Deep within the Jungle of the new world, The Shinka Knights and Ragnarok made their way to a set of coordinates in which unspecified radiation had been leaked Both sides suspected the radiation to be either the lost antimatter crystal, thus causing both sides to run in rashly. Peter Brooks had given Jason orders to escort Cooper to the area with the supposed antimatter radiation, and protect him until he was able to locate and safely extract the crystal. There was only one other Infecta with Jason and Cooper at the time but a back up unit had been promised.

It wans't long before The sound of hell makers and harassers filled the air. The small infecta unit, rather than fighting them head on, would hide in the shadows and follow the hellmakers until Cooper could pinpoint the sours of the radiation, at which point the infecta would race towards the crystal. Much to their surprise the hellmakers were not travailing alone. Up in the sky were multiple dragon shaped air aircrafts. The aircrafts, lso known as Harassers were extremely fast and powerful ships, but they were pretty useless in a jungle where you can't see the ground from the sky. Could this be a scout unit? Or maybe they were the only ones in the area?

Meanwhile in another part of the world, in an open field, Brooks was on his way to answer a distress call that had been sent out by Ghost one, A recon unit that specialized in Shadow crystals. Upon arriving in the approximate location, Brooks was attacked by a Ragnarook Unit that consisted of scouts, medics and infantry. The whole morning had been chaotic with one incident after another which left the infecta spread very thin. Mines were collapsing, units were being attacked, and important discoveries were being made that required immediate attention. The Infecta's Home base was left with fewer than 15 soldiers to protect it. This all seemed too convincing to be a coincidence All units had been ordered to return to base ASAP or immediately after completed their unique missions to prevent Ragnarok from attacking the base while their soldiers were spread so thin. As Chaos and confusion consume the land, It's anyone's guess how the conflict will end.

Jason didn't know how long they had been out in the jungle, but all he knew was that he, Cooper, and their newest member to the team were very close to the Hellmakers and Harassers up above. One of the only comforting thoughts in Jason's mind was the fact that they were well hidden, out of the Ragnarok scouting party's line of sight, all while still keeping a decent view of them. It had been a while since Jason was given an escort/stealth op like this. He would have rather been given an assault op, but he was okay with what he had. All he had to do was protect Cooper until he was finished. Any easy enough job, right?

As the Hellmakers and Harassers continued to fly up above, Jason covertly motioned with his hand for Cooper and the other Infecta to remain still. Jason didn't know what the Ragnarocians' next move was, so in the meantime, he would wait.

Jungle | Day

A lone figure was sitting on one pf the many branches of hidden by the lush flora of the jungle, her attire was well camouflaged because of the dirt and leaves covering the armor.

Using a scope, the fox tengu located the ragnarok soldiers since they were easier to notice than the infecta people ("One side of the coin, but where is the second one?) she thought while searching on the other part of the jungle.

Putting the scope in its place, Kris leaned on the tree's bark, still alert, but glad to be far and safe from both parties ("I wonder what she got planned this time") wondered the fox about her partner while taking one of her arrows and checking it's tip

Lab - ???

"--llo?"
Static...the view phased in and out of focus. The sound of a woman's voice came in slightly, in between the crackling sounds of the static.
" -a- y-- he-- -e?"
In some of the brief moments that the view came into focus, a room could be seen. In the room seemed to be lab equipment and various electronic devices. A woman with shoulder length hair tied into a pony tail seemed to be looking into something. She blocked most of the view of the room.
"Ne-i-is? Ca- y-u hea- me?"
Focusing on the room and the woman slowly became easier as the static lessened.
"Can yo- hear -e?"

No reaction. The screen froze.

"..."

Starla was of the Ragnarok Stella. She was currently working on a computer with a small camera and microphone array on top of a screen that, a moment before had the image of a girl. Now the screen scattered the image and froze. It had crashed.

"Dammit." She said finally after a moment, rubbing her temples as she leaned back in the chair she was in.
Starla herself was wearing her usual lab attire, with her brown jacket off of her shoulders and a white dress shirt with blue trim.
"What's still wrong? Why isn't this working?" She muttered to herself. After a moment of deep thought she stretched, throwing her head back with her arms outstretched. Once she did, she released and let her arms go limp, swinging down like pendulums on either side of the chair, her head still back. "UGH! I can't believe it's taking this long..." She groaned while staring at the ceiling. "The sooner I can get Nemesis done..." She stopped her sentence as she closed her eyes and relaxed, then she finished it in her mind. "The sooner I can figure things out on my own."

Jungle

From a distance, hidden amongst the brush, a tengu by the name of Soane was watching through a pair of binoculars. Things were normally quiet between Ragnarok and the Infecta lately. What had stirred them up so suddenly? Her raccoon-like ears twitched with curiosity. She surveyed the area fro any clues, but all she got were view of Hell-Makers and some Harrassers. She made a hmm sound, but continued her search.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.

You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

Outskirts of Infecta Home base

Nisen crouched in a tree observing the outpost. Today a lot has happened and it was the thinnest he has seen the infecta been spread over the last three days. This was probably the best chance he had, but to make sure he tapped on his earpiece to send a signal to Sonia. A tiny voice spoke into his ear soon after, "yep, this is the best chance you are likely to get, they are spread all over the place dealing with problems, but they must have realised their forces are spread too thin, some are on their way back, so you need to get in and get out quickly." He bobbed his head quickly, knowing his sister would be able to see what he is seeing and would interpret the move in the field of vision as a nod.

He dropped to the ground silently, changing colours as he did so to maintain his camouflage. He darted to the nearest guard outpost, flitting through the guard's field of vision for a short while, before appearing before him and slamming the hilts of his knives into both of the guard's temples, knocking him out before he could make a sound. He then quietly put the guard down, usually there would be more than one guard in this area, but with them spread so thin he could make it in without alerting the others. He then started sneaking around the infecta home base, looking around at as many things as possible, knowing what he is seeing would be recorded. He also started placing miniature cameras and microphones on the windows of important looking buildings. Sneaking into them would be too risky, but the camera and microphone were of high enough capability to record what is happening through the glass, so he need not enter the buildings.

KATRIX PLEASES MOVE THIS SO IT'S THE SECOND POST IN THE IC

-----LOCATIONS-----

Shinka HQ: This location is wher the Infecta ship landed and was reconstructed into a building using the remains of the former ship. It's the furthest most eastern landmark in the world thus far. The HQ is in between a forest and a mountain which gives them protection from both sides.

Death Vally: In the middle of a forest lies one desecrated valley of land where the taint bombs had been set off. The area (which is south west of the infecta HQ) was filled with dead plants and purple/black radiation from the taint. The taint quickly spread through the forest and infected the majority of the creatures within. It's rumored that somewhere within this tainted wasteland that Seki rests her head.

West star: West star was the name given to Ragnarok's first military base that they were able to establish on this planet. It would also be the same location they launched the tainted missile from. Being on the western side of the contaminant West star is close to the beach and surrounded by open planes,

Other locations: Most of the world is uninhabited, however there are multiple mines and outposts located around the continant which can be owned by either faction. There are also tousands of Ragnarok ships orbiting the world, It is here wher Ragnarok keep their scientests and medics until such a time as they are needed elsewhere.

The hellmakers and harassers advanced towards the source of the radiation as The infecta unit slowly followed. suddenly the device Cooper had used to track the radiation began going haywire, The malfunction caused enough noise to alert the enemy unit that the Infecta were there. Before they could do anything, all hell started to break loose. There was an extremely loud roaring/howling nose that could be heared from miles, followed by the sound of thousands of footsteps It wasn't long before the Infecta and Ragnarokan Unit would be in the presence of a massive Zombie rampage. Sure the tainted creatures always attacked in numbers but they were usually inn groups of 50 or so. What was causing this strange behavior?

The cretures rushed in with super human speed and tipped over one of the hellmakers with ease, they began to rip it apart and slowly drag out the screaming Stella,s that were inside and began ripping off their limbs on the most horrible way possible. It was around this time Seki contacted hey Partner with the voice transmitter she "borrowed" from Cooper. "Kris Get back to the camp. Things are about to get Ugly" She said in a slightly worried tone. The creatures ripped apart parts of the hellmaker and began tossing them at the harassers, they seemed even more hostle than usual, like someone had royally pissed them off. the harassers atempted to kill as many of the tainted creatures as posible without dropping a bomb on their allies but there were simply too many.

Meanwhile to the north Zombie attack, colonel Peter Brooks was having a war of his own as he valiantly fought an entire unit of enemies. Using a weighted staff, Brooks took one of the scouts off of his feet and used magnetism to create a double negative charge which would send the scout flying backwards into two of the other enemies. One of the worries got behind him and even managed to draw his rifle at the colonel from behind. But before he was ble to shoot, Brooks but up a magnetic barrier around the soldier so that the moment he shot, the bullets would return and strike the man himself rather than it's intended target. The scouts got up again and used strange gadgets on their arms to instantly deploy what looked like a riot shield. The scouts quickly rushed in at the colonel, who swiftly stopped them by insheathing and tossing up half a dozen knives, which he then pushed towards the scouts at such a high speed that they completely pierced the riot shields, as well as the scout's armor.

As the scouts fell dead, the colonel looked around and found himself to be the only man left standing. He quickly ran over to a nearby ditch where the destress signal had originated. Much to his surprise, ghost one had bean stripped of their armor and tied up along side an enemy recon unit who met a similar fate. "Were they trying to rescue them? what the..." While slightly confused, Brooks took his own men as well as the enemies, back to HQ where he hopped to get some answers on what was happening.

Seeing the whole mess starting to occurr, the tengu took her arrows and bow and started shooting at strategic points, the targets where the arrows landed started oozing pheromones to cover her safety "I see that the party went rough, isn´t it?" she asked to Seki as she started jumpong between branches.

Using an arrow with a rope, the fox used it as a vine to traverse the jungle easier "What´s the plan? I got enough arrows to make a small cover for us to escape without notice or to make a distraction around the place" she offfered to her ally

Without warning, all hell broke loose. There were corrupted swarming the jungle, slaughtering Ragnarokans and destroying their ships. Jason saw how their attack patters were irregular, but right now it didn't matter. What mattered was getting Cooper to his objective. There may have been complications with the plan, but Jason was still determined to get it completed. They needed that crystal, and Jason was not about to quit without a fight. Without hesitation, Jason readied his XMA-38 Assault Rifle for combat and spoke.

"Do you still have a readout on that crystal? Can we still find it?", Jason asked Cooper in a serious tone as he looked over his surroundings and at his radar for any incoming hostiles.
