This is the type of magic everyone is able to use. It deals with abilities not covered by any specific element. attacks using mana are much weaker than an attack with an element, however a mana attack can't be resisted.

I have new magic and an app, two if the magic type is accepted.

      Spoiler: Talisman Crafting

Name of the magic type: Talisman Crafting

Rank you think is appropriate: 2

Type: This magic is something that needs to be learned and practiced, otherwise attempts will have a high chance of failing or holding almost no power at all. Anyone can do it, but it's recently been forgotten in face of crystal crafting, which is more powerful at the expense of intricate control and quantity.

Description: Talisman crafting is more of a way to store small charges of spells than an actual magic form, it does require magical knowledge to do it effectively however. There are many forms of it, from instantaneous-cast spellbooks to ofuda and anything in between, but all involve pieces of paper with some amount of writing and drawings. As the level gets higher, the efficiency of the resultant talisman is improved - more power can be stored, the net loss is less, and it takes less time to make it - there will always be a loss of magic and a limit to how much can be stored. Efficiency decreases more when the rank of the element being imbued is higher.

Please note that paper shikigami is a different thing entirely.

      Spoiler: Svinn Metum

      Name: Svinn Metum

      Gender: Male

      Race: Vampire

      Age: 19

Appearance: He has short black hair, sharp eyes, and decently large wings. He usually wears jeans, a t-shirt, and a black high-collar coat to protect himself from the sun. Occasionally, he would wear some sunglasses as well.

Personality: Svinn is quite vain and loves to tease, which sometimes makes him come off as cruel and occasionally gets him in trouble for it but he means well. He's also very talkative and knowledgeable, so he will be able to tell you a great deal of things, but may ramble for a bit before getting to the actual answer.

Soul elements: Ordo, Air, Movement, Death, Gravity, Vector

      Soul Points:
      T1:
      Air: 3
      T2:
      Movement: 1

Abilities: Much like any other vampire, Svinn is strong, can drink blood, has rapid regen and all that other stuff. His speed, on the other hand, is another thing entirely. He's naturally quick, winning in both running and flying against anyone else, he can also put wind at his back and speed himself up with movement.

Gear/luggage: Mainly the normal things you'd bring when you're temporarily living in some place away from home. Extra running shoes, a formal suit, his father's pocket watch with a small picture of their family, and quite a few vials of blood, which should last him a few months.

Bio: Svinn's lived his entire life sheltered by his parents, they never let him leave the mansion and even only had him drink blood from cups, never humans. In his early years, he raced his attendants around the mansion, eventually becoming quick enough to outpace any of them, even when they were trying. As he grew older, he found himself in his father's library more often, reading every single book many times over. This got him curious about what's outside of the mansion and he asked his parents if he could leave.

It was only on his eighteenth birthday, after learning some magic and being coached on proper etiquette for acting around other races from a personal tutor that his parents decided that it was time to let him go. Of course, they wouldn't simply let him wander the world by himself, so they used their contacts to get him into Trinity Soul University. They figured that being in a school with many other races would allow him to get a lot of experience of the world on its own. And so, Svinn was sent to the university with everything he could possibly need and more, even with clothes fashionable to the youth of the generation.

Reason for joining the school: To learn about the world outside his mansion.

Notes: Svinn is mainly noncombatant, but he will fight if he needs to.

Since the bio isn't too impressive, let's have a little fun.

Favorite Book: Any kind of smutty book, getting into his father's secret library and reading those books always added an extra layer of excitement. Also, teenage boy.

Favorite song or music type or band: It used to be classical/orchestra but it's recently been swaying more toward electronic/trance.

Favorite foods: Cheeseburgers, such a crude and messy delicacy, but a delicacy nonetheless. There never was anything like this back at the mansion.

Favorite video game: Anything competitive is fine to Svinn, but Smash 4 recently became his favorite for the 8-player battles.

      Sexuality: Straight

Hobbies: Reading, racing, and playing with magic.

Dreams for the future: He wishes to travel the world and learn all sorts of new things.

Well here it is. The main man himself. Mr. Daichi.

          Spoiler:

Name: Damarcus 'Marcus' Daichi. Some people don't often call him by his fool name, aside from some of the other staff. Often times he prefers to just be called 'Daichi'. Though just 'Marcus' (short for Damarcus) is acceptable.

          Race: Human

          Age: 41

          Gender: Male

          Appearance:
          Spoiler:

The headmaster himself is a man of fair height. Standing at 6ft 4.

          Personality:
The Headmaster is a rather lax man, and enjoys spending his time at the University's public library reading or even just volunteering to organize some of the sections in it. In fact he is a current part of the book club among students. Something that... some of the other staff might not tolerate. The headmaster in a club with his own students. Well... it'd be a problem if he wasn't the club President. Which he is. Other than that the Headmaster is a slightly gullible man, and is prone to pranks. Yet he often tries to face things with sound reasoning, though his theories towards certain things pertaining to the unknown (just stuff that isn't even understood by the staff) might come off as a little farfetched. On top of that his rather lax nature, even when teaching. Even his methods of teaching (which will be seen in the RP.) May come off as a bit... odd. Hell Hannah often says he'd a bit of an airhead. Which does show at times with a few of his ideas. That does not mean he's in anyway. At all. An idiot. No, in fact he's quite a powerful, smart, and highly competent mage. Hell he became the HEADMASTER OF TRINITY SOUL UNIVERSITY FOR A REASON. While his sister (who was and is far more powerful than him, just wasn't wanting to deal with the responsibility of being a Headmaster. A responsibility that Daichi accepted with open arms.

When he is actually being serious about something he practically becomes a complete opposite of his slight air-headed, lax self. He becomes stern, his eyes becoming absolutely sharp (figuratively), and if he ever becomes angry in anyway at all. Run. If you were the one who made him actually angry. Do NOT try to fight him. He's not one to underestimate. Yes he can be beat, but some of the other teacher's struggle a bit to beat him (though they have managed to beat him before on more than one occasion.) A lot of students, and even Hannah herself on one occasion said that "one of the scariest things to ever see from the Headmaster is his cold, silent, almost judging stare." A stare he only gives very rarely, but when he does you know it. Even if it might not scare you, it can be a bit jarring to see the rather calm and sometimes collected Headmaster lose his polite nature, and become a very quiet and cold man.

Though it is hard to ever push him to that point. Only a few people have ever managed to. One the Pravus family, and secondly. An old student that betrayed his teachings and completely fell off the deep end. That was also one of the first times the Headmaster has ever harmed a student. As well as the last. Though that was a long time ago. Ever since the Headmaster has begun trying to become someone the students could count on and actually trust on a personal level. Not as a staff member. But rather as someone the students could call a 'friend'. This is also something he strives for, and is passionate about. Being a great teacher, as well as a friend to students who might need him.

Though he absolutely hates actual paper work, and often does try to refrain from giving the students well... essay's and the like.

          Info:
The headmaster. Damarcus 'Marcus' Daichi is easily. One of the most powerful, if not powerful of the staff members at the University. Not in raw power, but also in magical knowledge. He's an expert when it comes to Ordo, Mana, Light, and several other similar types of magic. In fact he teaches basic control of magical energies, as well as the main teacher for Ordo, Light, and Cleansing along with their sub-types. His knowledge is very vast, and his power definitely matches it. In fact he dabbles a bit in some other magic types (like the basic elements of Fire, Water, Earth, and Air) though he struggles greatly with Dark magic and the others. He mainly studies and tries to practice in the other magic types in case he EVER needs to fill in for one of the teachers. Even if he can't actually use magic, he has a large amount of knowledge of basic magic control, and how the other types of magic work which he puts into a lesson plan in case he needs to serve as a substitute.

Adding two races for Tristan. Not done yet.

              Dullahan
              Spoiler:

              Name of the race: Dullahan

              Gender: M/F

              Appearance:

Abilities: Possesses the innate ability to unlock and open locks, opening doors, and disabling security systems by getting within proximity of them. It is impossible to bar they way of a Dullahan. When the dullahan stops riding, that is where a person is due to die. The dullahan calls out the person's name, at which point the person immediately perishes. They have incredible sight, seeing in the darkness of night and allowing them to see across the countryside to view people that are to die next. Dullahans do not take kindly to being watched, and will often throw a basin filled with blood onto the watcher (often meaning that they will be next to die), or lash out their eyes with a whip. (Assumed to have the ability to conjure up blood for such a case.) They also have the ability to summon various forms of ground-based transportation, usually horses. The transportation is said to be so fast that the friction causes nearby bushes and other objects to catch fire. as a consequence of having such abilities, they seem to have a natural talent for darkness, death, and blood magic.

Weaknesses: They are frightened of gold, and even a single golden pin is enough to drive one away. Also, if one were to gain possession of a Dullahan's head, the Dullahan would be bound to honor the wielder's commands in hopes of reuniting with its head.

History: Long ago in ancient Ireland, there were tales of these headless riders bringing death to people across the countryside. Not much else is known about these generally solitary creatures, other than that there was a rather large conflict involving them, and that afterwards, they were integrated into society.

Behavior: Most dullahans are rather.. antisocial. More often than not, interacting with one is just asking for injury or death, as they are often on an errand and when spotted, they will blind, kill, or mark the person for death. Nowadays, they can sometimes simply be put off by crowds of people, though there are some cases that are quite the opposite. That, and they are still quite "wild", as they will deviate from social norms, rules, and laws from time to time. One thing that has remained rather constant though is that they dislike being watched, especially if they are currently busy with something. They will not often attack a person for it, but it is a quick way to annoy and anger one.

Biology: They are human in appearance, only their heads are severed from their bodies and a thick smoke seeps out from the stump. They have a vast array of physiques, much like humans do. Also, they tend to have Glasgow smiles. They are more durable than a human, but it is possible to injure them. They have regenerative capabilities and are stronger than a normal human. It is implied they possess a faster reaction time, due to them being capable of controlling their horses at such high speeds. It is not known how long a Dullahan can live, but it is assumed that they either live for hundreds of years, or are immortal.

              Nukekubi
              Spoiler:

              Name of the race: Nukekubi

              Gender: F

              Appearance:

Abilities: Detaches its head at night and drifts about in search of victims. When they find a target, they will either drink its blood like a vampire, or bite it to death. Due to it being a Youkai, it has a slightly higher durability and possibly regeneration.

Weaknesses: If their head is not reunited with their bodies, they will eventually die. Also, a nukekubi can be turned back into a human by feeding the liver of a white-haired dog.

History: The Nukekubi have always kind of lived in the shadow of society, always causing disturbances, but always being hard to spot and appropriately deal with, due to them being "human" during the day. That being said, their presence has become a little more known, and with the advent of modern technology, less killings and attacks have been recorded.

Behavior: Nukekubi act human during the day, but at night, their heads drift from their bodies and wander in search for their next meal, though such behavior seems related to somnambulism. In general, Nukekubi are much more violent than their close relative, the Rokurokubi, as they will sometimes brutally bite their victims to death.

Biology: Unlike the Rokurokubi that can elongate their necks, the Nukekubi can completely detach their heads from their bodies, allowing them to roam much farther distances. It is not known if a Nukekubi requires blood to live, but they possess a thirst for it and will float about at night in search for a blood source. When the head is detached from the body, a faint smoke seems to emanate from both stumps. If a Nukekubi gives birth to a daughter, the girl will become a Nukekubi as well, regardless of whether or not the mother was cured of her affliction.

                    Done
                    Spoiler:

                    Name: Lucas Modry

                    Gender: Male

                    Race: Human

                    Age: 20

                    Appearance:

Personality: Cunning and professional. Lucas is a gentlemen when everyone is watching but isn't above doing rather shady activities.

Soul elements: Entropy Movement Vector light

Soul Points: Movement 2 light 1

Abilities: Lucas can speed up or slow down any part of his body to match whatever he needs. He can slow down some projectiles if they were to threaten him but but only one or two at a time. He can run up to 50MPH and throw projectiles at 150MPH. He can create flashes of light and make low level light wards. He seems to be a skilled hand to hand fighter.

Gear/luggage: Lucas has a set of enchanted goggles that protects him from mind attacks and illusions within reason. If the total level of his own magic power is greater than or equal to the opposing spell, then it will be negated. If the opposing spell is stronger then his goggle will have no effect. He has a smart phone of cores, changes in clothing. He has a laptop, several video cameras and other gear that can be used for various reasons. There could be more that he's hiding.

Bio: Lucas spent most of his teen years on the internet as an anonymous hacker going by the code name "Loki". Through his web surfing he managed to make a few friends with some people in high places. through the favors he did, he gained access to information, money and was provided with a a place in which to spend it. He took part in many of 4chan's events, weather it be harmless trolling or hacking websites, including but not limited to the church of scientology's website, child pornography sites and privet government servers.

Offline he was a straight a student, usually passing out test answers and home work assignments for a generous fee. He played sports, lifted weights and got into the occasional fight after class. But in everything he did, he always used deceit and trickery to come out on top. To him it didn't matter what methods he used, so long as he got the desired result.

You would think that such dishonesty would get some one in a lot of trouble, yet Lucas was so good at what he did that he almost never got caught. The few times he did, he was able to explain his way out of trouble.

His life changed during a game of soccer, Lucas suddenly found himself running much quicker than he should be able too. In fact he was reaching p to 25MPH easily. Sadly he was disqualified from the game for cheating, (ironically) but that didn't make him too upset considering what he discovered. an MSRA agent came to Lucas not long after and explained to him what was going on. With nothing to lose and everything to gain, the little trickster signed up for Trinity soul University to improve his magic

Reason for joining the school: To gain power.

                      Dwarves: (Yes Dwarves.)

                      Spoiler:

                      Name of the race: Dwarves.

Gender: Gender is mixed. There are both male and female's. However there are far more male dwarfs than Females. In fact the male to female Dwarf ratio is about... 20 to 1. Which isn't that good. Thankfully a male dwarf can... well... mate with a human, and there is a good chance the offspring will be a full dwarf. Note. This does not refer to people with the condition known as 'dwarfism'. Rather this is a race of actual people who tend to live deep underground, AND by very nature. Are ever only 3-4 feet tall AT MOST. The tallest dwarf... was only 4ft 6.

                      Appearance:
                      Spoiler:

That's just an example. The build, muscle tone, facial hair, and hair color can vary quite greatly. As mentioned above they only ever get to about... 3-4 Feet tall at most. Dwarves, especially male Dwarves often actually begin growing facial hair in rather large amounts at the age of 10. It's not uncommon to see a Dwarf with a full-grown beard at the age of 14.

                      Abilities:
In terms of abilities a Dwarf is much like that of a human, and an ONI. In fact a few theorize that the two races share a common ancestor, but that is completely untrue. In terms of strength Dwarves are stronger than humans, but only a partial of their strength comes from something genetic. The rest of their strength comes from their constant working. It's merely because they often do a lot of physical work daily. So in terms of strength they are really nothing to write home about though. Yes their are a few dwarves whose strength can greatly surpass that of even one of the strongest humans (without magic), but that's only through intense training a Dwarf can achieve that level of strength. Normally they are usually capable of lifting about 5-6 times their own body weight with relative ease (takes a bit of effort but once they get going they get going.) As their are Dwarves significantly weaker than others (due to them taking up more... scholarly professions.) Their stamina is significantly higher than that of a human's, and the one thing that is absolutely supernatural compared to humans is their endurance. Physically a Dwarf is very resistant to injuries such as broken bones, burns, and illness due to their strong connection with the earth itself. To the point where they can live harmlessly deep underground at the point where it'd start getting rather hot for humans, and the pressure would be intense. They can live at those depths of the earth without harm. Something them and Oni's do often share.

Another thing is a surprising tolerance to booze. As despite their short stature, the metabolize alcohol rather quickly.

Power wise, and by that I mean magical prowess Dwarves are more in-tune with the earth than humans. To the point that they have the ability to tap into the earth and sense things like different ores, gemstones, and whatnot in the earth. As such they often are known to make vast, and rather complex mining systems JUST to get to these precious ores. Even though they have strong capabilities in Earth Magic, they only ever seem to use it for things that not even they can lift (Like large clusters of boulders that outweigh them), otherwise they often try to do everything the 'hard' and 'proper' way. In other words hard, manual labor.

As a race they are quite technologically advanced (they have managed to adapt computers into their rather oldschool tech, but they still prefer to use old fashioned tools to mine and build. Mainly because it's more satisfying and reliable to them.) Dwarves are also very hard-working and with their knowledge and extremely high skills in construction, mining, carpentry, blacksmithing, and whatnot. They are often known to develop small colonies within the span of a few days.

Magically Dwarves are naturals with Earth, Crystal, Metal, and various other elements involving the earth and different minerals. Hell part of a Dwarves main diet are uncut gemstones, and rocks. Because their teeth and digestive track can handle it they will literally get their required dietary amounts of iron in their diets by eating raw iron.

Dwarves also tend to outlive humans by at least a hundred years. The typical lifespan of the common Dwarf is 100-145 years of age common. The oldest dwarf? Still alive at the surprising age of 273.

Dwarves are also rather fierce fighters, are known to be quite skilled with close quarters combat (mainly involving weapons such as axes, maces, and whatnot.) So it's not advised to actually anger a dwarf. Because even without a weapon they are still likely to cause quite some pain... to races that aren't weak like humans (Such as the Oni.)

                      Weaknesses:
Weaknesses. The Dwarves are a rather hardy race as mentioned above. With strength and durability that exceeds that of a normal human. However that does not mean they are the strongest. In fact Dwarves, due to their size and despite their strength. Are actually rather poor swimmers, and try to avoid large bodies of water unless they have the proper gear. Also Dwarves tend to have a harder time learning or making use of non-earth related elements. Say water, fire, air, light, darkness. Dwarves can have these elements naturally, but it's not common for that to be the case. As such Dwarves who usually have their 'native' magic types of Earth and the other mineral related types of magic will have a MUCH harder time learning say... Dark magic, yet will take to learning earth magic with relative ease.

Now despite their enhanced durability and whatnot. They do not have an increased healing factor. As such any injuries they do receive, they'll need medical treatment. Unfortunately Dwarves are quite stubborn. Even if they were to have broken ribs, they'd still continue to try and work. A dwarf. Even with burns, arrows sticking in his skin and whatnot, will STILL try to work and fight. Only seeking medical attention if another Dwarf happens to take them or someone can convince one to seek medical attention. Or if they pass out from their wounds and are taken to a doctor. In short a Dwarf is stubborn and will not often back down from any kind of challenge, even if they are at a severe disadvantage.

                      History:
When the link between worlds was first established, Dwarves had quickly came in and made their way to mountainous regions of the Earth, and through their experience they had sought out the best places to form colonies, as well as their mining systems. After all they needed a place that was rich with the proper resources for development of their colonies. As such mountains, hilly regions, and areas known for cavern systems became hotspots for Dwarves. In fact the first Dwarf colony was established deep in a unknown mountain valley somewhere in the world.

The first dwarf colony was quite big, and the mining system they had went deep underground... really deep. A little too deep. As one day when the Dwarves of the colony were mining, they broke a hole into something strange. A city underground filled with rather tall, strong, and horned beings that were soon to be revealed to be the Oni. The Dwarves weren't really worried though about this. In fact they decided to just keep continue mining, and without much permission from the Oni's of the city they dug their way into, made a sort of hub. A place for the mining Dwarf's of the Dwarven colony above ground to take a break. Hell they even established an underground pub without the Oni's permission. This caused quite a bit of ruckus, as this was seen as quite rude to the Oni, and the Dwarves seemingly didn't care. The mountains above and the earth below, they considered to be THEIRS and theirs alone. As such... they got into conflict.

A war was about to break out when suddenly the Dwarven king, a rather smart and strong Dwarf decided that the best course of action, unless they wanted the entire cave system to go completely collapse and dooming them both. Would instead be to do a sort of series of challenges. Sort of like an olympics. Where the Oni would challenge the Dwarves to some things Oni are good at, and vice versa.

Things were... tied surprisingly. The Dwarves won 5 of the 10 challenges, and the Oni won the other half. There needed to be a tie breaker... one thing both races were good, and fond of. A drinking contest. A contest to see which side could drink the most booze before passing out. The Dwarves were somewhat aware of the Oni's drinking habits, and decided to send the chief, and previous Dwarven king. The strongest and most hardy of Dwarves. A dwarf that could beat other dwarves in drinking contests EASILY...

The Dwarven King stepped up, and after five long hours of heavy, intense drinking. The Oni won, and the Dwarven king lost. Taking their defeat begrudingly, they took their king and left the mining system and their mountains. Though... unfortunately a day later their king managed to die to severe liver damage. This was a bad time for the Dwarves. The King's son did step up to take the throne, but their beloved king and chief was now dead... and they blamed the Oni for it. Soon rumors and tales about how the king died began to spread "the king was poisoned in the drinking contest!" and whatnot was beginning to spread a mere year after. Though it wasn't true. The Oni were just so much better at handling their booze. That didn't stop the Dwarves from holding a grudge against the Oni...

Skip to current day. Most Dwarves and Oni still hate each other, in fact Dwarves aren't that comfortable with other races all too much. The tale of how the Dwarven king in the past had died was stretched and twisted in so many ways, and only a few Dwarves know the actual truth of what happened. Now though Dwarves are currently friendliest with humans who 'seem to respect and acknowledge their skills in the craft of construction and smithing.' Due to this Dwarves and humans have gotten along rather well, and often humans when seeking help with large-scale construction. Come to the Dwarves for resources and tips for buildings.

                      Behavior:
Dwarves are... territorial, often grumpy towards others, but to each other are rather friendly, loud, and somewhat obnoxious to outsiders. Normally Dwarves are not the most social of races, except when it comes to business. In which they'll happily take part and interact with you. Like... say you need help with construction, blacksmithing, or even a mining facility. Dwarves will HAPPILY talk with you to try and make a deal. Other than that they'll mind their own business and wouldn't give two shits about you unless there is a nasty severe threat about. Then they'll be more likely to help out without anything in return.

Outside of business transactions Dwarves often have a desire to live in the mountains, or any location with large hills, canyons, or cave systems. It's mainly their love for the earth (in other words the ground. Not entirely the planet, but they do try to take care of the planet to an extent.) As well as stick with eachother. Naturally Dwarves share a close bond with each other. Almost like a sibling style bond. A Dwarf will almost always be there to stick up for the well-being of another Dwarf. Though this does not mean a Dwarf won't laugh, make fun of, or just insult another Dwarf. Sometimes the insults will be genuine, but half the time it's more of a harsh joke sort of deal. This can be mainly seen when groups of Dwarves gather around in a pub and start drinking and having fun. When drinking Dwarves become far more social, having a hell of a lot of fun while talking about their days work and whatnot. Though they are often prone to getting into nasty barfights (sometimes just for fun.)

Dwarves tend to naturally prefer proffessions that are for more 'hands on'. Such as the above mentioned mining, smithing, and construction. When working Dwarves will show a strong amount of teamwork that's quite surprising. Also despite their nature to insult or mock their 'brothers' (not literally, but figurative brothers. Other Dwarves), a Dwarf's pride is their strongest attribute. Never insult their work. Their craftsmanship. Even if it's a little shoddy (which is rare with how Dwarves are known for construction and smithing.) Then prepare for some trouble. If you insult one Dwarf, then other Dwarfs will jump in to defend them. Though praise their work and show proper respect, and give them really good booze. Well... You could very well have a loyal ally for life.

However Dwarves are known for their temper, and their racism a bit. They are NOT afraid to talk their minds when they see something they dislike or just hate. As such they are often described as 'ornery little fuckers."

Their pride also is a weakness as they often will NEVER back down from a fight. Or challenge. Or job. Regardless of threat.

Also never confuse a actual Dwarf with someone suffering from dwarism (a human who is actually short due to a medical condition.) Or you might get a headbutt to the crotch. Or cooch.

                      Biology:
Dwarves as mentioned above. Are MUCH shorter than humans, and despite that they are physically stronger and more hardy. They are more resistant to heat, and cold. Their skin and bones are more durable. With some describing their bones being like metal sometimes. In fact due to their size and strength, Dwarves need to eat actual rocks, and other minerals and metals to get their recommended doses of vitamins and minerals in their diets (like iron.)

Their height is almost always usually 3-4 feet max. Any taller is often quite rare for a Dwarf.

                        Jason Stone
                        Spoiler:

                        Name: Jason Stone

                        Gender: Male

                        Race: Human

                        Age: 20

Appearance: Dark brown hair, brown eyes, brown bomber jacket, sand colored long sleeve shirt, a black undershirt, black belt, blue jeans, and blue and white sneakers. He stands at 5'10" and weighs 180 lbs.

                        http://i.imgur.com/6h77gJb.jpg

Personality: Relatively calm and relaxed, but can seem somewhat distant when meeting someone new. This isn't because he's cold, it's because he is used to a lifestyle that teaches one to have an isolated personal life. That, and due to the violence of his city, Jason is also wary of new people, always believing that it is never a good idea to trust anyone completely. He prefers to mind his own business, but when he sees someone in need or a problem that needs to be solved, he will step in and help, even if he seems reluctant to do so. Most of the time, it seems as if he has something on his mind, and usually it's true.

Although Jason may seem rather odd, cold, or even a little awkward at first, he is someone that can be counted on. He is deeply loyal to his friends, and is not one to take them for granted. When around those he trusts, his distant demeanor seems to melt away, revealing a rather friendly and outgoing person.

Jason is also very reluctant to use his magic, almost as if he is afraid or uncomfortable with it. Because of this, Jason will usually rely on his own physical abilities, and when he does use his magic, he tries to use the bare minimum. When it comes to his magic, Jason is an underachiever, but not because he is lazy.

Jason is also very perceptive, intelligent, and observant, usually picking up on things that other people tend to miss. He shows creativity in finding solutions other people may not have considered, and exhibits superior knowledge in how things work and noticing patterns, allowing him to modify things and solve puzzles. He also has a good grasp on chemistry, due to his rather.. shady business decisions.

Jason still feels guilt over the death he had caused, and it is one of the primary reasons he does not want to use his magic. Simply put, it is a sensitive topic for him.

Soul elements: Mind, Ordo, and Entropy.

Soul Points: 5 Mind (Rank 1).

Abilities: Mind-based magic. This ranges from telekinesis to telepathy, pretty much anything relating to the mind. He is only a rank 1 in this magic, so at most, he will hear the occasional "whisper" of people's thoughts and will be able to make objects levitate and fly.

Gear/luggage: Clothes, a multi-tool he uses to practice his abilities on and uses as a universal tool, headphones, earphones, a music player, a smartphone, a few packs of gum, a few books, and toiletries.

Bio: Jason was born in a rather normal household to two rather average parents; his mother, Yuko, being a nurse, and his father being a construction worker. Jason only knew his father for 12 years, for when that time came, his life changed forever. It was a freak accident, and nobody was really at fault, but an incident at the site his father was working at had claimed his life. When his mother received the news, she was devastated, but despite that, she still strove to take care of their only child, Jason.

Although Jason's mother had a job with decent pay, it still wasn't enough to keep up for long. Eventually, Jason and his mother had to move to a more affordable home. This presented its own problems as the neighborhood was not as safe as their old one. As the years passed by, it became more evident that his mother was barely able to keep them in a home. She was always so tired and he rarely saw her. Because of this, he decided to get a job delivering pizzas when he turned 17. Although this was enough to relieve some of the stress on his mother, it just wasn't enough to help her from having to endure sleepless nights and working overtime.

One night, it all seemed to get worse when Jason could faintly hear quiet sobs from within his mother's room. Jason quietly made his way to the slightly open door and peered inside, only to see her huddled at her bedside, phone beside her as she buried her face into her hands. Jason hesitated to enter the room, but after a deep breath, he pushed aside his fear and opened the door further.

In an attempt to try and keep Jason blissfully unaware of how close they were to living on the streets, Yuko told him that she simply missed his father, but he could tell that was not the true reason. Despite that, Jason simply accepted her lie and tried to comfort her the best he could. After his mother had eased from her distress, Jason left and returned to his room. Although Jason seemed concerned but calm through the entire ordeal, he was extremely worried for his mother. That night, Jason lay in bed with the lights off, replaying the events from earlier, trying to think about what may have really been causing his mother to cry. He kept trying to formulate various reasons as to why, but the more he thought, the more they seemed to make less sense, as if there was a disconnect between his current knowledge and the possibilities he came up with, as if he had a second mind. Even stranger was the dream he had when he finally succumbed to sleep.

In that dream, he had gotten up to get a drink of water from the bathroom sink. After quenching his thirst, he looked at himself in the mirror, but was greeted with a rather unearthly sight. Instead of seeing himself, bed-hair and all, he saw a ghostly visage of himself. It had some small differences, like the hair being a little shorter and the unnaturally blue eyes, but he could feel that it was him. He whispered things to himself, telling himself that he needed to find another job. He did not know why, but this dream weighed heavily on his mind, as if it was the most important one he had ever had. That morning, Jason awoke with a newfound sense of resolve and a solution. No matter what may happen or how he would do it, Jason had to find a way to make extra money. It became an obsession, and he would do anything to satisfy it.

Days passed, then weeks, and finally a month, but even after searching everywhere and leaving no stone unturned, he was left empty-handed. Jason paced around his room in defeat, frustrated from failing at every turn. His anger built as he recounted every "no" he heard, everything those employers must have thought, this aging house, these now failing flickering lights in his room. It seemed like the world just relished in all the tragedy he had felt so far, from the death of his father, to this. The lights flickered once more as he knocked a chair over with his hand, and then he remained still. There was one solution he had yet to try, but even now in his most desperate hour, he was hesitant. It was illegal, but it was the only other option he had...

It was night when Jason had gone out to the streets, all in the hopes to find a buyer. It was such a nerve-wracking experience from walking down the cold and dark streets, to receiving the money and going back home. Despite his fears and the risks involved, it payed very well and convinced him to do it again. Soon, Jason had enough money to keep his mother and him in their home, and even bought himself a few luxuries he would have never been able to buy before. When asked how he could afford such things, Jason simply said that he had been doing various oddjobs around the city. Soon enough, the hospital that his mother had been working at had finally closed down, leaving Yuko out of a job. Thankfully, the money that Jason had earned was more than enough to pay for their home, though he had to pretend that he could barely afford to pay for it all, as to draw away suspicion.

Unfortunately, his good fortune would not last forever. Word spread that an unaffiliated party had been selling and distributing cheaper priced drugs, and was deemed a threat to business. With that in mind, a local gang set out to eliminate the competition and called to meet with him at a motel for a business request. When Jason got there, he was greeted to sneers and weapons. Jason was fleet-footed, but could not outrun his pursuers forever. Although he lost most of them, three still remained, and had cornered him in an alleyway. Jason dispatched one of them with a steel garbage can and another with a nearby wall, but as he focused on the last one, the others had finally caught up. It all happened so fast, but despite his best efforts, Jason soon found himself being held down as one slowly approached with a knife.

He struggled hard against his attackers, but it was not enough. Jason screamed out in frustration as he thrashed about and tried to break free, but it was only met with laughs and jeers. If only Jason had not come to this alley, if only he had not gone to that meeting at the motel, if only that man did not have that knife. Jason clenched his teeth as he tried once more to fight back, giving it all he had to force himself free.

Unbeknownst to everyone, trashcans began to vibrate, garbage bags burst open, and litter began to float in the air. Just then, a loud bang echoed through the alleyway, followed by a bunch of screams and the scattering of footsteps. It all happened so fast, but when Jason opened his eyes, he bore witness to the horror lain before him. The knife the thug was holding was entirely shattered, and the attacker laid there, motionless. Much of his right side was obliterated, as if a large explosion went off right beside him. Jason simply sat there, motionless until police arrived.

Reason for joining the school: As per the agreement between the MSRA and the Court, Jason must attend the school to "rehabilitate" and learn to better control his magic.

                        Tristan Markey
                        Spoiler:
                        Name: Tristan Markey

                        Race: Dullahan/Nukekubi

                        Age: 21

Bio: Tristan's father was a Dullahan, and his mother was a Nukekubi, resulting in him being a mix of both. Life was fairly normal for Tristan, at least as normal as a supernatural being's life would be. Unlike the old ways of the Dullahans and Nukekubis before him, Tristan was raised in a tamer environment where supernatural beings and humans coexist without too much trouble. Despite the fact that Dullahans don't hunt people like they used to, Tristan was still expected to be proficient in his craft, his natural skills. Unfortunately, Tristan had been anything but that. Sure, compared to a human, Tristan holds an impressive amount of control over Darkness, but he is nowhere near satisfactory when compared to others of his kind. Because of this, his parents urged him to join Trinity Soul University ever since he as 18. Of course, Tristan refused, thinking that if anything, he would simply terrify everyone there. After enough time, his parents were able to convince him to go.

                        Gender: Male

Soul elements: Dark, Blood, Death, Entropy.

                        Soul Points/Power: 1 Dark (Rank 1); 2 Death (Rank 1); 2 Blood (Rank 1)

Darkness is an innate ability that Dullahans possess, primarily used for "death magic", primarily by killing their victims by simply saying their names. Luckily, Tristan is not a full blooded Dullahan, so he does not have to worry about killing people by accidentally saying their names. Similarly to a Nukekubi, Tristan can make his head float off his shoulders, but it is accomplished by a combination of natural ability and Darkness magic, and thanks to being part Nukekubi, it is much easier for him to keep his head on his shoulders, making it easier for him to pass off as a normal, if not somewhat strange looking human..

With Darkness magic, Tristan can summon weapons, armor, horses, various objects, and if he puts enough effort, can even temporarily alter his environment, twisting and infusing it with a tar-like Darkness. With the weapons he creates, he can make them effect either a person's physical form, or their spirit/life force, draining them of energy until they collapse, and depending on how much damage was done to the target's spirit, die. Affecting a person's spirit/life force with his weapons is a weaker form of "death magic" an innate Darkness sub-type all Dullahans possess.

Due to Tristan being a Dullahan, he also possesses the innate ability to unlock locks, open doors, and disable security systems simply by getting within proximity of them. It is impossible to bar they way of a Dullahan. Not only that, but when Tristan wills it, he can induce fear in others. On top of that, Tristan also has superb eyesight and enhanced vision, allowing him to see those that are about to die from a distance. Due to being a combination of Unseelie Fairie and Youkai, Tristan is stronger, faster, and more durable than a human, and cannot die by normal means and will often shrug off even the most fatal of wounds, quickly regenerating and recovering from injuries. Thanks to his lineage, Tristan also has the supernatural ability to manipulate whips, allowing him to perform tasks with them that could not be possible for humans. He is able to alter whips in is possession to form spikes, solidify into swords, grow extra tails, bend and curve to his will, and extend and retract.

Luggage: A couple changes of clothes, a phone, a laptop, a human spine, a couple of books, and toiletries.

Appearance: Tristan is relatively normal looking, except for what appear to be stitches along his cheeks, and a very faint scar across his nose. The stitches are actually made up of Darkness and allow him to appear human. Without them, Tristan has a very wide mouth that stretches to each side of his face, giving him a terrifying appearance.

                        http://th06.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/...ak-d5ukv3z.jpg

Why did you come to the University?: Despite the fact that Tristan would be considered proficient in his magic type by human standards, Tristan is sub-par when compared to other Dullahans. Because of this, his parents urged him to attend the university. After some time, his parents finally managed to convince him to go.

Personality: Tristan is usually a laid back individual, preferring not to bring too much attention to himself, but on occasion, he exhibits a manic, wild, almost insane personality. This is mainly due to his nature. After all, he is a Dullahan, a species that invokes death upon mortals and fear in their hearts. When in a calm mood, Tristan is easy to get along with, and enjoys the company, but if anyone stares at him or bothers him when he is either running an errand, or busy with something, he will quickly get infuriated, and will sometimes attack. A strange thing to note about Tristan is his strange fear of gold. He doesn't flee from the presence of gold, but like the normal fears humans have, it can sometimes be terrifying to him.

Other: Not only is Tristan very skilled with whips, he is also proficient with swords, axes, hatchets, scythes, cleavers, and various other weapons. Similarly to a Nukekubi, Tristan is weak against spiritual attacks. It's not fatal, but it affects him significantly more than physical attacks. Tristan's only real weakness is his head. If his head is destroyed when out of his possession, he will die. Also, if anyone gains possession of Tristan's head, he will end up under the current owner's control. Unlike normal Dullahans, Tristan obeys the wielder of his head more out of fear of its destruction as well as wishing to reunite with it, and will try to steal his head back if the opportunity presents itself.

                        Also, gotta have a theme(s).

                        Something fun.

                        Natsu Castor
                        Spoiler:

                        Name: Natsu Castor

                        Gender: Male

                        Race: Half-Warlock

                        Age: 20

Appearance: At first glance, Natsu looks human, though on closer inspection, he does not seem completely human. For one, his eyes are a soft purple and sometimes have slit pupils. Not only that, but there always seems to be a rather heavy magical aura about him as a consequence of being half-warlock.

Personality: Although cold and serious on the surface, that is not always the case. It would not be accurate to call him a shut-in, though at times he can exhibit such behavior, due to his near-constant pursuit of knowledge. It would be more accurate to say that when it comes to magic, he is a very driven individual, sometimes overlooking others in pursuit of magical growth and the accumulation of knowledge. In the few cases he has free time, he still seems just a little stoic, but is not one to push away interaction. That being said, he does appear to have a great deal of pride in his abilities and does not suffer fools lightly.

Soul elements: Entropy, Mana, Lightning, Fire, Blast, Storm.

                        Soul Points: 2 Lightning (Rank 2); 2 Fire (Rank 2); 1 Mana (Rank 1)

Abilities: Adept at hand to hand combat and imbuing his body with his own magic. Due to being a half-warlock, he is more naturally talented with magic, though does suffer a higher susceptibility to anti-magic attacks. Meanwhile, although he is part Aether from his mother's actions, he does not have the full effect like a witch or warlock would, and has an aether pair like most other humans.

Gear/luggage: A few pairs of clothes, a laptop, various books (666 Rituals Every Warlock Should Know, Hexes and You, Liquid Magic: Potions and You, The Lusty Kitsune Maid: Tails 1-9, Salutations to Incantations, Runes for Dummies, Aether Theory, The History of The Trinity, Ghosts and Goblins: A Bestiary, The Great Link, The Great Magic War: Vol 1 & 2, Magic Combat Theory: Vol 1-7, MAGIC MISSILE!!!: Offensive Mana Magic Applications, Danmaku for ⑨'s, Ride The Lightning: An Electric Guide, The Ring of Fire: A Beginner's Guide, Fire in The Hole!: Fire and Blast Magic, Deadly Lust: A tale of Demonic Love, The Art of Artificing, etc.), an ornate ceremonial dagger, a couple potions, and toiletries.

Bio: Ever since Natsu was a small child, his mother had always emphasized the importance of knowledge and magic, how they were not only a source of power, but a driving force, that all living beings pursued knowledge for not only the betterment of themselves, but the betterment of their community. Morality should not be a major factor when such information could be of benefit for all, and as long as the reasons were appropriate, risks were to be taken. Unfortunately, not everyone in the world saw things this way and believed such ideals to be quite immoral and illegal. Despite that, he was taught the ways of the witch and warlock in secret, all under the protection of the coven. He learned not only how to strengthen his magic and mind, but his body, even going so far as to learning of the aether.

When Natsu came of age, his mother gave him a choice. Unlike many of the other witches who were against the rules the Trinity imposed, she believed in the idea of freedom, freedom to pursue knowledge in any way one saw fit. Because she valued such a thing, she bestowed him that choice as well. He could either choose to go to the school and learn much of what others would learn, as well as see another point of view on the philosophy of magic, or he could go under the tutelage of a witch or warlock in the coven, learning the ancient teachings of magic, as well as see what secrets lie in wait in the world of magic. Natsu already knew much on the ways of witches, so hoping for a new source of knowledge, he decided to apply for TSU. His mother respected his decision and bid him farewell, wishing him luck on his journey for knowledge. Luggage in hand and a thirst for knowledge, Natsu set out for the school.

Reason for joining the school: To get a broader understanding on the philosophy of magic, as well as learn all he can from the school.

                            This is done.

Looks good sus. Also i think this is a good a time as any to start assigning dorm partners so if your character(s) are planning to stay at the school dorms then say so here. We'll try to work out who goes where and with whom.
