Magic: IllusionThe Illusion school
(Totally didn't take some of this from rulebooks and such)

Name: Illusion
Rank: Tier 3
Type: Illusion magic can be trained like any other magic type
Description:
Illusion spells deceive the senses or minds of others. They cause people to see things that are not there, not see things that are there, hear phantom noises, or remember things that never happened. Illusions come in five types: figments, glamers, patterns, phantasms, and shadows. Illusion magic can be used to mimic some other type of magic. The user needs to be familiar with what is mimicked. When starting out with Illusion magic (one soul point), only one sense can be fooled for each spell. So, to create a explosion illusion, the user would have to cast a seperate spell for the image, sound and heat of the explosion.

Figments and glamers are low level magic that are easy to cast, while patterns, phantasms and shadows are higher level magic that while they are more powerful, are also harder to cast.

Because figments and glamers are unreal, they cannot produce real effects the way that other types of illusions can. They cannot cause damage to objects or creatures, support weight, provide nutrition, or provide protection from the elements. The opposite is true for patterns, phantasms and shadows spells. This means they can deal damage. Two former two normally deal imagined damage, where the target thinks and feels that they have been injured. If such damage proves too much for a target, they will simply faint with no clear reason other than the magic casted on them.

If a person studies an illusion, they might realize that it's fake (depending on if they are observant enough, and the illusion is good enough). Figments and Phantasm still appear translucent after realizing that they are fake, while shadows still exist (although weaker). If they gain the knowledge that they are facing an illusion (they are told for example), realizing that the illusion is fake will be easier.

A spell being mind affecting means that it only affects things with some intelligence. A machine for example would be completely unaffected by a mind affecting spell.

Subtypes:

Name: Figment
Description: Creates a false sensation. Those who perceive the figment perceive the same thing, not their own slightly different versions of the figment. Figments cannot make something seem to be something else. If you try to duplicate a language you cannot speak, the figment produces gibberish. Likewise, you cannot make a visual copy of something unless you know what it looks like (or copy another sense exactly unless you have experienced it).

Name: Glamer
Description: A glamer spell changes a subject's sensory qualities, making it look, feel, taste, smell, or sound like something else, or even seem to disappear.

Name: Pattern
Description: Like a figment, a pattern spell creates an image that others can see, but a pattern also affects the minds of those who see it or are caught in it. All patterns are mind-affecting spells.

Name: Phantasm
Description: A phantasm spell creates a mental image that usually only the caster and the subject (or subjects) of the spell can perceive. This impression is totally in the minds of the subjects. It is a personalized mental impression, all in their heads and not a fake picture or something that they actually see. Third parties viewing or studying the scene don't notice the phantasm. All phantasms are mind-affecting spells.

Name: Shadow
Extra dependencies: Requires 1 Dark soul point per 4 soul points in illusion, min 1. If this requirement is not met, the strength of the spell will be as high as the condition is met. For example a magician with 12 soul points in illusion, but only 2 in dark can only use shadow as if they only had 8 soul points in illusion.
Description: A shadow spell creates something that is partially real from extradimensional energy. Such illusions can have real effects. Damage dealt by a shadow illusion is real. If the illusion looked throuh, it's strength is reduced to 10% to 90% of the original original strength, depending on the strength of the caster.

Magic: Spellweaving

Name: Spellweaving

Rank: 2

Type: Spellweaving requires a good deal of patience and knowledge of magic beforehand. In addition to that, when weaving, the people working on the glyph needs to be divisible by 2. To use a glyph you already have to have at least some knowledge with the spells used in the glyph.

Description:
Spellweaving is a form of magic where the user weaves what's called a spell glyph from spell threads. A spell glyph is a special object that can be used to cast a spell much lower mana cost, and in general allows for bigger spells than the user is capable of casting normally. The use of a spell glyph normally ranges from 1-10. The more powerful glyphs usually have only a single use. If using a glyph repeatably too fast it will disintegrate.

Spellweaving is done in groups, where all the participants pours they're magic into the glyph a little at a time. This is accompanied with a sort of flowing motion that all the participants take part in at the same time. Certain types of dances (when done carefully while pouring in magic) are examples of spellweaving. The entire process takes anywhere from 10 minutes for the more simple spells, to days or weeks for what the real applications of spellweaving is. Unlike normal magic, spellweaving is not required to be done all at once. Most of the work can be completed, and pause can then be made, and then the users can continue afterwards. The process of spellweaving itself is a rather erroneous process. While it is possible to try again without loosing too much process when such an error occurs, it will still leave a mark that will be detrimental to the glyph.

Spellweaving itself is a rather rare type of magic in this day, mostly because most humans don't see the use in it. It requires a lot of people, with a lot of time. The process itself is rather errounous, and you NEED at least two people to even start, preferably more. For all the reasons above, most humans have given up on spellweaving, calling it stuff like "Overcomplicated theory", "A spelltype without use", "A timewaster" and so on. The most popular use of it today are the spell threads that a spell glyph is made if as they look pretty, even when not used for a glyph.

For an example of what a spell glyph looks like vising: http://weavesilk.com/

Race: Merfolk
Name of the race: Merfolk

Gender: Both(Males are called Mermen while females are called Mermaid)

Appearance: Merfolk look for the most part like normal humans, with the exception that they have a fish tail instead of normal legs.

Abilities: Merfolk are more adaept dealing with elements like water and similar. Mermaids also have a beutiful voice that they can use to charm young men.

Weaknesses: Merfolk have basically no movement on land, and have to resort to other ways to come around. While they have to need to be in water all the time, they prefear to get at least half an hour each day surmerged in water.

History: The Merfolk were first brought to our world during the great link. As they lived underwater, they were considered a legend long after the great link. Normally you would only hear about mermaids from crazed sailors that had lost their ship. While the existance of mermaids was gradually know, they have continued to keep to themselves.

Behavior: The Merfolk is a race that for the most part lives in tribes underwater. Like humans they are neither good nor evil, and do not have one defined culture. Instead this varies from place to place. However a common trait is that for the most part they keep for themselves.

Biology: Merfolk can breathe both water and air. While underwater they can swim relatively fast, going much faster than a normal human. On land they can only crawl. They also have slightly better vision than humans to help them see in the darker waters in the ocean. Merfolk can usually live a bit shorter than double the length of a normal human life.

Race: Nymph
Note: there exists other types of nymphs too, this is just the most normal type

Name of the race: Nymph

Gender: Female

Appearance: Nymphs can be said to be a more extreme image of an elf. They are among the most beautiful creatures alive, so much so that they're beauty can be deadly.

Abilities: A Nymph is a type of fey, and inherit all the stuff that this applies. They are also especially much attuned to nature and water. In addition to that they can use their beauty almost as a weapon. Looking directly at them can stun a person, cause them to go mad, make them become blind, or in some cases even kill them. Nymphs are able to suppress this ability if they choose.

Weaknesses: A Nymph is a type of fey, and inherit all the weaknesses that this applies, although keep in mind that most nymphs are not malicious.

History: Nymphs came into the world at the same time as other feys. From there they have established communities around rivers, and small lakes, although most prefer to live for themselves. They tend to stay away from humans, both for their own sake and the humans sake. Due to their ability, some see Nymphs as dangerous fey that need to be controlled.

Behavior: Nymph's live for the most part for themselves, and prefer secluded coves, or sandy beaches. They hate anything ugly or evil. Verenestra is the deity of female Fey, charm and beuty. Nymphs are one of the Fey that look up to her.

Biology: It is unknown if Nymphs age at all, or if they only do so very slowly. Most nymphs die from something that's not age releated.

Races: About Fey
I won't write a complete app just Fey in general as I feel that the group is just to large and it's hard to establish anything concrete for several areas of the creature app. However I will write this little piece to give you an idea of what a Fey is.

The easiest way to explain Fey is that Japan has Youkai, europe has Fey.

Fey have many different phenonemens and locations liked to them, for example fairy forts, fairy rings and fairy paths.

Behavior: Fey care very much about repaying something that they do for a mortal, or the mortal takes from them. They decide the exchange rate. For this reason phrases like "Thank you" are seen as rude to Fey, as they often do not see it as a good exchange. Most Fey stay away from humans and society in general.

(Un)Seelie Court:
Fey can be divided into the Seelie Court, which are the light Fey, and the Unseelie Court, which are the dark Fey. They also have a wide range of deieties that they look up to. Some of these are Titania, Queen of Air and Darkness, Oberon, Verenestra, Damh, Nathair Sgiathach

Abilities:

Most Fey are naturally aligned with nature, and are at their core spiritual creatures. They are also more natural at more miscivious magic like illuesion, and other magic that can be used in a miscivious way.
Some fey also have powers to fulfill contracts they make, similar to crossroad demons, although less powerful. Fey are also normally less evil, and more malicious. Not all Fey are like that however.

Weaknesses:

The sort of weakness a Fey has varies on if it's malicious(or evil) or not. Generally malicious ones have more weaknesses.
First of, all Fey are weak to cold iron, in a kind of similar way that vampires are weak to silver.

If a Fey makes some sort of contract with someone else, they have to uphold that contract, although they may take the contract a bit literal, so one should be careful how to word oneself.

All Fey has something called a true name, which is a name that embodies who they are. If another person gets to know this true name, they can control, or just kill the Fey.

Some types of Fey: Dryad, Faun, Killoren, Korred, Leprechaun, Nymph, Pixie, Satyr, Shadar-kai, Spriggan(no, not the Skyrim one), Sylph

Character: Kathryn Tetra
Name: Kathryn Tetra

Gender: Female

Race: Mermaid

Age: 17

Appearance:

http://rizalalexander.cgsociety.org/art/photoshop-sweet-gum-portrait-2d-1217967

Personality:
Being from a rather big magic family with a big focus on knowledge and power, Kathryn often puts herself above others if she views them as not having similar knowledge. This does not however mean that she is mean in any way. It just means that she really dislikes people that think they know about magic trying to teach her something she either already knows, or that is actually wrong. Other than that she is often rather shy when it comes to meeting new people, altough she warms up after a while. Kathryn uses most of her time studying, practicing magic, and reading books. While she actually really likes the water, she usually stay away from it to hide her secret.

Soul elements: Ordo, Water, Illusion, Spellweaving

Soul Points:
1 Water
1 Dark
1 [III] Illusion

Abilities:
Kathryn is a mix between a water mage and an illusion mage. If she had to decide which one she prefered over the other she would have a hard time choosing, although she would probably choose Illusion magic in the end and she uses it much more frequently than her water magic. That is of course not counting the constant spell she uses to hide her tail. When it comes to ice magic though she isn't even a beginner. It's basically a untrodden area for her. While she has had some experience with spellweaving, she's still very much a beginner in this area.

In addition to that Kathryn also has a few spell glyphs with her that will help her mask her tail. Kathryn is constantly casting a shadow spell on her tail making it look like normal human legs. While the spell itself is much harder to see through than Kathryn's own illusion magic, the legs that it produces aren't normally strong enough to walk around with, which is why she has the wheelchair. Normally such a spell glyph will hold for around a month. However if Kathryn wants (or needs), she can burn up the whole glyph, giving her 10 minutes where she can use her legs to their full potential.

In addition to all of that she also plays the piano rather well, and it is one of the ways that her part of the family does weaving.

Gear/luggage: Essentials, her wheelchair, her smartphone, a ton of magic books and other magical stuff from her dad, message from her dad to the school saying that she already have some form of education within magic and she wishes to practice slightly more complcated topics (she doesn't want to be bored in class), 10 spell glyphs that will help her mask her tail (more explanation in abilities section). She also have 2 glyphs allowing her to create a really strong torrent, and a glyph allowing her to create a shadow illusion of a normal minion that does around 90% damage if seen through.

Bio:

Kathryn is one of the younger members of the Tetra family. A bit before the time when she was born the family had decided that it wanted to try a a new race. Thus after two weeks of weaving, Kathryn was the first member of the Tetra family as a mermaid. As Kathryn grew older she felt rather isecure about this fact as everyone viewed her as an experiement, as something new. As such, her father began to cast an illusion spell on her tail to mask it, in hopes that she would feel better, which she did.

Kathryn began her magic studies at the young age of 6. At this time her studies mostly were about what magic was, how it could be used, and so on. Her real practical use of magic didn't start until a few years after that. Her father was for the most part the one that was in charge of her education. Like most other children in the Tetra family she was homeschooled to get the perfect mix between magical knowledge and normal knowledge. When she was around the age of 12 she began to learn more about illusion magic. For the most part she only used figments and glimers. It was first later that she was introduced to the more powerful illusion types.

The year that she turned 15 years old, the whole family traveled far away to observe a total solar eclipse. However that was not the only reason, as the family was also going to take arouna a month's time to construct a spell glyph to take advantage of the eclipse. Once the day came, and the eclipse started, the head of the family activated to glyph. Just then it was as if like the world around them began to fade out of view. Once the eclipse reached totality, it finally stopped. It was quite clear that they were not quite in the material realm anymore, just a slight bit outside it. The Tetra family reffered to this area as the "Ether", not long after they began to hear voices, not from the family, but from somewhere else. Her mom simply told her to listen to the voices, while talking normally to the people around her, just like the others were doing. "We're much closer to the Aether at this point, so close that we can draw them out and hear them" her mom said. There was also a group of people that gathered together. One by one they spoke up, yelling out as loud as they could some message they had to the aether. Before Kathryn knew it, fourth contact happened, and they lost contact. Soon after that they were back in the material realm.

After the ritual Kathryn felt that she had encountered something new in her life. Before that ritual she knew about magic, and she could perform magic, but it all seemed to distant. After having listened to the Aethers for herself though, she felt she had a different perspective on things. From that moment she wanted to learn more about magic and the Aether, just like all the others that had been there before her.

After that two more years passed, until her father said that she was most likely knowledgable enough to go to university. Most Tetras usually went to TSU when that time came. Kathryn was a bit hesistant at first as she was afraid of the material getting repedetive, and the tasks beeing too simple, as she already knew a bunch of magic stuff. However when her father said that he would write a message to the headmaster informing him about the situation she agreed.

Reason for joining the school: Her family required that she did so.

Notes:

She also has two siblings, one brother and one sister named Lisa (which is still at the school, altough she started a few years ago). I'll make NPC apps for them soon enough. Defietively Lisa.

The Tetra family:

The Tetra family is a rather old, but big family of mages that have for the most part focused on water, spellweaving, ice and illusion magic. While other mages laughed at the idea of spellweaving, the Tetras took it in and learned it, over time growing more and more proficient with it. The family's goal itself is simply reaching the highest amount of magic there is. Another trait that makes the Tetra family special is that they have a more personal bond with their aether. For the most part, most people in the Tetra family have a bigger capacity for mana, in addition to bigger throughput for it. Around every 10 years most members of the family will come together at the site of a solar eclipse to weave a spell glyph for a month to use the eclipse to get closer to the aether.

It is not possible to classify the Tetra family as a single race. Instead they see it as a trait that can be changed at the birth of a new member of the family. They do so by weaving a specific part of the family knowledgable in alchemy weave a glyph that will aid in the task. The more common races in the family is elves, humans, nymphs, and they're latest attempt at something new, mermaids. For the most part, most humans anv elves, and a few nymphs are naturals.

While the family is considered one of the more powerful ones, most of them don't participate in most types of duels. The reasons for this is split, but is based much on they preference with magic. Spellweaving is often banned for giving an unfair advantage to the user, as it allows more than one person to indirectly participate in the event. Illusion magic also places them at an disadvantage as, although it's not banned, it's not as effective in combat where the opponent knows that they'll be facing an illusion magic user. Instead the family prides itself as being much better adept at "real" combat, and they do participate in tournaments that relax the rules to allow for the Tetra family's style of magic.

NPC: Lisa TetraName: Lisa Tetra

Race: Nymph

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Spoiler

Personality: Lisa and Kathryn are in many ways similar, however that doesn't mean that you can't separate them. Lisa is much less shy than her smaller sister. She is also normally the one that is the more calm and relaxed of them, while at the same time being more knowledgeable. This is partly due to her age however. While Kathryn can be explained as a bit arrogant, Lisa is more of a proud person. She also has a more fun and happy side, something Kathryn doesn't really show to the same degree.

Info:

Lisa is Kathryn's older sister. She's already been going to TSU for two years now, so this is her third year. While Kathryn is by many in the family looked on as an experiment, Lisa is instead seen for what she is, an excellent mage that might one day live with the other core members of the Tetra family. In terms of abilities, she follows a style that can be described as a more classical approach to the Tetra family's choice of magic. She is a natural at both water and ice (although she prefers ice), both efficient and fast when it comes to spellwaving, and while she doesn't have as much focus on it, she is also fairly proficient with illusion magic. She has also dabbled a bit into a few other magic types like crystal and vector.

FIRST APP DONE. 2ND APP WILL COME SOON.

One app for my new (and an old) characters! (Though one isn't really new, just VERY heavily reworked.) When I get done with this one I'll work on my 2nd character.

Andrew

Spoiler
Name: Andrew Smith

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Age: 19

Appearance:
Spoiler

He stands at 5ft 11.

Personality:
Andrew can best be described as a very quiet, calm guy who'd rather just sit back read a book (or just study) rather than actually go in and initiate a conversation. Due to this Andrew is often thought of to be very shy, almost to the point where he just does not like others. That's not true however, as Andrew does enjoy another person's company. He just does not like it when said company gets too loud or active, or tries to force him into a scenario or situation involving something he does not like at all. Though Andrew is not really shy, one thing he REALLY does not like is direct eye contact, as it makes him incredibly uneasy. Hell if he knows you are staring at him directly, and not anyone else. Then that could actually induce full-blown paranoia along the lines of "Oh god why are they staring? Do I have something on my back? Is my hair a mess? Do they like me!? OH DEAR GOD!!!" Sort of paranoia. In such a situation for too long, and he can actually end up having a complete panic-attack before passing out (which he sometimes calls his mind's version of a 'self-defense system' at times.)

Other than that Andrew is a bit more thoughtful than his close friend/step-brother Drake. As while Drake would probably not leave a tip or be in too much of a rush to apologize, Andrew would stay behind and actually apologize for him and leave a tip for the waitress/waiter. Not only that, but in an actual situation where he needs to interact with others. Andrew tries to maintain a more professional demeanor, and try to keep things reasonable, and logical. Often trying to think of a solution to a situation before actually acting. Though this does provide a problem as he will often end up thinking for too long, and the problem would have already been settled. This can sometimes leave Andrew feeling a bit 'left out of it.'
He's also rather protective over his journal which he records a LOT of info on based on observations, especially well... some embarrassing things about others. Which is why he hides his journal from others. After all he knows he has recorded and written some rather... sketchy stuff he's witnessed that could get him into a bit of trouble with others.

Also Andrew unlike his step-brother is unintentionally suave. He's a bit of a ladies man without meaning to be, and that's just because he's a bit more well mannered around the ladies. Though honestly... he's legitimately shy around a person of the opposite gender.

Lastly talking about his actual blood parents is a real... well... rough point. Don't mention or ask him about his actual parents.

Soul Elements:
Ordo, Air, and later on down the line Summoning honestly.

Soul Points:
Air: 1 point.

Mana: 2 points.

Ordo: 2 point.

Abilities: Magically he does not honestly have much to go off on. He knows some VERY basic spells involving ordo and mana, but can't do much else. He is however a rather quick learner, and is quite observant. After all you can't miss much if you are observing as much as you can. (Though people have accused him of being a pervert. Also this isn't much of an ability but there is not much else he's special at other than being rather smart for someone his age.)

Gear/luggage: In his luggage he has brought with him a few changes of clothes, his handheld gaming console, laptop, Smart Phone, toothbrushes, and a few spare notebooks.

Bio:
When he was younger Andrew did not live in very good conditions. His parents were usually off exploring the world ever since magic had become a very big thing, and they just wanted to see all the types there were across the globe. As such for the longest time his Grandfather was the one who took care of him. Due to this the two became rather close, and over the years their relationship grew stronger. This did not mean Andrew didn't enjoy seeing his parents though whenever they showed up. In fact he seemed to be a bit overjoyed when they came to visit... but then they eventually stopped their travels. A few years went by and he did not see or hear from them, and both him and his grandfather eventually thought of the worse.

Then one day a letter from them came in, and it showed they were still alive. Andrew was rather happy, but upon reading it his heart broke. His parents had written how much they 'loved him', but also how much they 'hated the thought that they can't travel with him at all, and that how they ended up falling in love with the current place of residence and decided to start life anew there'... and they ended up giving his Grandfather full custody over Andrew as they 'would not be able to support him the way they wanted.' In short he found out that his parents would rather travel the world together than have anything to do with him. It did upset him, but honestly... he still had his grandfather to look after him, and that made him feel rather alright.

That all happened at the age of 9.

For the next three years to follow that letter, life was decent. His Grandfather couldn't continue affording a proper education from an actual school, but at the least his Grandfather was capable of getting others in the neighborhood to help teach him anything he might need to know. This ranged from helping out in gardens, learning math from a freaking construction worker, to writing and grammar lessons from the local Librarian. In the end he ended up quite well off... Then more tragedy struck. His grandfather fell rather ill when Andrew was just 13. They did not know what Andrew's Grandfather came down sick with, but one thing they did know was that there were traces of sulfur that had mysteriously appeared in his lungs and bloodstream, and it was causing some damage that just could not be repaired for some mysterious reason. At the time Andrew did know what this meant. Just that his Grandfather came down with something that was causing sulfur to form in his lungs.

Eventually his Grandfather had passed away in the middle of the night... When Andrew received the call he was staying at his neighbor's for the time being. Andrew didn't sleep for the next few days...

It was a whole month before Andrew even left his Grandfather's home... which would soon be sold. After all Andrew was far too young to receive it and become an owner, and anyone else in the neighborhood couldn't take it off their hands. Soon Andrew would be left without a home... or any real family. That was until a organization that was formed to help humans and supernatural beings get closer together and live in peace came into the picture. They offered to give him a place to stay. A family that was willing to take him in, and even give him everything he needed to live a proper life. At first Andrew was... hesitant, but after a few days of thinking Andrew accepted the offer. That was when he finally met the Diaboli family. A family of demons. Namely Crossroad Demon and his human wife (long story of how they met) that were given permission to live on Earth outside of the blood moon as part of a social experiment, and that the mother and father of the family would not make 'deals' that would cost a person their soul UNLESS they were summoned by someone to do so, and was only limited to one person a month. Thankfully the family were able to transport their home (a rather large mansion), maids and butlers, and things to a nice place on Earth away from most people.

Upon meeting the Diaboli family Andrew was not really impressed, just a bit scared on the inside. This made him a bit of a shock to the family as they expected him to be disgusted, or terrified of them. The youngest member of the family at the time, a half-demon named Drake. Was only a year older than Andrew, and he did not like the thought of sharing a space under the same roof with a human. As such Drake often picked on him much like an older brother would, but with a bit more hostility. Which surprisingly did not seem to phase Andrew much. After all he just recently lost someone he loved closely, especially after pretty much losing his parents who REFUSED to take him back into their lives. Any physical damage would not match the emotional damage he went through. In fact the whole situation with losing his grandfather had seemingly effected him badly enough to make him a rather quiet, and meek indidual.

Over time though Andrew started to talk up a bit more, and after a rather... harsh... talk down to Drake as to why he's so 'sad' and how he 'doesn't really want to live here', and a few more choice words... Drake... began to feel a little for him. In fact it was after that moment that Drake was finally smacked off his high horse and began to treat Andrew a bit morekindly. Hell Drake was even said to have become a bit more protective over his step-brother. Slowly life was beginning to get more tolerable for Andrew, and now he had someone else who seemingly cared for him a bit. Eventually he did begin to feel like he had a well... family.

In fact after that Drake and Andrew did a lot of things together. They hung out, even if they found interests in different things. They were even taught some very basic magic together, and had gotten a pretty decent education growing up (well Andrew did, Drake often tried to skip class or got into detention often. Usually Andrew ended up having to 'bail him out.') It was safe to say that the two were quite close.

Soon the two became the US legal age of adulthood. Andrew 19, and Drake 20. They had graduated out of school, and had to go off to a University. Unfortunately most Universities would not accept Drake's applications, but would accept Andrew's. This would often result in both of them denying any invitations. As the two had made a vow. If they were to go to college, they would do it together... and eventually they both got accepted into one. A University known as Trinity Soul University. A place that teaches magic, as well as other more 'normal' things that you'd expect at a university. A place that also accepts being of many different races. Hence why Drake and Andrew was accepted.

They were both honestly excited for this, but Drake seemed more so. Finally he gets to go someplace with other supernatural beings, but also learn more about magic, as well as be with his step-brother Andrew. While Andrew was quiet about it, he was just as excited. Mainly because he got to learn more about magic, complete his education, and well... he and Drake got accepted.

Now they are on their way to the University.

Reason for joining the school: Andrew is going because he does want to finish his education as well as learn about magic. Though a major factor is that it was one of the few places that would accept a half-demon like him.

Favorite Book: His notebooks (this is a joke! In reality he doesn't really have a favorite. Though he does tend to enjoy books about myths, urban legends and the like. The world may have magic, but there are still mysteries out there he wants to explore and discover.) He also enjoys Drama.

Favoite song or music type or band:
Quiet, atmospheric ambience. Things he often listens to on his phone when reading.

Favorite foods:
Mainly anything sweet, and slightly salty tasting.

Disliked Foods:
Even though he likes things that are sweet, you should NEVER give him anything with any sort of caffeine in it. He hates caffeinated beverages with a passion, and he has the problem of being unable to handle caffeine as easily. Let's just say the last time he had caffeine it involved one energy drink, and him needed to be locked in a closet by Drake.
He also doesn't entirely like sour foods, and despises overly spicy dishes.

Favorite video game:
Stardew Valley. Farming, marriage simulator for the win! In fact he does tend to enjoy certain games like it more than others.

Sexuality: Straight.

Hobbies: Reading, Writing, and drawing in his notebook.

Dreams for the future: Honestly to finish his education, find someone to fall in love with and start a family of his own, and then lastly... actually find his birth parents and give them a piece of his mind. Though that last one is a bit of a secret. Not only that but he also has a love for the supernatural. Basically even though the world is filled with magic and who knows what when it comes to races. There are still things out there that cannot be explained easily. Like reported 'UFO' sightings, and cryptozoology, which surprisingly enough in this world hasn't been fully debunked. A lot of reported 'cryptids' haven't been fully discovered. Andrew kind of wants to go out in the world and solve those mysteries one day.

Drake:
Spoiler
Name: Drake Diaboli

Gender: Male

Race: Half-Demon

Age: 20 (yes. 20 as in human years.)

Appearance:
Spoiler

http://imgur.com/ciGMlSa

He stands at a rather striking 6ft 8. Rather tall for even a demon of his age. He also has two VERY small black horns on his head that are barely poking out of his hair. Each one is on the top of his head, in places that almost make them look vaguely like cat-ears. (Which people often mistake about oddly...)

Personality:
Drake can be described as the complete polar opposite of his step-brother Andrew. While Andrew would often try to refrain from initiating a conversation, Drake would often be the one to start an encounter with a stranger. Often without much fear or worry about what might happen. As such Drake comes off as much more outgoing, and lax than his seemingly more tense, and 'shy' younger step-brother. In fact Drake is more likely to state his mind and be more blunt about expressing his feelings compared to some others (even in his own family... aside from his human mother.) If he finds something boring he'd freely show it in not just body language, but even try to make it a POINT to show that he's bored out of his mind. Which is quite often as he has a bit of a shorter attention span compared to Andrew. It's harder for him to stay in one place for too long before he starts to get a little bored.

That does not mean he's a total asshole and just try and walk out. If there is something important going on, he'll try to stay there and listen/help out. Though honestly it'll be painfully obvious that he'd rather do something else. This contrasts his appearance as he often wears the 'family uniform.' A white suit, and a large black fur... scarf that he rests over his shoulders. In fact most people who do not know him at all will normally probably think that he's just a snobby rich brat, or a well mannered individual. Which he is a bit of both. His boredom and preference to do his own things (except when it comes to helping his step-brother), makes him come off as a complete jerk to some people. While in an actual situation (like an important meeting he'd be invited to with his father. Then he'd actually behave like a well-mannered individual.)

When it comes to his younger step-brother though he's surprisingly protective. Often if Andrew gets into a situation (like getting bullied) expect him to quickly PUNCH THE FIRST BULLY IN THE FACE LIKE A BADASS- I mean quickly come to Andrew's aid. Aside from protectiveness, Andrew and Drake share a close brotherly bond despite not being related by blood. In fact Drake is the one to often come out of his comfort zone and socialize a bit. While Andrew often gets Drake out of trouble himself (usually with staff members and the like), as well as get Drake to calm down and smell the roses once in a while (before he begins to pester Andrew about how bored he is.)

When it comes to romantic interests though he's not that picky. He'll flirt with just about anyone honestly (though is more prone to do it with women.) Often times his flirtatious nature will get him in trouble, and he'll end up needing Andrew to help him get out of trouble (and sometimes Andrew knows when to preemptively stop Drake from doing something he's not supposed to.) Even though Drake might be highly flirtatious towards others, that does not mean he's the kind of guy to go out of his way and harass a woman through physical contact. Yeah he'll sneak glimpses and peek at women changing (or if they are in a position that might accidentally show... well... you know.) However Drake will never go out of his way to physically touch, or harass a woman. In fact he hates it when others will go up and harass a woman. If he catches someone touching a woman in a way that is clearly making them uncomfortable, and the guy clearly did not have the consent of the woman. Well... last time something like that had happened, he was expelled from highschool during his first year, and was not allowed back in until his father had managed to mess with the system to help him get back into school (namely through blackmail.)

So he may peek and try and catch glimpses of women. But Drake will NEVER go out of his way to physically make a woman uncomfortable. Hell if he is caught staring at a woman when she's bending over and he has a full view of her rack, and the woman seems pissed. He'll try to actually apologize. The second though that someone begins to physically touch a woman in anyway that might make them feel uncomfortable and Drake sees it, then he won't hold back.

Soul elements:
Blast
Entropy
Blood
and lastly... Dark. This is namely because of him being a demon.

Soul Points:
Dark: 1
Entropy: 4

Abilities:
Drake as a half-demon has strength and speed much like that of an olympic athlete, and his reaction time is surprisingly higher than one as well. He can react fast enough if he's heard say a gunshot, then he'll immediately drop down to the ground.

When it comes to endurance he's quite tough. As a half-demon he can withstand a bit more pain, and if he gets injured he can regenerate albeit slowly. As a Half-Demon his healing factor is less than that of a full blooded demon. Say if he gets shot in the shoulder, he'll feel pain and it will effect him like a human, but as long as he can remove the bullet from the wound it will heal fine within a few hours. Injuries to fatal locations such as the heart, lungs, and even brain can be actually fatal unlike some demons. He'll have to have immediate surgery to remove the bullet and make sure everything is alright before his body will heal (and even then it will take at least a few days to heal.)

Injuries to bones also take a bit longer, like he gets a compound fracture, it'll take at least 2 days for it to heal.

On top of that he can breathe underwater for extended periods of time. At least for an hour before he needs to resurface. That's the lung power of a half-demon. Full demons can remain underwater for twice as long if not indefinitely.

Gear/luggage:
Drake didn't honestly bring much. Hell he only really brought his cellphone, a few sets of clothes, a uh... body pillow of his favorite (unnamed) anime character, and a toothbrush. Honestly not much else as he'll find his own fun.

Bio:

Drake Diaboli. Half-Demon son to a full (Crossroad) Demon father, and human mother. The story of how his parents met was a rather interesting one. As his mother and father both met during a deal. One day when his mother was just 14 years old she performed a ritual to summon a crossroad demon in hopes of getting what she always wanted. Fame as a famous guitarist. The deal was her eternal loyalty and sevitude come 10 years time. 10 years did not seem that bad, and... how bad could loyalty to a demon really be? Due to this thought process she deemed it as everything she needed, and in turn she accepted the deal. After a few weeks her music became quite well known her city, and soon. The state. After all someone so young becoming so talented was rather interesting, and her deal with a demon was kept secret. Things were going good for quite a long while. Hell she even had a record deal set up... but by that time it was her last year of freedom. She had gotten so into her newfound fame, that she had not realized how fast the years flew by.

The night before her big recording session at the local station was when it was all seemingly taken from her. As the demon that she made the deal with came to her. When he came to her she panicked, freaked... she did not want to go. Though this did not seem to make the demon change his mind. After all he has dealt with much worse clients. Though... he was willing to strike another deal. She marry him, and become his wife. In exchange she can keep her fame and her freedom. With this as the only way out, with the other being her giving up any and all freedom. She chose to accept it... With that her life as a wife to a demon began.

Life at first wasn't so bad. In fact it went rather normally, albeit awkwardly. She had married a demon she did not know that well, but the demon did not seem to mind... Over the course of a few years though, the demon began to get a little tired of her energy and 'pep' that she possessed. In fact what he was hoping to be a more traditional husband and wife deal, practically became her becoming head of the... rather large household. Though she did seem to actually warm up to him, and surprisingly... love actually did blossom. Soon the two even had their first child. A daughter they named Scarlet, and eventually they had yet another. This time it was a son... and his name was Drake.

It wasn't long after Drake was born though that the US Government had managed to get in contact with the demon realm, through some help from the Daichi family. Namely father of the current headmaster of Trinity Soul. They offered a bit of a deal... a social experiment. The demon, his human wife, and two kids would be allowed to lvie freely in the human realm in order to help bring Demons AND humans, as well as other races a bit closer together. Hell they were one of the first families to have half-demon half-human children since the Pact with the Demon King regarding the new Blood Moon festival in honor of Demons.

This seemed to be quite interesting, and with it they had accepted the offer. With that their family, and their mansion was magically transported from the demon realm to a secluded location in the middle of a forest deep in US state of Maine. A rather quiet place, but honestly it was a solid location. It wasn't too long of a drive to a city, and honestly... things were good. Drake and Scarlet managed to grow up as rather decent individuals (Drake not so much.) All until one day... where another member of the family was added. Or rather... brought in. Andrew. A young kid who lost all his family for different reasons, and was asked if he'd like to move in with them. At first the family was actually quite a bit quiet towards him, but accepted him in regardless. Drake not so much.

Drake was a bit jealous as he was no longer the only 'male child', and that Andrew wasn't a half-demon or even full demon. Not that Drake was against humans, just that he saw Andrew as weak and not a real part of the family. Slowly Andrew did warm up a bit to the others in the family, but Drake was slow to. In fact he would often bully Andrew in an attempt to get Andrew to leave. Then one day something surprising happened.

Andrew was just sitting outside under a tree in a rather secret (or what he thought was secret) spot, and enjoying a good book when Drake confronted him. Drake began to dig into him of how "he wasn't a real part of the family, and that he won't ever be..." and he kept going on and on about it. Until Andrew eventually snapped. The quiet, and normally calm Andrew quickly shot up and with a fist that was surprisingly coursing with a bit of mana, punched Drake dead center in the face. Normally it wouldn't be much, but the spark of mana that suddenly embued in Andrew's fist had caused a bit of a shock within Drake that knocked him back. This was surprising. What was more surprising was Andrew's face. He... was absolutely livid, but had tears in his eyes. Hell his fist was surprisingly badly bruised from the force of the punch he dealt. Drake was confused and surprised by this... and what Andrew was saying.

Andrew had literally dug into Drake verbally of how he never got to know his parents, he never got to say goodbye to his grandfather. He told Drake of all the pain he felt, and that with the Diaboli family... he could almost forget the pain... and that how Drake was the only thing honestly keeping him from getting over it completely...

Drake never meant to cause Andrew to feel that way, in fact Drake was beginning to feel bad... but he started to laugh a bit. Andrew finally 'showed some balls', and was honestly a bit happy about it as well... After explaining everything... and actually sitting down and talking. Drake and Andrew began to get along more and more. Soon they became almost inseperable. They did everything together. Hang out, go to school (help Drake get out of trouble due to skipping school, and on one occasion helping him skip school), and eventually... graduate.

Now they are on their way to TSU.

Reason for joining the school: Namely because it was the only University that would allow him in (due to him being half-demon as well... well... his poor graduation score.) Also because he gets to go and keep an eye on his younger step-brother.

Notes: He's Drake, and he is a virgin. Despite what he says otherwise.

Favorite Book: Mostly manga, harem-manga's mainly.

Favoite song or music type or band: Rock music. A taste he shares with his mother.

Favorite foods: Strawberry Parfaits, and steak. In fact a good strawberry parfait is enough for him to show a bit more of a 'girlish side' as Andrew calls it. The steak it doesn't matter the type, or how it's cooked.

Favorite video game: Fittingly. Devil May Cry. In fact Dante is a bit of a role-model for him.

Sexuality: Bisexual. As long as it has a pretty face and nice ass he'll flirt with it.

Hobbies: Playing games, reading manga, skipping class, and hanging out with Andrew.

Dreams for the future: Get Laid (he doesn't really have any real 'dreams' as we speak.)

Heads up to anyone making an app. I added a new question to the applications that I forgot to put on before. It basically tells us all what elements your character can learn, even if you don't put any of your starting five points towards it.

Now that hats out of the way time for my app.
Spoiler
Name: Ukana

Gender: Female

Race: Kitsune

Age: 117

Appearance: 4 foot 9 or 150 CM her ears make her 5 foot 2 or 158 CM

Personality: Ukana is very mischievous and can be somewhat immature. Despite her troubled past, she has a good sense of humor and loves good jokes, pranks and puns. She is usually very passive aggressive towards humans, but can befriend them if they are kind hearted. The fox is brave, adventurous, loyal and ambitious.

The kitsune is not above harming or humiliating anyone who she feels deserves it. Greedy humans and proud creatures tend to be her primary targets. She doesn't like rich people or anyone who reminds her of the man who sealed her mother.

Soul elements: Entropy, Fire, Restoration, illusion

Soul Points: Five in fire

Abilities: Ukana can transform into a little human girl and posses weak minded females. She can also turn into a fox with two tails. She's a novice fire user who can form wards, create flaming projectiles, redirect fire, put out small fires and do various other tricks with flames. While she can create fire from thin air, having a lighter certainly helps. She can hold fire with her bare hands or keep it from burning her body so long as only the flames are only covering a small surface area of her body. She can make a level five fire ward and heat objects just by touching them. This can be used to make tea or cook tofu.

Gear/luggage: Ukana has a lighter and a cell phone she had stolen. She has a suit case full of clothes, a few books and a picture of her mother. She brought some special shampoo, soap and tooth paste that were given to her to keep her hair and her fur healthy.

Bio: Ukana's mother was a great and powerful nine tailed kitsune with power unrelieved by many. When she first came to the world of man during the great link, she was a kind and just soul. She helped humans and all manor of creatures by opening a sort of sanctuary for the wounded. The powerful nine tailed kitsune used high level restoration magic to cute most wounds and illnesses. She served as a noncombatant in the war, but was eventually forced to flee inside the barrier.

It was there she met a young member of the Daichi family. while posing as a human girl about his age, the kitsune eventually seduced the man and was impregnated with his child.

Ukana grew up more as a fox than a humanoid kitsune. She found her four legged form more preferable to the other one. While never knowing her father, Ukana was rather attached to her mother, never leaving her side until she turned 15. Even then the fox only ever left her mother to wonder.

On her 67th birthday, the barrier around her home was broken. As a war waged between several powerful magic families, Ukana's mother took her child and fled to the city of Manhattan. They hid there, posing as a young woman and her pet fox for some time. The war eventually ended and the realm of magic was made one with the world of man yet again. Ukana and her mother managed to avoid most of the drama that came from being a magical creature in the land of mortals by hiding, eventually things would get better.

For the next three years it did, Magical humans and supernatural creatures were becoming more and more accepted among humanity. It was slow going, but there was obvious progress. All seemed well until the kitsune's mother met a man. She ran into a charming, rich bachelor with a silver tongue and a heart of fools gold. He was very kind towards the nine tailed woman, often bringing her expensive gifts, food and beautiful clothes.

The fox cared little for the fancy clothing and diamond rings, but she was a sucker for food. After all she had a child to feed as well. The man eventually won her over, and the two were married. Sadly this was no fairy tail ending as they would soon learn. The man discovered his wife's true form. Outraged, she used her true name to seal her, imposing his will upon her to follow his every command.

Ukana tried valiantly to rescue her mother. she lunged at the man and bit into his flesh with her sharp teach. She drew blood almost instantly. The man tried to fight back, but even a young kitsune was mother than a match for him. In an act of desperation and cowardliness, the man ordered the nine tailed fox to attack her own daughter. With tears in her eyes, the nine tailed woman struck her only child, knocking her out with a single blow. The man put Ukana in a cage and sent her off to the local pound. The nine tailed kitsune could only watch as her little girl was taken away from her.

Ukana awake inside a small cage in a dark room with 4 dozen other animals. The constant barking on the dogs next to her made her uneasy. They treated her very poorly, giving her murky water to drink and awful tasting dry food that was meant for dogs. It wasn't until a human child entered the pound looking for a pet that she found a way to escape. the human child wasn't locked up, he was able to roam around freely. Maybe if she looked like him, they wold let her leave.

For the first time in her life, Ukana took the form of a humanoid fox. Seeing a young girl being trapped in a cage, being fed dog food and yucky water was enough to get the pound shut down and the owners arrested. Ukana was taken to the hospital to get better before being taken in by the MSRA.

The MSRA gave the girl a place to live an assigned her a caretaker. They treated her as a special case, groping her with other kids that had witnessed traumatic events, abuse survivors and mentally unstable children who needed extra help. It was a good environment for her. Despite everything the kitsune had been through, she did eventually grow found of her new family.

However after everything that had happened, There was a sour taste in the fox's mouth whenever she spoke with humans. Everywhere she looked, she saw the greed driven humans lie, cheat and willingly harm others just to get what they wanted. Her fear for and distrust of them became apparent in her passive aggressive attitude towards them. True to her nature, she began prancing humans for fun, saving the more sinister pranks to those she deemed truly cruel.

On her one hundredth birthday, the fox finally grew her second tail. She had matured slightly into a young woman, taking the appearance of a 14 year old. With a new tail came new power, and the fox gained the ability to cast fire. Her pranks only got worse from there. Ukana started intentionally burning people that made her. She usually did this indirectly by heating the handle to a person's car to make them burn their hand. But other times she would set a person's clothes on fire.

Her foster parents saw she was out of control, so they sent her to the one place where she could learn how to responsibly use her magic. While unwilling at first, the kitsune eventually went. Her foster mother convinced her by explaining that all the people on the island were magical beings and supernatural creatures like herself. The two tailed fox packed her bags and now eagerly awaits to see her new home.

Reason for joining the school: She joined to get away from non magical humans and learn more about her own magic. She hopes to learn enough to be able to take revenge on the man who sealed her mother

SO many sexy men...I'll have to make a female Character and be Tewi-chan's lesbian lover to make them all feel dejected *Evil plotting continues*

I gazed up at the sable-haired maiden with eyes so full of warmth it appeared she was crying silently. My trecherous mouth opened, "Why do you look so troubled, Princess?"

Slowly, she moved her eyes from the moon to me. She studied my imperfections before her for what seemed to be a blissful eternity before gracing me with her voice, "I've slain this land's only prince. What use, now, is a princess?"

As the maiden left my presence, so too did my heart.

Name of the race: Oni

Gender: Males and Females

Appearance: The Oni are humanoid beings that can be so similar to a Human, or can look so different that it is impossible to share similarities, an example of both cases is in the former of an Oni just having horns or in the other case being blue with multiple horns and toes. The Oni are unnaturally high, beyond most of the human heights, they can show their muscles as part of the strnegth they got, but don't be fooled if you see one of them with a "normal" body, their strength is ridiculously high, and they are able to level mountains if possible. As for the color, some of the more rare Oni have different color of skin, with blue and red being the most common, but most of the species have normal colored skin.

Abilities:The main ability of the Oni is their strength, a lesser Oni can destroy boulders and rocks with not much of a problem and their stamina is of that of Olympic marathon runners, while the more developed ones can deal with heavier objects like something of the size of a truck to even a two story-house if they focus their energy, as for the masters of this species, or also called "ancient" are known for the legends of entire forests being destroyed by their voice, mountains being leveled down by a single punch, and even creating canyons with the force of their foot.

Another ability of the Oni is that their body not only can be powerful enough to cause cataclysmic damage, but also endure attacks, the body of an Oni is far more durable than the ones of humans and something of the caliber of bullets or even vehicles slamming onto them would be like a mere scrap or bruise. Then also comes thier internal strength, the Oni are known for drinking alcoholic beverages as if it was simple water, their metabolism burns any kind of ailment , so it is rare for an Oni to be drunk or ill, but if it happens, he or she needs to be looked, an Oni that isn't in their five senses can do massive collateral damage

weaknesses: This species isn't perfect either, their own pride and ego can be their weakest spot if they think too highly of themselves, this is a thing because a curious fact of the Oni is that they are not that smart, not in the kind of being stupid or mentally challenged, an Oni can be a schollar if he studies for it, but the problem with their intelligence relies more in the part that they are more susceptible to be tricked or that they overlook things when they focus on other situations. It is also said that the Oni hae demonic energy or souls, so priests, shamans and cleansing magic could be a great counter against an enraged or uncontrollable Oni.

History:
Spoiler
From a weathered and ancient looking tome..

The Oni are a kind of youkai from Japanese folklore, variously translated as demons, devils, ogres, or trolls. They are popular characters in Japanese art, literature and theater. Depictions of oni vary widely but usually portray them as hideous, gigantic ogre-like creatures with sharp claws, wild hair, and two long horns growing from their heads.

They are humanoid for the most part, but occasionally, they are shown with unnatural features such as odd numbers of eyes or extra fingers and toes. Their skin may be any number of colors, but red and blue are particularly common.

They are often depicted wearing tiger-skin loincloths and carrying iron clubs called kanabo . This idea leads to the expression "oni with an iron club" (鬼に金棒 oni-ni-kanabō), that is, to be invincible or impossible to defeat in rough translation. It can also be used in the sense of "strong beyond strong", or having one's natural quality enhanced or supplemented by the use of some tool. In addition to this, it can mean to go overboard, or be unnecessarily strong or powerful.

Oni are one the greatest icons of Japanese folklore. They are large and scary, standing taller than the tallest man, and sometimes many times that. They come in many varieties, but are most commonly depicted with red or blue skin, wild hair, two or more horns, and fang-like tusks. Other variations exist in different colors and with different numbers of horns, eyes, or fingers and toes. They wear loincloths made of the pelts of great beasts. All oni possess extreme strength and constitution, and many of them are also accomplished sorcerers. They are ferocious demons, bringers of disaster, spreaders of disease, and punishers of the damned in Hell.

The Oni are born when truly wicked humans die and end up in one of the many Buddhist Hells, transformed into Oni. They become the ogreish and brutal servants of Great Lord Enma, ruler of Hell, wielding iron clubs with which they crush and destroy humans solely for enjoyment. An oni’s job is to mete out horrible punishments such as peeling off skin, crushing bones, and other torments too horrible to describe to those who were wicked (but not quite wicked enough to be reborn as demons themselves). Hell is full of oni, and they make up the armies of the great generals of the underworld.

Occasionally, when a human is so utterly wicked that his soul is beyond any redemption, he transforms into an oni during life, and remains on Earth to terrorize the living. These transformed oni are the ones most legends tell about, and the ones who pose the most danger to humankind.

These oni are the stuff of legends and fairy tails, countless stories of lords and ladies, warriors and rogues that make up Japanese mythology. No two stories about oni are exactly alike except for one thing: The oni are always the villains of mankind.

Originally, all spirits, ghosts, and monsters were known as oni. The root of their name is a word meaning “hidden” or “concealed,” and it was written with the Chinese character for “ghost.” In the old days of Japan, before the spirits were as well-cataloged as they are today, oni could be used to refer to almost any supernatural creature – ghosts, obscure gods, large or scary youkai, even particularly vicious and brutal humans. As the centuries shaped the Japanese language, the definitions we know today for the various kinds of monsters gradually came into being. Today, the word oni generally only refers to this specific category of male demons. Female demons are known by another name: kijo

In more recent times, oni have lost some of their original wickedness and sometimes take on a more protective function. Men in oni costumes often lead Japanese parades to ward off any bad luck, for example. Japanese buildings sometimes include oni-faced roof tiles called onigawara, which are thought to ward away bad luck, much like gargoyles in Western tradi-

The tome was suddenly taken from the reader's hands by a woman with waist length blonde hair, who had a bothered face "Of course we are always depicted to be the villains, this reference is ancient" she huffed and rubbed the bridge of her nose. "Ok, you may be wondering why I'm here, but I will give you some more recent info from the actual source, me."

The horned blonde woman sat on the chair in the other side of the table, in front of the reader. "Ok, yes, we were like that in the past, or at least a great deal of the Oni, can't argue there, but not all of us were sorely focused on rage, evilness and all that gibberish, some of us had other jobs, like keeping monsters and sinners inside Hell itself." she pointed out "The Oni are ridiculously strong, some legends saying that they can level forests with their screams and crumble mountains with their raw strength, of course, they aren't stupid, just imagine an unstoppable army of monster like looking humanoids that can destroy pretty much everything with a single punch or kick."

Taking a sip from her dish with sake, the woman continued, "Now, about the Oni on the surface, some do became like that because of Humans losing their light, thus becoming the monsters depicted in those ancient drawings and exaggerated tales, but not all Oni are evil, they just look different" she said while putting the dish on the desk, yet her hand was still close to it, as if protecting the simple looking object. "Most Oni actually look like humans, but they are way taller, stronger and tend to have either a horn, are more physical, or simply follow more their instincts rather than logic in most cases. But one thing that they tend to forget in those pieces of work, and I haven't found a book, tome or scroll yet, is that oni do enjoy to party and be festive." she smirked.

"Most Oni can be calm if they are enjoying the day, while others need to be practically drunk to not cause unnecessary ruckus, funny thing for being the pinnacle of strength, many are a bunch of lightweights with alcohol."

The woman got up from the chair and looked at the reader "If you want an updated version of how the Oni act, go to the Physical Education class or the earth oriented elemental classes, you are in for a surprise" the blonde gave a slight node and held her chair to push it to its position, the metal of the generic chair was crushed by her hand, but her face showed she didn't notice while leaving.

The Oni appeared after the Great Link, but they decided to live in the underground, it was an easy choice since some of this species looked more like monsters than something the single minded Humans could understand, but there was the occasional problem that created the horror filled legends of the Oni, mostly from the Japanese people. When some of the Oni decided to live with the other species, it took quite the deal to adapt, with the former needing to lower their strength to not destroy doors or break things, but slowly and with patience, the Oni came to be part of the community.

Behavior:The Oni are known for being two things, either they are competitive, or they are drunkards. For the former case, the Oni are usually hyper and optimistic, this being originated due to their bodies always wanting to do something, so instead of breaking things out of lust of power, they focused this energy into challenges and other sports, although it is highly recommended to not play a sport with an Oni since they can be too powerful. As for the latter case, many Oni can be found in bars and spas, drinking alcoholic beverages to satiate their thirst and feel relaxed, but surprisingly, there isn't much problem with a drunk Oni, they show more a relaxed state of mind and even fall asleep.

Biology: The body of an Oni, as explained in the upper paragraphs, have a variety of things that make them stand out, that being two as major things, the first one is that they are unnaturally tall, even the shortest Oni can be taller than the average human, the second one is the horns, most Oni have at least one horn, or they can have a multitude of them arranged as a crown, but this varies mostly of their heritage. A rare trait that some Oni can have is that their skin can be of the tones of blue and red, the darker the color, the stronger they are, but in some legends, an Oni who has the skin color of a Human is one of the strongest in the entire species.

Name of the race: Animalia

Gender: Males and females

Appearance:If someone were to look for what this species is, they would find countless tomes about it, probably enough to fill the fabled Babylon Tower, why is this? because the Animalia people are as varied as the animals in the Human world, the diversity of this group is too big to fit into a single encyclopedia, that is why there are more detailed tomes about each of the species of the Animalia, because not only there are thousands of species, but also subspecies that would drive a scholar into madness if he were to try to collect every piece of information.

The Animalia folk, as the paragraph above says, is an immensely varied group of people who have adapted, be it by evolution, magic, or even a cosmic twist of fate that made them have traits of the animals in the Human World, which is also difficult to classify because each individual can have unique traits, from simply having the ears of a wolf, or the tail of a lizard, to the other side of the spectrum, where the animal traits are dominant, covering the person in fur, scales, or even being able to transform into the "natural" form of the animal they are related with.

Abilities: A fact of the Animalia folk is that they also share the abilities of their animal, like resistance to harsh weathers, extremely developed sensory skills, flight, being able to breath under water, and the possibilities keep going with the more specific things related to what animal the person shares a bond with.

weaknesses:there are also drawbacks or weaknesses when it comes to having traits of the animal the individuals share with, for example, in most canine folk, their ears can hear higher pitched noises, which could also cause pain when in loud zones, others might even share monochromatic eyesight since most animals in Earth can't see in the same spectrum of colors as humans do, even the emotional part of the Animalia kind share the weaknesses, an example is the alleged fear of water from the feline folks or the anger of the bovines against certain colors, but this subject needs to be more explored to write it in an official tome.

History:Like with the constant war that happened thousands of moons ago between the Humans and Aethers, the Animalia people have been at odds with the Human and with themselves.

For the case of the former, there has always been a problem with the Humans and things they don't understand or fear, thus unfortunately taking violence as their first option as a general consensus, there are problems with themselves even, be it by the color of their skin, or the deity they worship, even simple things become problems for this, but when magic became a thing again and the Animalia folk appeared with the other species, problems became a thing again. The Humans tended to look at this group between Humans and normal animals, not so little as the "feral" kinds of them, but not enough to be seen as an equal.

As for the Animalia themselves, there are problems with each of them too, while the more common problem someone would think was the difference between predators and prey, surprisingly, they adapted pretty well to it, balancing their diets into food that would supply their need for proteins and energy. The problem with the Animalia Folk is that they are at odds because of which side to choose from, one being the "Human", the other "Natural", and those "in between".

The first side, being mostly populated by those who have minimum traits of their animal side, want to be with the Humans, some ashamed of their traits, and try to hide them. The second side, being with the population of beings almost fully animal, but being in an anthropomorphic form, that being probably the only trait left to become an actual "animal". The last side, is actually the biggest, which is also the more diverse, tending to avoid the problem and adapt with the different species on the World, this group is the one most people understand.

Behavior: The Animalia are usually as most people, having their own personalities, sharing similarities and being at odds with others around them, but they also tend to act as the animal part of them, an example would be the avian folks, when the seasons change, the need to migrate could incite them to go to the northern or southern places of the planet, or the pack-like animal trait, where some of the same species would gather and feel like being a family, even if they aren't related by blood. Again, to know the behavior of each species, it is suggested to look for the "natural" animal of Earth to get an idea of the possible traits of the Animalia.

Biology:Most of the Animalia are humanoids, with the rare cases of having wings, antennae, pouches, and so on with the traits of each species, as written above, some of the Animalia are mostly human looking, while others can be covered in fur, feathers, scales, etcetera.. other could have horns, tails, sharper teeth and nails, it is almost impossible to list everything that this group of species has.

Have you ever crossed the line between sanity and madness? You would be amazed by what lies beyond the fog..

Name: Isabela Luna

Gender: Female

Race: Wolf Animalia

Age: 20

Appearance: She has red, mid-back long hair and has a height of 1.82 meters, while she has a mostly human looking body, Isabela does share parts with her animal, that being the wolf, having the ears on the top of her head, which move in all directions when reacting to things, she also has a tail, but usually either hidden below her skirt or it is oddly not that noticed

Her body and general look
http://i.imgur.com/fnId1eT.jpg

Personality:She is usually calm and tries to help even though she is shy to people. Determination runs on her blood and she doesn´t give up on what she is doing hoping to help someone. Isabela can have emotional crashes if someone presses the right buttons on her mind causing her to go berzerk in a madness of either sadness or anger.

Soul elements: Ordo, Water and Air

Soul Points: 2 on Water, 2 on Air and 1 in Light

Abilities: Being part wolf has given Isabela the natural abilities of having higher stamina, better natural senses (eyesight, hearing, smelling) and the insticnts to follow when her more logical mind can't solve the situation, her sensory skills are still developing, but they are of great help to observe the area, not only with her eyesight, but also with her other senses. As for magic itself, she is good with water magic, but is still working on it, so far she has managed to work on the second level of water magic, which needed the use of Ordo to make Ice magic, while it still is rather new to the wolf, she can train with it. Curiously for her natural heritage, Isabela is also developing an affinity for Air magic, while it is still on begginner levels like small gusts, she is trying to use it to push herself when doing physic

Gear/luggage: A set of clothes (skirts, pants, shirts, jackets, underwear, shoes and sandals) with similar tastes of red, blues and some blacks, an assortment of books, a wooden flute, and a pocket watch with her family photograph inside of it.

Bio: Living on the woods was the most common thing for Isabela as both her parents lived in the wilderness, although they were also close to the nearby town since they worked as hunters and forest rangers. For the wolf girl, she enjoyed the silence of the snow filled woods, but was apprehensive of the people when she went to school, the redhead was more used to the sounds of nature rather than the sounds of vehicles and crowds.

This went on as the Animalia wolf also learned of her affinity of water and air magic, much to the mirth of her mother as her father would be seen chasing a speeding blur of red through the trees. But there was a worry from the adults, they knew that their daughter was good as a survivalist, but she lacked social skills, at least for their fortune, she wasn't absolutely closed, Isabela only needed to slowly trust new people and she knew of that problem.

Thus, after finding a flyer of a certain school of magic, Isabela and her parents saved money to send the wolf girl to the new school, where she would learn both of her magical abilities, but also grow up emotionally

Reason for joining the school: Isabela wants to learn of her magic and also become more open to the world instead of hiding from it because of fear.

Nah but in All Cereal'nuss, Here's my Sexy Manthing to our upcoming Yaoi fanfic.

Spoiler
Name: Marcus Demere

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Age: 19

Appearance:
Mark appears as an average looking man with striking green eyes. His eyes are sharp and serious, but brighten to a softer less intimidating gaze when he engages in conversation. While he sports a well-toned body from years of athletics, nothing bulges out past his modest clothing, leaving him a very unassuming person. He stands a rough five feet and nine inches but his lax posture usually drops him down a tiny bit. Mark prefers his brown hair to sit just past his ears in length, but it varies greatly as he doesn't get it cut often, giving a variance of several inches. His frame is average--neither springy nor heavy--balanced and well proportioned.

Mark's clothing is average and modest, falling to comfortable long-sleeve shirts and slacks for pants. He likes to wears knee-length shorts when the weather allows him, as it restricts his movement the least. He certainly appears to be most comfortable in warmer weather. In colder times, he has a three-fourths length black wool coat a nice beige scarf, with a worn out maroon beret. He's at least much more stylish in winter!

Personality:
Marcus prefers Mark. He's a simple guy with a good demeanor; generally accepting and tolerant of others. He's a helpful sort and always willing to take on a bit of suffering to make someone else's life nicer, if only for a moment. Despite his vicious looking eyes, Mark is laid back and calm regarding things, patiently waiting for the perfect moment to be the guy who saves the day with calm, practical knowledge. He's content with being a nice guy on the sidelines, supporting his friends and making sure everyone's alright in the end.

Soul elements:
Marcus' highest proclivity toward elements is generally related to an average human.
Ordo; As crazy as we are, we're a race based off structure
Death; Simply the end of one chapter in the book of humanity.
Corruption; We are our greatest enemy
Soul; We have these...
On a much smaller scale, Marcus also has a basic grasp of basic elements and principles of life.
Fire: Man make fire. Fire good.
Water: Drink it and live.
Earth: Its kinda hard to miss....
Lightning: Air is a bit too intangible, but flashy Lightning on the other hand....
Nature: Mix most of those elements together and you get a working planet!
Bestia: See above
Storm: See Above^2

Ultimately; Marcus can learn Anti-Elements for any element he encounters magically, not just the ones above. The ones above simply dont need him to be smacked by or exposed to it before he learns how to slowly learn and apply the Anti-Theorem to it.

Soul Points:
1 Ordo
1 Water
1 Lightning
1 Death

Abilities:
Marcus is strong, and very athletic. He's participated in many sports through-out school, and preformed well. He has good martial knowledge and training due to a strong interest in personal fitness and training. Beyond that, he has no special powers except....

Marcus is a practitioner of Anti-Theorem, the inherent decomposition of magic through its own means. Marcus can potentially negate magic and hamper magical beings. He can not, however, ever use magic himself. Soul points in magical ranks only determine the degree of efficiency he has as disrupting magic of similar elements.

Gear/luggage:
Clothing for somewhere between 7 to 8 days. one winter set, a stylish coat, sweater, scarf and hat!
Cookware and eating utensils.
Toiletries
Some small bookshelves and personal shelves for his apartment.
A Personal Computer
A Smart Phone
A white four-door car! He can even drive it!

Bio:
Marcus was born to a fairly well-off family. His father was a lawyer and his mother a doctor. He never needed for money, and had what he wanted in life. He excelled at school and sports and lived life well until the end of middle school, where the kids took a magical aptitude test. Marcus was reluctant to take the test, because he didn't care for magic or its nuances and simply wanted to live the carefree life of a kiddo! Unfortunately, his parents were in control, and they coaxed him into taking the test, positive their wonderful son would do well, if not extraordinary.

Marcus Demere certainly had an extraordinary result. Of the near hundred students who took the test, he was the only one who showed absolutely no magical aptitude. Suddenly, the awesome Marcus became a joke. He had no magical power, and was mocked for it. His parents didn't reject him, but they were certainly disappointed in their own failure. Marcus had a falling out with his friends, school and family. Despite this, he kept steady with sports, where no one cared about magic and finger wiggling; the boys were concerned with and cared about doing well at sports. Marcus' grades continued to fall and so too did his relationship with his parents and non-sports friends. This trend continued through high school as prodigy Marcus became a nice lone-wolf in the corner.

He passed with sub-par grades and had no plans with going to collage until the end of high school magical aptitude test, which was mandatory in his area for the end of high school. Once again, Marcus scored an amazing negative on his test, and he just played it off as him being him. He was contacted weeks later by a member of MSRA, saying that Marcus had earned a scholarship at Trinity Soul University. Marcus, again, was not interested, but upon seeing the hefty check, his parents forced him to attend TSU. It's not like Marcus had anything better to do in life anyway. At Least school was a comfortable atmosphere.

During a brief orientation, Marcus learned he had a trait that was only recently being explored; The Anti-Theorem of Magic, as they called it. It was the reason Marcus had NEGATIVE Aptitude on his Magical exams, because he didn't have potential to produce the magic, but take it away. Marcus and other individuals with exceedingly high (low?) scores in Anti-Theorem were given large scholarships to attend TSU for further study of Anti-Theorem and its effects. The catch was Marcus was not allowed to live on campus in the dorms and had to commute to school. That wasn't so bad, though....

Reason for joining the school:
Marcus really had no reason NOT to join when confronted by his parents. The Full-ride scholarship and living expenses was nice, and his parents got a nice chunk of money too. It was the most logical choice.
