New experimental rule for the rp. Depending on how this works I may or may not keep the rule and the rule may or may not be added to the overall rules of the rp section.
Starting now all IC post reservations will last for 12 hours instead of 24. TRXD's last reservation will still get the full 24 hours as it was made before this rule was posted, but that will be the last one unless I decide this rule was a bad idea.
The reason for this is because more often than not i see people posting at the last possible hour or letting the time run out. The pace of the rp is already slower than I would like it to be and people frequently making 24 hour reservations isn't helping that problem any. It's even worse when a busy person isn't able to post when they are available because someone else has made a reservation.
If you're going to make a reservation then you should have the intention to post as soon as possible as to not hold back others. I understand if you're at work or school and you can't post until your out, that's fine. But 12 hours should be more than enough for one work shift or for you to get out of class.
