Who said it would destroy the Consumer? If anything it would at least blow a hole small enough for the Lunarians to get in and caused damage from the inside correct? That's kind of what I was thinking. Not to actually destroy it, but make an opening for others.

actually Sakuyamon can create energy barriers that can withstand inmense deal of stress (it is cannon from the series)
