Sinnoh Region - Oreburgh City | 9:50 AM

John continued to look around the city for Renamon, but no such luck. Giving up on trying to find her, John decided that it was time to head to the local pokemon center...

Sinnoh Region - Oreburgh City | 9:53 AM

John entered through the pokemon center's glass sliding doors and took a quick subtle glance at his surroundings. A few people were staring and whispering, but nothing out of the ordinary for John. John walked over to the counter, where the nurse stood.

"Good morning! Welcome to the Pokémon Center. We restore your tired Pokémon to full health. Would you like to rest your Pokémon?", the nurse asked John.

"Yes.", John calmly said to the nurse.

"Ok, I'll take your Pokémon for a few seconds.", the nurse said as John gave her Aegis and Astron's pokeballs.

The nurse then placed both pokeballs on some kind of white slab with six indentations on it, where the pokeballs perfectly rested. The machine gave of a soft hum, and after a couple seconds, the machine beeped. The nurse then removed the pokeballs and handed them to John.

"Thank you for waiting. We've restored your Pokémon to full health. We hope to see you again!", The nurse said to John as he took his pokeballs.

John gave a light nod to the nurse, then began to walk out of the pokemon center.

"Thanks." Yuuka said as she entered the Pokemon Center. The Pokemon Center of Rustboro City was larger than both Petalburg's and Oldale's, and the overall stone building style made the Pokemon Center of Rustboro City traditional and, through that, more cordial.

"Welcome to the Pokemon Center!" The nurse of the Pokemon Center greeted Yuuka and Sherry. "Oh dear, you had an accident didn't you?"

"Yeah I kinda fell down into the lake." Yuuka sighed, consciously covering her torso by crossing her arms. "But besides that, my Fraxinella, that is Larvesta, is injured."

The nurse examined the Larvesta that shrugged back nervously. Looking at it closer, the Larvesta's gash across the head was worse than they all expected. It almost looked as if she was stabbed through with a switchknife or a blade. It was amazing how calm the Larvesta could stay with a cut that deep.

"Dear dear, this is serious. We must treat it before the wound becomes infected." The nurse hoisted the Larvesta on her arms. "In the meanwhile, I shall treat your other Pokemon as well."

The snowy wind soon took the Butterfree's will to fight as she took flight away from the battle and into the Bug Catcher Jeremy's Pokeball.

      Snow grew to Lv: 11!

"Not bad!" Jeremy grinned. "Then how about you face my Dustox?"

Dustox was a moth-like Pokemon that looked even more poisonous than the Butterfree, with green tattered wings, yellow antennae, and stylized compound eyes.

"Snow, get back, you've done your work." Koishi said, as the Snorunt waddled back, almost bumping into a rock.

"Tenshi, get out here!" Koishi pulled out the pokeball, releasing the Graveler from it's rest. He looked around a little until he saw the Dustox and made a smirk. "Heh, finally somethin' to battle."

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

Sherry wasn't the biggest fan of confined spaces, but this pokemon center put her at ease. The stone bricks fit in nicely with the general rocky theme that the city carried, and the colors contrasted in a good way that made the center cheerful and welcoming. This was very important for a trainer or pokemon down on their luck. Sherry looked towards the counter and couldn't help but smile.

The nurses at the centers were very kind and understanding, even if they occasionally scolded trainers for being too reckless with their partners. Their bubbly persona combined with their cheery appearance helped ease trainers and establish a bond between them and their patients. When the nurse examined the Larvesta, Sherry could see the subtle twitches of her eyebrows when something was amiss. Perhaps the pokemon was more damaged than she thought before.

Such was the case as the nurse cradled the Larvesta in her dinner lady arms. At least it was in good care now, the agent thought. She took notice of the nurse's offer and decided to take up on it. She reclaimed her Taillow and placed two pokeballs on the counter for the nurse. Mac and Claire weren't walking wounded, but they weren't in tip-top shape either.

"Thanks nurse," Sherry said before turning to Yuuka. "There's a small cafe nearby if you're looking for food. We can even pick up something for our partners there while we're at it."

"Dustox! Confusion!" Bug Catcher Jeremy ordered, and the moth Pokemon sent out psychotic wavelength, albeit less damaging than that of the Butterfree.

"Right. Let's grab something to eat, and then tackle the hideout." Yuuka said. "I learned from those biker punks that the hideout is near the PokeMart."

The Graveler took it, pushing the thoughts aside far easier than Snow. "Rollout!"

Tenshi retracted into a ball, and sped towards the Dustox at high speeds, getting a launch froma natural rocky ramp as it now flew through the air towards the moth.

                "Dustox, quick!"

The Dustox understood what the trainer wanted him to do: play evasively. He began creating clones of himself like how Snow would do, and the clone took the Rollout hit that would've knocked Dustox out cold.

But this also played to Tenshi's advantage. Every clone he hit, he kept gaining momentum, and one by one, each of the clones fell and he sped along like a bullet.

Soon, Tenshi's Rollout was faster than the rate the Dustox could set up the clones. The Dustox had no chance against a fully-powered Rollout.

                    Tenshi grew to Lv: 10!

"No way! You're good!" Jeremy smiled. His show was just beginning. "Go, Whirlipede!"

A wheel-like Centipede Pokemon appeared with a menacing hiss.

"Tenshi, get back." Koishi said, as Tenshi rolled to Koishi's side and entered the pokeball once more.

"Wiggly, your turn to shine." Koishi pulled out another pokeball, unleashing the small little rocky squid, it's tentacles wiggling in excitement. "Wiggly, Withdraw." The little squid responded by curling itself up into it's shell.

Sherry followed the green-haired woman out of the pokemon center, leaving her pokemon behind to be tended to. Now that they had a little moment to themselves, the agent wondered just why a team of misfits and grunts needed a hideout in the city. Better yet, she wondered how it went unfound for so long. Sometimes hiding in a place one never expected was the best thing to do, but when you were found, you were screwed. This gave Sherry a good idea.

"If Team Anarchy's hideout is in the city, shouldn't we get the local authorities involved?" Sherry asked as they walked.

"That would be a decent idea," Yuuka argued as the two girls entered the cafe next to the Pokecenter. "...if they were any useful."

The Cafe was designed with cobblestone and hard pine wood to resemble the old Northern German bars in the medieval period. And the cafe did capture the architectural details well, from old caskets made to look like barrels of beer to the giddy brass tunes from a live band. The cafe had quiet a few people and their Pokemon inside.

"Welcome!" The waitress greeted. "What would you like?"

"Whirlipede! Poison Sting!" Jeremy ordered, and the Whirlipede shot little needes imbued with poison. The needles shot towards the stationary Wiggly.

Sherry didn't think she would be staying at the same cafe again, but she didn't mind. It was a nice place that catered to everyone regardless of social status. Seeing the pokemon with their trainers/masters/companions gave rise to a good feeling within the agent. Despite the crooks, this world seemed very, very welcoming and friendly. She turned to Yuuka and opened her mouth to shoot down her disapproval of authority before the waitress intervened.

That was unexpected, Sherry thought to herself. Still, she wasn't about to ignore the waitress outright.

"Could I have a glass of lemonade please? Or uh, something sweet to drink." Sherry took a quick glance at the menu for a moment. "Oh, and a club sandwich, please."

"That'll be 600 Pokedollars." The waitress said. "May I have your name please?"

"I'll pay." Yuuka said as she opened her wallet and saw that she still had about 3,000 Pokedollars left. She pulled a crisp blue bill labeled 1,000 and handed it to the waitress, who gave 400 Pokedollars for change. "The name is Yuuka."

"Your name will be called when your order is ready." The waitress said. "Have a nice day!"

Wiggly's tentacles came out and grew, longer and longer, wrapping themselves around the Whirlipede and dragging it in with surprising strength for such a small creature.
