Shortly after getting a few things ready in the armory, Drake made his way to the vehicle bay where Lux was just getting ready as indicating by her checking her X Mirage gun. Seeing this he didn't say much except gave a small nod, indicating that he was at least pleased with SOMETHING regarding her. What he was kinda pleased with was how she was making sure her X Mirage pistol was working properly.

Drake didn't do the same as he went and sat on his special ATV.

    Spoiler:

He however didn't bother to check if it was alright as he started it up, and thankfully the engine started up. He then turned towards Lux and gave her a 2 fingered salute before driving out of the Vehicle Bay and for Old Citadel.

Koishi's luck must have been incredibly high or she must have some plain ol' dumb luck as the 'random' keypad she put in happened to... work... More or less. The system for it kinda glitched and stuttered before considering that the number she pressed in was correct. Thus causing the door to slide open, and from the open door she can hear a guy screaming in panic and frustration...

Meanwhile on the other end, Kyra can also hear the same thing. The sound of a young man... an awfully young sounding man yelling and screaming in anger about being stuck or something. The tunnel that Kyra was heading through was the secret underground tunnel that Andrew had under his hideout as an escape rout which also served as another exit... What she'll find will be a young man stuck in the ceiling of the tunnel by the waist, seeing nothing but his legs kicking in a panic.

Upon hearing the yells of frustration, Koishi popped her head in curiously, tilting it further upon seeing the source, a man stuck in a hole in the floor.

"Oh, hiya." Koishi said pretty calmly. "You like to yell a lot, don't ya'?"

She stepped in fully, bird still cradled under her right arm as she gazed around the place.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

As Lux finished checking her gun, her bike came up and she got on and started it up and made sure everything worked. "Good, everything is a go." She says as she revs it and goes to her destination. Lux remembers that Drake said that this is also a test. Could it be a promotion test? Maybe not, she did kinda went off on her superior not that long ago. So what can the test be about? Lux will likely find out when she arrives.

        Spoiler: bike

Andrew who was screaming and panicking as he tried to get out of the hole in the ground, had looked up with a shocked and rather scared expression on his face. Seeing Koishi... the girl he had watched ON HIS CAMERAS, is literally standing right in front of him... or rather above him. The view of a girl looking right down at the, currently defenseless and vulnerable Andrew was quite intimidating. It caused the young, cat-eared and tailed man to cover his face, turn away from Koishi, and begin screaming in panic.

          "AAAAAAAAAAAAAA DON'T HURT ME!!!"

"Hey, see what I mean? You really need to tone down your voice, silly." Koishi gave a beaming smile. " 'sides, i'm not gonna hurt you, Mr. Stuckinholle. Doin' a violence is sorta rude to someone you don't even know."

Koishi moved closer to the man, plopping herself down on the ground next to the hole. "So, uh... you know anythin' about fixin' birds? I mean, you look sorta... cat-like. Unless you wanna eat 'em, in which case, Mr. Bird's mine."

Following the voice of someone screaming, Kyra started moving faster until it became a sprint ("Does this person also has kidnapped civilians? that would be extremely problematic) she thought as her Ghost kept up with her, also getting more serious as he spoke "I already mapped the building into your HUD, and plotted a route towards the source of the screams". To be honest, this capture became more interesting for the Guardian since most of her jobs weren´t that complicated, kill this mercenary, help this stronghold, escort a caravan. While they were important requests, she did feel that things were still on the low phase of problems.

They kept moving until the Ghost stopped, followed by a now confused hunter "Uh.. why are a pair of legs and a tail flailing on the roof?" the small machine asked while the woman walked to it and poked one of the person´s feet with her rifle.

Andrew peaked out from the cover of his hands and arms as he looked right at Koishi with caution.

"Hey... that's my freaking camera! What the hell are you doing with it!? Did you break it!? You broke it didn't you! I swear you better pay for the repair supplies!" He yelled as he then felt something cold, and metal poke his foot. This caused him to let out a rather audible and high pitched 'eep' as he clenched his toes and visibly flinched. He then looked at Koishi and grabbed one of her arms.

                "PULLMEOUT PULLMEOUT!!"

Lux was keeping her distance from Drake, not only so he can't bug her but also because she doesn't like him, given how the small talks have been. "Display data on Old Citadel." She said and a holographic screen appears and displays data. "Old Citadel, 1st settlement for humans. Destroyed by Drifters and now a hotspot for criminals." She read from the data then the screen disappears. "And it's a warehouse where the destination is. Maybe it's a recovery mission." She talked to herself.

"Correction, this is Mr. Bird." Koishi presented it. "He's just a little under the weather, is all."

"Also, you need to learn to ask nicely. Yelling at people right next to you is impolite. I mean, wuld you speak to your momma like that? Maybe I hould teach you some nicey-nice manners." Koishi continued on, ignoring the hand firmly on her arm.

"Grrr... I left my mom a long time ago... Anyways just get me out of this hole... please..." Andrew begrudingly asked as he let go of Koishi's arm. "And maybe I'll take a look at that camera- I mean bird you bro- er I mean found." He said as he looked at her, waiting for a response. His toes and feet were still tensed up.

Drake who was far ahead of Lux couldn't make out what she was saying, but he didn't really care as he kept driving. It'll take a bit longer to get to Old Citadel, and honestly Drake was supposed to have today off. Goes to show that you could be put on the line of duty at a moments notice in EXCELSIOR. As he drove though he got an update about Lux's mission. One that made him slow down JUST enough so that he'd be side-by-side with Lux.

"Hey got an update. The location is a warehouse, but if you were smart enough you'd probably did some quick research on it and figured it out. Anyways the signal is coming from a rather small source. So either someone is actually in trouble, or the higher ups are just leading you there for a real test." He yelled at the top of his lungs as he drove side-by-side with Lux. Yelling just so she'd be able to hear him.

"Also the estimated time of arrival is about 20 minutes at the speed we're going. Thank god these vehicles are fast."

"Okay." Koishi got up, went around him, and pulled up by the collar with one arm, lifting him out without seemingly any damages. "There ya' go. Now, can you help Mr. Bird? He's a little stiff. I think he needs a chiropractor or somethin'."

Lux couldnt figure out why he was yelling instead of using the comm. Lux quickly checked hers and saw and it was still on private so only a few registered people can talk to her. She switched it over to standard and spoke. "Why didnt you just use the comms instead of yelling?" She asked already knowing the answer. Drake said that it would be another 20 minutes. Apparently he didnt know how fast Lux can actually go.

When Andrew was finally pulled out he let out a sigh of relief as he quickly dusted himself off. Seemingly forgetting his promise to Koishi he took a look down in the hall he was stuck in... only to find a woman with armor and a gun right there... At least her armor and clothing, and slightly larger size will prevent her from fitting through the hole... at least. Despite that fact, he was downright terrified of the woman in armor.

"AH! ANOTHER ONE!? WHY THE HELL IS EVERYONE NOW FINDING ME!? I STILL HAVE A FEW DOZEN HIDEOUTS ALL OVER THE PLACE!" He yelled as he went to shut the metal door to the hole in the ground. However the door was jammed...

Hearing Lux ask why he's yelling. Drake chuckled as he spoke more normally to her. "Because it's more fun that way. Besides it's the only real way you'd pay attention to what I have to say. Let's face it. You already don't like me now do ya? Well let me tell you one little bit of advice. It's not my job to be liked. That's all. I could be liked. That can help out a lot, but I honestly couldn't care less. All I want to do is focus on the job at hand. So how about we speed up quite a bit? That is... if you can." Drake replied as he hit the gas pedal on his vehicle. The vehicle began speeding up somewhat quickly.

"I just found the place ince the fancy light outside kept flashing. It's pretty bright, ya' know?"

Koishi peered into the hole, seeing the woman as Andrew struggled to close the hatch.

"Oh, hi there!" Koishi waved a little, before grabbing the edge of the hatch, and slamming down, the hatch groaned, but gave in due to the sheer force as it hit the frame with a clunking sound.

"Bye there!" Koishi finished, before looking up at Andrew. "Maybe you left a signal or somethin'. So, uh... Mr. Bird's getting antsy."

"This is our guy for what we can guess Kyra, but I don´t think you can pass through that hole" the Ghost spoke matter of factly as he went through it and found a feline male and a female kid "Excuse me, but we need to take this boy to the authoritites" he spoke to Koishi and Andrew "So please stay here while my Guardian gets here" he then went back to the hole to be at the hunter´s eye level "There are two persons, the cat boy in a lab coat has more chances to be the target, but we can also try to deal with the girl."

Kyra nodded at her Ghost and had two ideas on how to get through the hole, the first and more conventional one was to blast the platform above her to make a bigger hole, but that would probably hurt their target or scare it away before she could even finish. The other idea was more interesting and yet more complicated since she needed to make her entrance. That one needed more precision as she needed to use a grenade. The huntress aimed her weapon and threw it to the seal, which was then transformed in 8 child grenades that got stuck in a circle around the seal. Pressing the detonator, the grenades cracked the floor which was then destroyed by Kyra´s fist as she jumped, landing in front of the two people. "Sir, madam" she greeted both of them "I will need to take you to the authorities, would you please follow me and avoid unnecessary violence?" she asked politely.
