger when he can be used for other experiments, willingly or not?"
"Must you ask so many questions? I want to give them a good reason to come here and teach me a lesson they'll not soon forget."
"... You are a frightening man, sir."
"As is the struggle for power. Anyways... Is it ready?"
"Yes sir. Follow me."
The two left the scenery.

Jack finished recovery after some time. He hid behind a shelf, waiting for any activity. When suddenly...
Chk!
Sakuya had snuck up behind him and stabbed him in the back with a knife. Jack fell down with a cry of pain.
"Intruders shall not be tolerated in this manor. The only punishment is death."
He laid there for a while. Then, he slowly got back up.
"Not learned your lesson yet?" She remarked as she pulled out several knives. She formed an H with her hand.
"Illusion Existence 'Clock Corpse!!!'"
Several knives surrounded Jack, leaving Jack with almost no chance. He was standing bloody in the middle of a bunch of knives.
Finally, the knives shot to him. But his eyes shot open with empowerment. He took out the knife he had been impaled with and began deflecting the knives at a high rate. Bunch by bunch, knives fell from the air like flies. The storm ended with him dropping the knife in his hand. He quickly took out a bandage and wrapped himself.
"... You are an impressive being. But still a dirty creature that must learn his place."
Jack had retreated to ground floor to try and escape through the exit.

Central Hub - Prometheus Labs - London | Dawn
As soon as Daniel heard the beeping inside of Volgin, he quickly looked over his surroundings and noticed all the people in the central hub with him. There were various scientists, mechanics, office workers, and security guards roaming the area. If Volgin had a bomb inside of him, then every single one of them were in peril. Thinking quickly, Daniel yelled out to warn everyone in the area.
"Everyone, evacuate the area! He's got a bomb in his chest!", Daniel yelled out as loudly as he could, hoping to get everyone to evacuate in time.
As soon as Daniel yelled out the word bomb, everyone that was not in MJOLNIR armor immediately ran out from the central hub as fast as they could. After everyone evacuated, a large shield made up of numerous gold octagons surrounded the room, protecting the surrounding halls from any explosion. Meanwhile, the SPARTANs in the area made sure that the place was secure by locking the doors and ensuring that they had an airtight seal.

Jack calmly waited as Eve reinitialized the repair process, this time a little more focused on Eve. If she changed again, Jack would need to either talk her out of the Queen's Throne code, or incapacitate her, and he knew that incapacitating her would be easier said than done, especially if he wanted to do so without hurting her.

After the huntress spoke, Eleos simply pulled out his cloaking device and switched it on before Isaac, Shadow, Ara, and Rena appeared. He was perfectly invisible.

Remilia's call for Kenway to follow her were left unanswered. He had already snuck forward and was making his way into the basement of the library in pursuit of Jack. "The boy that Alvis figure mentioned...Let's see who you are, hm?"

"We can talk about our deal later, Im getting the idea that this will be needed to finish fast" Samus moved onto the mansion already tracking the diferent signals on her radar
The comander was following suit and asked "So what is the plan bounty hunter, pummel this guy to pulp or blast him" she said gesturing her weapons
The blonde smirked at that idea, but declined I thnk it will be better to pummel him, this place is of great intelligence and im sure he came to either get somethiing or destroy evidence" she said detecting multiple signals in the basement "Looks like I got him, how good are you at aiming commander"

Jason, Mima, Utsuho, and Reimu were led to a small but comfy room with couches, refreshments, and a large viewing monitor. There were enough couches for everyone to sit on, but the floor had a rug for people to sit on if they felt too uncomfortable in the couches. The nourishments on the coffee table included salted crackers, non-buttered popcorn, and M&Ms, as well as sodas and water for drinks. The screen filled an entire wall, and was turned off.
"This is your waiting room. You can rest here until the battle begins." Vessaria said. "Let me know if there is anything else you need."
Annie nodded and snuck towards John. "What is it?"
Banished Library - Gensokyo
"Yes, please do move those over there."
"Old man, can't I get some rest?"
Guren was promised a land of beauteous ladies with power to challenge even him. But right now he was stuck down here with this crummy old man who wanted to do nothing but archive books and hunks of junks. He was bored, and thought of running away, but out of the goodness of his heart did he stay and help.
"Ah, how long has it been... It's been 3 hours I see." Bailey nodded as he looked at his antique pocketwatch. "Yes, you are free to go for the day."
Guren bolted out the door in response. Finally, freedom! Time to find this wonderful land where he can train to get stronger AND possibly find some ladies while at it.

Both armored females were speeding their way through the basement corridors searching for the person that caused so much conmotion "So where could this guy be? we already passed that big hole, for making something that big, he should be wither strong or heavy as a Krogan" the commander spoke checking through every door they passed
The bounty hunter cchuckled at that "Well then, if he is a big guy, then our target practice shall be easier, or in the other hand, I will enjoy a new adversary, space pirates are good shooters, but mostly are jarheads, anoother bounty hunter would be something fun"

After Annie walked away from the man escorting her, John walked over to her as he covertly pulled out what at first glance looked like a small rectangular box. As he approached, Annie could get a better look at it. What John had in his hand was a small, beat up communicator. John still kept the communicator after so long, mainly as a way to easily communicate with others if they didn't have one. After stopping in front of Annie with his back facing the man escorting her, John quietly spoke.
"I know I have Vessaria's word that you will be safe, but I just want to be sure you won't be harmed while separated from us. I've been double-crossed many times before, so I just want to have a 'Plan B' in case things don't go as planned. This is a communicator. If you are in danger, call me and I promise that I will be there.", John quietly said as he covertly handed Annie the black communicator.
"It's already been set to my frequency, so all you have to do is press the button on the side and speak into it.", John added.

Now that Annie had a way to contact him, he no longer felt the sinking feeling in his stomach anymore. Now, if Annie was attacked, he would know that he could help her. With that in mind, John turned around and spoke to the man that was previously escorting her.
"Okay, you can take her now.", John calmly said to the man.
"Thanks. Good luck to you too.", John quietly said to Annie.
