John was confused as to why the man made such a brisk pace away from him. He stood there until the man was out of sight, trying to figure out what just happened. John was a little satisfied that he had a name, but he still needed to know why he elicited such hostility from John. John was naturally calm, an emotionally unmovable wall. John needed to know why, almost as if it was an obsession. there was something about this man that didn't quite feel "normal", aside from his appearance and name.

"Hang on! I need to ask you something!", John shouted as he ran into the south part of the city, hoping to find the man again.

"I'm just a wanderer." Koishi replied, smiling at the little horse.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

No matter how fast John ran, it seemed Aatrox has left the town and went towards the South. His words, however, lingered in John's mind, as both a belittling taunt and an inspirational message.

From high above, Aatrox looked down at the frantically-searching John, and said to him inaudibly, "We shall meet again, brave warrior, Until then, sharpen your mind and train your Pokemon with love and care. When we meet again, we perhaps might become enemies..."

"Oh, that's cool. Our family's a wandering herd of Ponyta too." The Ponyta neighed and began to gallop away. "It was fun talking to you! I'll see you around!"

"Okay, bye!" Koishi waved as the Ponyta left.

Kogasa looked at Koishi with an odd look. "Why didn't you fight it?"

"Because it didn't want to fight. Simple." Koishi said, while Kogasa kept that look.

John searched everywhere in the south section of Oreburgh City, but to no avail. The strange man, Aatrox, was nowhere to be found, as if he just disappeared into thin air. John was feeling like his old self again, but he couldn't take his mind off of Aatrox. What was Aatrox? John couldn't explain it, and the more he though about it, the less it made sense. After a couple moments, John gave up his search and cleared his mind of the confusion. Right now, he needed to find Renamon and tell her about his change of plans. At least he was in the city already. John lightly shook his head and continued down the street, this time searching for his partner, Renamon.

Sherry had a strange feeling in her gut about the current situation. The man was obviously injured and needed medical attention, but the agent couldn't help but think there was something else amiss. It's probably the wounded pokemon, she thought to herself. Although she knew Yuuka for only an hour or so, she smiled when she realized she could handle herself. Besides, a wounded pokemon under the care of a talented trainer wouldn't bother the green-haired woman.

She huffed and heaved the man towards the north, allowing Claire to scout ahead for anything amiss. Yuuka could handle herself, but this injured trainer could not. He needed the help, and Sherry was the only one around who could give it to him. She felt his weight and grunted against it.

"Don't worry, alright? Let me get you to Rustboro. You need help." She looked for the man's eyes and gave him a determined look. "I'll find your pokemon. I promise," she said.

"We're heading off!" Crystal eagerly shouted as Leaf and Lyrica followed closely behind. The Route during the day was bustling with trainers of all ages: youngsters looking for training to elderly experts meditating alongside their master-like Pokemon. The wild Pokemon were also seen a lot during this time of day, showing their faces out to the unsuspecting trainers.

"Did you find out what's up with your Pidgey?" Leaf asked Lyrica as she caressed her Bulbasaur.

"Tha... thank you." The injured trainer nodded as Sherry took her to Rustboro City, oblivious to what happened to Yuuka... or perhaps what she is doing to the poor biker gang.

Yuuka had her foot on top of the bigger gang member. The thinner one was knocked out cold.

"Dammit bitch, we get it, we're sorry!" The bigger one grunted.

"Hmm, you were all talk." Yuuka shrugged. Lilac and Kappa was able to knock out the gang's Pokemon with ease. Deeming that their loss was unacceptable, they attacked Yuuka. However, while they had the street-smart, they didn't realize that Yuuka had her Pokemon for counterattack. It feels wrong to make them attack humans, but it's for self-defense.

Yuuka looked back at Larvesta, who looked at Yuuka with curious stare. "What are you looking at? Come with me if you want to get patched up."

Yuuka left the scene, with the wild Larvesta, now Yuuka's, following closely.

"Oh? Mystia? Well..." Lyrica looked up to where her Pidgey was soaring in the skies above. "I think I know...She's a special variant of Pidgey. The thing I couldn't figure out is what would it mean? Aside from feathers being a different hue, what would make variants special?"

"Different Genome... Mutation... Physical variance..." Leaf listed out all the factors Mystia might have to get her golden fur while Crystal went and provoked a group of young trainers.

"Sure we'll accept your challenge!" The boys nodded. "If we win two out of three times, you buy us lunch."

"And if we win, you buy us lunch!"

                    "Deal!"

"Alright!" Crystal said, and then turned to Leaf and Lyrica. "Guys! I snagged some trainers to battle!"

Hoenn Region - Rustboro City --> Medical Clinic - @Wriggle

Sherry wasn't used to carrying people around. She was usually the one to be carried, to be cradled like some kind of helpless youngster. An embarrassed curl of her lips showed that she neither hated that nor loved it. She had told Chris back in Edonia that she could take care of herself, and she set out to prove that. She could survive, relying on her skills alone. Looking at the trainer she realized she was doing a damn fine job of that.

She entered the city of Rustboro again and looked around for a medical center, a clinic, or any place that admitted human patients. Her first thought was to direct the man over to a pokemon center, but that wouldn't do any good. The kindly nurse behind the counter was used to operating on pokemon, not people, even if some biological aspects were the same. Huffing from exertion, she looked to Claire for input. The little Tailow offered what looked to be a shrug with a tilt of her head.

All the while she looked around, she made sure to keep up a conversation with the man. Keeping him conscious was a good idea, and she wanted him to be at ease. Like a mother with a injured child, she wasn't going to let him suffer alone. After a bit of searching, Sherry found a medical clinic near the Trainer's School and admitted the trainer into it. She set him down on a chair and alerted the nurses before turning to him again.

"Stay here," she ordered. "The people here will help you. I'm going to go get your pokemon back, but until then you're no use to anyone in your condition. Just rest."

And with that, the female agent walked out of the clinic and wiped her brow. She felt Claire land on her shoulder again and smiled in relief. That relief would not last, however, as Sherry realized that she left Yuuka behind. She had no attachment to the green-haired woman, but she was a potential ally. Like Chris Redfield, she wasn't about to leave an ally behind when she could assist. So, she set off towards the southern exit of Rustboro and looked out towards the forest.

Minutes passed... 10... 20... 30... Eventually an hour. But Yuuka was not seen exiting the forest... Until...

"Run for your life!" Yuuka was running, with Kappa on her head, Lilac running with her to the left and a strange larva-like Pokemon with fiery wings flying to her right. Behind her followed a wild mob of Beedrills chasing, angry that their hive was interrupted.

Sherry looked on with a smile as Mac and Claire introduced themselves properly. She had lost track of time waiting, and the only release from the torment was watching her pokemon converse and interact with each other. Mac, at first, tried to assert his authority as the trainer's first and best pokemon, but Claire didn't back down. He eventually conceded defeat when her chirps and pointed poking got the better of him. The Taillow, as small as she was, wasn't about to take any guff from anyone. The nickname of Claire was a good choice, Sherry thought to herself.

The agent looked up from watching her pokemon play tag with one another and noticed a few shapes moving up the bridge from the south. Curious, Sherry got up from her seat and approached the exit of the city once again. To her surprise, she saw Yuuka running with her pokemon, and two new creatures she had not seen before. One looked like a little brown fox while the other looked like some kind of strange moth, or flying larva, but that was what a moth was, right? There was no time to think about it when Sherry realized that Yuuka was running for her life.

"Uh, guys?" Sherry shrieked, alerting Mac and Claire. "Get ready for action!"

It was just a formality. All three of them knew that they couldn't do a damned thing against those bee-looking things, even if Mac was proud and Claire was brave. It was suicide to go against a whole horde unless there was some kind of elemental/special attack loosed against it. The best Sherry could do was call out to Yuuka as she took a few apprehensive steps back.

"Yuuka! The water! Dive into the water!"

Before Lyrica could make a comment to Leaf, Crystal called them over.
"Oh dear~ Here we go then." Lyrica chuckled. Mystia flew down and landed on her arm that she held out for her Pidgey as a perch. Diggy popped out of the ground with almost a guilty look as he had a berry held safely in one claw. "Drill!" And with a quick glance about he shoved the berry in his mouth before taking his place by Lyrica.
"So, Lunch huh? Alright then..." Lyrica chuckled. "Shall we get this show started?"

"Take care of Fraxinella for me!" Yuuka asked, referring to the Larvesta. "Fraxie, go to the blonde lady over there!"

The Larvesta quickly changed courses, heading towards Sherry. Beedrills did not take pursuit towards the Larvesta, and instead focused instead on Yuuka and her two other Pokemon, who jumped into the lake. The Beedrills, afraid of water, stopped their chase and grudgingly went back to their forest.

"Goddamn." Yuuka swam back towards Sherry who stood near the shore of the lake. Kappa was gliding through the freshwater happily while Lilac immediately climbed on top of Yuuka's head: for she could not swim.

"You wanna go first, Lyrica?" Crystal asked, her eyes begging Lyrica to concede. "I mean, I kinda wanna go first (A lie. She really wants to go first.) but if you really want, you know..."

"Fraxinella?" Sherry repeated to herself, confused. She looked at the white larva pokemon flying with what looked to be flames at its red points and grimaced. "Uh..."

She wasn't sure if she should have been intimidated by the bug pokemon because of its fire or because of the odd way it was flying. She also wasn't sure if she should be cautious because of the fire, or if she should find the creature cute because of its silky-white head, or thorax. Her uncertainty made her hesitate when she found the Fraxinella, or Larvesta, hovering in front of her. Mac shot a look at her that Sherry interpreted as 'You don't know what you're doing'.

"Uh... Okay... Mac, come on," Sherry mumbled as she made her way around the Larvesta like someone would with a downed power line. "Here, help that brown fox."

As Mac the Machop reached over from the shore of the lake to tend to that terrified looking Eevee, Sherry came forward a bit and held out her hand to Yuuka. She noticed Claire perched on one of the bridge's posts and figured the little bird was keeping watch. Either that, or the Taillow was hoping for a Beedrill to come out for a fight. Sherry hoped the Taillow would be very, very disappointed if that was the case.
