    Pine Grove

Zena looked away from Saru out of curtacy, just in case his special coconuts were showing while they were being healed. She could only hope that Nera wouldn't accidently give her that water later for drinking.... best not to ask her for any water... She then heard what the fox said, taking a look at the wounded samurai, then to the fox who was also still bleeding. "You were a prisoner?" she asked the male.

"Aye, I watched that devil kill my brothers til only I remained." he answered solemnly"

Zena could only imagine what such a fate must have been like, she felt sorry for the swordsman, but her attention was taken away from that when Azeruk returned. "Oh you're back. Did you find what you were looking for?"

After Nera's treatment for Saru's... special family jewels, the monkey felt relieved. However he was still in relative shock as he sat where he was. The pain gone, but the whole experience from the ordeal was still persisting. This doesn't mean he wasn't going to just sit there.

In fact Saru stood up with his legs crossed. "Never again shall I climb atop such a beast... I do not want to take another fall like that EVER again..." He spoke as he stumbled a bit before regaining his balance. His vision was a little blurry from the shock of the pain he had experienced, but it'll all clear up soon.

A spike of ice was close to the time sorcerer seconds after he appeared, but dissolved as the elf spoke with him, with the fox yaju's ears focused on them being the only proof of her attention. Nera knew that there were many kinds of magic, but there were some that shouldn't cross the line, one of them was of time manipulation, or as many called it Chronomancy. That kind of magic was one of the most dangerous if someone was able to go through time, one thing was having visions of the future and past, but going to that spot of time was bad news.

By the time Saru's momentary shock faded, he looked up at Azeruk as the others talked. Seeing this strange man, Saru got a little on the defensive side. However he was not entirely ready for a fight, rather he was ready to run if needed. Thankfully he didn't need to as Zena and Nera seemed to be rather... lax with him. Or familiar with him at least. Almost as if he was an ally.

".... Who is this man...?" Saru asked in a quiet, whispered voice to Zena. Curious as to who the chronomancer was.

It took Zena a moment to realize that Saru had spoke to her, but once it clicked she gave a swift response. "OH! Sorry. This is Azeruk. He's the owner of that tower the dragon knocked down. Azeruk this is Saru and Nera. They were inside the fortress while we were fighting the necromancer." she explained before looking over to the fox Yaju with more questions. "Did either of you learn anything that can help us?"

The yaju was cleaning her nose since there were some dried blood due to the stress of so much magic used "I learned enough that the mistress of that flying castle will come back if she is intelligent, Nechromancy is of course the vampire's main ability while also having the advantages of her race." Nera looked at the direction of where the dragon went "I will need to talk with Eatos as soon as possible, she won't like my idea, but for the sake of avoiding unnecessary deaths, she will have to listen to me."

If she was honest with herself, the black and white vixen knew that the near future would likely sever her relations with the avian woman, but she hoped that the queen would understand the situation and talk with her, the one she was worried about were the emotional people around Eatos, even that bodyguard of hers would proably be too rigid, her blade wouldn't want a new engraving for something that wasn't meant to be.

Azeruk watched the three converse, but did not say a word, simply opting to turn around and walk away towards the wagon with the shortsword and bag of supplies dangling in his hands. In truth, Azeruk felt that he had little time to talk. Right now he needed to regroup and find some way of finding Lavender before she could get hurt out in the wilderness, or worse, killed. Azeruk placed the supplies into the wagon before rummaging through the bag and pulling out what looked to be a glass container holding a blue liquid. After that, he opened up the top and swiftly downed the potion.

Saru, after the pain having had completely faded away from his nether-regions, looked right at Azeruk after having been given the explanation of who he was along with the tower that was destroyed. Hearing this Saru quickly and immediately bowed apologetically.

"I apologize greatly for the destruction that came upon your tower. I will do my best to make it up to you if you wish." He spoke as he then suddenly heard in the distance. The whistling and humming of that large man with the shield... He was somewhat close-by. Suddenly thoughts of what happened to Saru went through his mind as his attention surprisingly shifted as he then took off running in the direction of where the man's singing is coming from.

Zena watched as suddenly both Azeruk and Saru had left the area without warning. "This left the elf rather confused as she couldn't help but wonder what was going on. "Was it something I said? Oh well, I'm sure those two can take care of themselves." she said before turning and looking at Nera. "Anyway, if you want to see the queen I can give you an escort there. I need to report what I saw anyway."

The Vulpine Yaju nodded at the elf "They have their own schedules, this was quite the situation that is rare to occur" she spoke and could now breathe with her nose again, not with the scent of blood in her nostrils. Nera then looked at the general direction of the city "I would appreciate the escort, Lady Zena, some rest would be good after fighting skeletons and a living castle."

"You and I both." she stated. "Between fighting that vampire and healing all the people she wounded I'm ready to collapse." If the fox could sense magical energy, she would have seen just how close Zena was to killing herself from overuse of magic. Being the only healer for not one but two squads had left her very drained. Despite this she still seemed determined to help. "If you're injured I could try to heal you. At least I could close a few wounds for you until we make it back to the city."

Meanwhile the man Nera had saved had gone back and collected a bushel of wild berries, nuts and oher edibles that one could find in the woods. It wasnt' exactly a three cores meal but at the very least it would help them regain their energy. "Sorry to keep you both waiting. It's not much but i hoped this food would make you feel a bit more at ease."

The fox yaju shook her head at the elf's offer "While I appreciate the help, I will decline it since you are a close to have a collapse due to energy exhaustion." she started while taking her last vial, its green color made it look unpleasant though "I suggest you to drink this, it will boost your stamina, or at the least, keep your body from falling." the hydromancy couldn't help but chuckle humorlessly "Good thing I didn't drink it, I would have probably had the bad idea of trying to fight the mistress of that castle and end up dying."

Hearing the saved prisoner offering some of nature's food, the vixen some of the berries and popped one into her maw "Thank you for the meal, these taste like a royal's banquette" she made a small joke, after their small adventure, simple things like the berries were a godsend.

Zero sat there rubbing his head for a few minutes. "AARRRGGHHHH!!!!!" He said in a raised voice. "I better head back and accompany Zena back." He said standing up. "If not Molack with be angry." Zero said as he walks back to where Zena and the rest are. "At least it wont be hard to find them since they still have my scales on them....... Hopefully." He said as he ties up his hair.
"No matter how strong or what power the enemy has, I will fight and protect my friends, even if it cost me my life to protect them. I will fight until I die to ensure their future."

The elf paladin was hesitant to drink the strange green liquid. Not because she didn't trust the yaju but because she looked like she needed it more. "Oh that's alright, I was planning to rest a little on the way back. There's a wagon waiting for us along the dirt path so we can rest easy until we get there." she explained as she lead the two of them back to it. Hopefully Azeruk was still around.

Nera nodded while storing the vial on her belt, she made sure the other remaining vials wouldn't break, she could feel her armor needing some repair work while her blade needed a new carving, but the yaju's mind just wanted to take a break "In the end, we got some good information, but I can't be completely sure until I speak with Eathos, she might have some insight regarding the Necromancer and her reasons for attacking the tower."
