Byakuren shrugged as she ate a mouthful of potatoes. She was curious if a Nightbug would know a Leafwing, seeing as their last names were of a similar pattern, but assuming too much would be bad at this point.
"Mmm... Young Sally Leafwing was murdered last night, and I suspect the Scarlet Devil Mafia is involved. I saw a redheaded woman in a green dress leave the scene of the crime before moving in, and I've come to learn that she is part of the organization." Byakuren shook her head. "However, I have no concrete evidence that pins the organization or woman to the crime. For all I know, this Meiling woman could have been in the right place at the wrong time."
It felt strange to be defending a criminal, but Byakuren didn't have all her facts straight. Criminal or not, everyone deserved a fair trial and a fair line of reasoning.

"Ah. My condolences." Wriggle sighed in honor as Mystia arrived with a freshly brewed coffee. "Scarlet Devil Mafia, you say? I heard they're up to no good recently... Do you think this is a prelude? Or just a regular routine gone horribly wrong?"

Yuugi was enjoting her coffee as she was strolling through the street "I got to find about those two groups.. the scarlets sometimes like to show they are the powerful group, and then that mind assaulting one hasn´t leave a hair of what the underground knows less than nothing.." she said to herself and finished her drink
The oni sighed and threw the vase into a trashcan "Aw hell.. I will surely find something sooner or later" she said walking forward

"As far as I can tell, Miss Nightbug, this was a regular routine if this was the Mafia's doing," Byakuren answered. She thanked Mystia for the coffee and took a sip before returning to her thoughts. "Miss Leafwing, from what I've gathered from the landlord and a few associates, was in debt and struggling to earn a penny. The blockade had hit her hard, and when she went to the bank, it declined her. But the Mafia said yes, and when she could not repay their services, they took her life as payment."
Byakuren paused to take care of a few bites. For the price of eating here, the food was something else. There was something in the potatoes, Byakuren thought, that made them divine. Seasoned salt, perhaps?
"If a group makes an exception for just one person, they have to follow through with others. The death of Sally Leafwing was a message." Byakuren looked up from her meal. "Your money or your life."

"Ah, how world runs on money." Wriggle sighed as she took a bite on her food. As usual, Mystia's food was beyond excellent. "I'm thinking of doing some philantrophic acts after a meeting in Oslo, to help the community. Road repairs... Maybe a public library."

Yuugi sat on a bench and looked at the places around her "Interesting district we have here" she said to herself while looking at the many business of varied elements. Despite the prohibition and mafia wars. The people of Gensokya managed to have a good day.
Noticing the restaurant with the title of "Moineau" the oni couldn´t help but see the detective enjoying some breakfast with what looked like a friend of hers. She decided to talk to the detective later to not interrupt the auburn haired woman´s time of peace.
("When she finishes I´ll talk to her, this information might be of use to her") the oni thought and looked at some flowers that had yellow petals "You would have liked to see this piece of the old times.." she barely said remembering a lost memory

In their eyes, she was but a simple target or mark who failed to deliver on time. But for Byakuren, Sally was a person who had a life and a dream, and being ripped from both of them was a crime in itself. Finished with her meal, Byakuren wiped her mouth and went to nurse her coffee.

"One way or another." Wriggle said, standing up as she was finished with her meal. She left a large tip in addition to the normal food cost and began to leave, but not before saying to Byakuren: "Be careful, officer."

She sat back and watched Wriggle leave before taking another sip of her coffee. What a kind, enigmatic individual, Byakuren thought. It wasn't often that someone with class and money went out of their way to better the lives of others. It didn't matter if Wriggle was just expanding the market or providing herself with more outlets for capitalist gain, as long as she was contributing to society and helping those less fortunate than her, everything was lovely and fine. Hell, the woman could have a moonshine still in her basement and Byakuren wouldn't think any less of her. With those thoughts aside, the detective paid for her meal and gave a 20% tip for Mystia.
This was nice, Byakuren thought as she searched for happiness in her cup of coffee.

Yuugi noticed that the green haired woman was leaving the detective and she waited for a bit so Byakuren could relax "Well then, let´s get this show started" she said standing up and walking towards the restaurant
Entering the building, the oni looked at everyone with a calm face and went towards the Auburn haired woman. "Good day detective, may I bother you with a conversation?" she greeted her still in her calm mood
