Hoenn Region - Route 104 - 8:30 AM --> En Route to Petalburg City
Sherry picked a few leaves and bristles out of her hair as she walked out of Petalburg Woods via the southern exit. Rolling after every leap and bound from the multiple ledges in the woods was fun, but picking out the debris that came from the action was less so. The agent must have inherited Leon's vanity, or at least his self-consciousness. She dusted off her trousers and huffed a sigh of relief, glad to be out of the woods and back into the bright morning sun. Mac rolled his shoulders and beamed, humored by all the rolling his trainer went through.
The trainer looked out at the route she was on and caught a glimpse of what looked to be an Asian-styled dwelling overlooking the western beach. She had passed by here before, but she did not spend too much time inspecting her surroundings. Perhaps the person who commissioned that building was an old person in their retirement. Good view, Sherry thought to herself. She did not see the small dock that was built next to the building, for it was out of sight.
Turning her attention to the road, Sherry and Mac trudged forward once again. They stopped at a berry patch and picked themselves a few berries for the road, mostly Oran and Pecha berries. Sherry attributed the Pecha berry's taste to a strawberry, as it was very sweet. Mac didn't seem to enjoy Pechas as much as he did Oran berries, though. Sherry figured her new partner, Claire, would enjoy the berries, so she pocketed a few extra. With her berry pouch a little bigger, the agent turned south and made her way through the grasslands on her way to Petalburg City.
