    Everbloom Forest: Titanium Mies.

Seki reached the mines shortly before Jason and the others would have probably gotten there. It had been a bit longer than thirty hours since the mine had been taken over. There were buildings all around the area where Jason’s home had been. There were holes in the ground where they had been digging. They had spared no time in their efforts to strip the land of its resources. Seki turned back once more to see if Jason was there yet. She gave up her wait after a moment and formed 3 small orbs of fire in her hand. “Well then let’s get started shall we?” She said as she readied her first attack.

Seki formed three more orbs in her other hand to match the ones from before, afterwords tossing each of the orbs towards the mines. The orbs in pairs of three scattered across the ground like light-bugs, going off into pares of three. they remained pretty inconspicuous for a while until the tiny orbs of fire shot up a tiny pillar of flame into the air which extended about fifty or so feet into the air. Soon after each group of three began bundling together until they each formed a wider pillar of fire which had about a three inch radios. All the while Seki was tossing out more and more of the orbs in a somewhat beautiful display as more and more of these pillars formed. At a first glance it appeared to the miners that one of the soldiers hired to protect them was providing some entertainment

When Seki had twelve, three inch fire pillars circling the area, she grouped them into four groups of three that circled areas three feet in diameter. Perpetrations had been completed now Seki snapped her fingers and caused the flames to erupt as each group grew into four, three foot in diameter spinning pillars of raging fire. Only unlike before this fire was highly unstable and incredibly hot. The fire ripped through the ground and rammed into nearby buildings carving out the place and burning anyone who failed to flee in time. The flaming pillars were not fast enough to kill the masses but Seki was causing a ton of damage to the landscape itself as well as the structures around it.

      Everbloom Forest: Titanium Mines

Eventually, Jason and Otori landed right into the quarry.

Jason looked around and saw that Seki was already working. She was burning all of the buildings and killing a person here and there. The mines were much different than what he remembered. There were many buildings and instead of mining into the mountain, it seemed as if they were mining straight into the ground. Jason knew what method they were using. It was a thorough and somewhat fast method called Strip Mining. It may have been a thorough method, but it would also cause irreparable damage to the forest.

Jason let go of Otori and pulled out his black Titanium Alloy knives and clicked the blades open.

"Time to take it back...", Jason said as he charged straight at a nearby armored guard and began to stab him.

Within the span of a single second, Jason had stabbed the guard twenty times! The knives ripped through the guard's armor as if it was made of tin foil.
Jason then sprinted off towards the other people, wildly slashing and killing people as he dashed around the battlefield.

        Everbloom Forest: Titanium Mines

Getting close to what was the remnants of a village, Kris noticed the traveler and the girl working together to kill Tyruss men ("Just look at that, two strangers I meey one night, and here they are again") she thought reading her bow at one guard that was behind Jason who was attacking like a madman

Preparing her shot, the huntress took a deepbreath and aimed to the guardīs waist, she felt the air and moved her bow to adjust the direction, preparing to shoot her arrow, Kris released the air in her lungs, but this time, cold air flew from her mouth and coated the point of the arrow with ice. She then loosened her weapon and the arrow whistled towards the guard hitting him on his waist

"Hey miner, I suggest you to look at your back too" Kris said while unsheating her sword making a parry with a soldier and knocking him down with her knee on his chest

Phenom was the last one to arrive on the battlefield, though he took it much more nonchalant Than his allies did. As he landed, he skid along the ground and dropped into a crouch. Unsheathing his swords, he jabbed Ard into the ground so as to throw himself into a spin. He pulled the blade out quickly, placing the weapon to his rear and Bast to his front.

He placed the swords low and parallel with the ground as he slid and spun. The rotation and sharpness of the blades separated any nearby soldiers from their feet in one painfully swift motion. As he came to a stop, he calmly picked up several pebbles and began to walk around, seemingly without aim. Every now and then he would flick a pebble at hypersonic speeds into an attack soldier or one preparing to attack his comrades, but what he was really looking for was the one in charge of this operation.

            Regius prison

Yomi clenched his teeth, not making a sound as once again, cold steel carved a new incision in his leg and more salt was poured in the wound, he was deep within his own mind, hiding from the pain. The guards were apparently still going 'easy' on him as it was still early. They had interrogated him about "seki", as he knew not much about her, he could not tell them much, not that he did, he hated people who tried to get answers by threats, force and any other form of "bullying", partly because he could not do anything against it as his strength was inadequate, partly because due to his earlier childhood experiences, he hated bullies. He just had to wait for his chance, he found that he could use magic in this 'interrogation' room, he supposed it was for those who used magic to torture and they made sure that the victim was in too much pain to use magic, which was true, he had not been able to concentrate enough to summon even a tiny flash.

Suddenly an announcement came on: "attention all, there has been an attack at the titanium mines in the everbloom forest by multiple magic users, all soldiers and mages, this includes all guards and apprentices, are to report to the east gate in preparation to set off, everyone will be needed to subdue this band of magic users." The guards paused in their work and conferred for a while, then they unlocked the manacles around his ankles and wrist, Yomi sensed his chance and kept himself carefully limp, as he had been for a while now, pretending to be unconscious. The moment they opened the last of the restraints, he channeled all the pain in his legs into raw energy that he released in a long lasting blinding flash and also to turn himself invisible. A few of them gave shouts of surprise, but this went unheeded as they were often heard in these rooms. He quickly grabbed the knife they had used to cut him and stabbed them all in the heart, killing them.

Then he reached over and grabbed a water pitcher on a stand nearby and after a few gulps, started washing his wounds, unable to keep himself from screaming out in pain as he did so. Finally when he had washed away the salt, he slowly stood and tested his legs. They buckled and sent him crashing onto the floor. Only after much cursing and panting could he get up. He then filched one of the dead guard's uniform, hoping that no one would notice the bloodstain before he exited the compound and he could use magic again. He stepped into the corridor and started following the guards that were heading to get weapons, trying to walk without limping and keeping his head down so that none would see his youth. logically, the prisoner's items would be kept near the guard's armory.

His guess paid off and he located his pack and huthvirn, but the food was gone from his pack, as well as some of the more valuable books, probably taken by the guards. He shrugged food and books were the least of his worries at the moment. He hurried out of the compound and turned invisible, changing back into his own clothes. Now, he needed to get to the forest, he knew some plants there that would aid his recovery and he had to use those as he could not heal himself. He thought about how he was going to get there with the multitudes of soldiers headed in the same direction, then he remembered a phrase he had read, and it would certainly help now.

" the last place a man looks is right beneath his feet."Yomi mumbled to himself as he limped through the ranks of soldiers and stopped hiding himself. It would be easier if he did not need to worry about avoiding the soldiers, he decided to break off the moment they reached the forest. He thanked the fact that his jeans hid the wounds although he chafed at the fact that the fabric kept rubbing against them.

            Everbloom Forest

Yomi grumbled silently to himself as the two soldiers carried him. Some soldiers had noticed that he was limping and had trouble keeping up and had also seen his youth, and questioned his presence. He had to come up with a story on the spur of the moment. So now they believed that he was a mage sent to help, this explained why he came despite his age and limp. But the soldiers had insisted on carrying him on a stretcher so as to relieve him and to keep up as well. So now he was stuck with them at least until they reached the mines, then he would be able to turn invisible and escape in the chaos.

              En Route to Everbloom

Dead men tell no tales. Eric found that to be a lie. Given the circumstances, a dead man could tell much more than a live one ever could. They held no secrets to those who were perceptive, which was what Eric realized when he stumbled across the corpse of what looked to be a guard on the path to the Everbloom forest. With the way the man was splayed out on the ground clutching his stomach, it appeared that he was the victim of a brutal stabbing. The merchant squatted down to inspect him, revealing a few more wounds that seemed to have been from the past. Whoever did this was probably a close acquaintance or a bandit, not a professional.

The guard was young and wearing the armor of Regius. Eric shook his head at the sight. Too young to get a prostitute, too young to buy himself a beer. Much too young to die with a knife in his gut. There were times where Eric tired of the mindless fights in Aeterna, how everyone who died was a real person elsewhere. This place looked like a wonderland, a game of sorts. It was anything but. The merchant shook his head to dispel that thought before patting down the guard for supplies. He managed to take a few bandages and an unopened flask of oil, most likely for an oil lamp that was pilfered.

"Sorry pal. I need this. You don't," Eric muttered as he waved the bandages.

Bob brushed his back with his nose, spurring the merchant to get back up and on the road. Eric obliged him after another pat-down, soon continuing on with his travels towards the Everbloom Forest. Funny... It seemed like the place was experiencing some activity.

Were this fight under normal circumstances, Seki would have out herself on the front lines and would had been attacking anyone who wasn’t Jason since she was not aware of any other Allies. However this was one time that Seki fought very differently. She stayed in the cover of the forest and and continued carving the land with her four pillars of fire. She was trying to do something she had only been able to do once, and NOT during an actual battle closer observation would show she had been carving out a large sigil that into the land. Something like this would utterly destroy the mine but it’s not something one could simply do in a battle. However, with not one but three other people fighting the soldiers, they would more than likely assume one of them was responsible for the fire and not even seek her out.

                  Everbloom Forest: Titanium Mines

Jason saw that some of the guards were equipped with Titanium armor and weapons.
To counter this, Jason put away his knives and pulled out his Chainsword. Jason pressed the starter button on the base of the swinging handle, causing the chains to slowly glide along the length of the chainsaw portion of the blade. The very moment the Titanium Alloy chain gained momentum, Jason augmented its speed. The chains spun with incredible speed, causing some of the air around the chain to blow away.

Jason held this greatsword/chainsaw monstrosity to the side and dashed 600 mph towards the Titanium armored guards.

As soon as he flew past the first guard, Jason made the chainsaw portion of his blade meet up with the guard's shin. The chains shredded through the weaker non-alloy Titanium and relieved the guard of his leg. Jason then followed through by making a sharp turn and spinning his Chainsword. The bladed side met with the guard's unprotected neck as he fell to the ground and decapitated him. Once Jason was done with that armored guard, he ran to the next one. This time, the guard was prepared. The guard swung his sword in a downward arc, ready to cleave Jason's head in two, but Jason blocked the blow with the chainsaw portion of his sword. Hundereds of sparks flew as the guard's strength caused his own sword to follow through with the swing, cutting his Titanium sword in half. The guard looked at his destroyed blade in shock as Jason then prepared a counterattack.
Jason pushed up on his Chainsword, causing the supersonic chains to meet with the guard's chin. The guard's helmet shredded away as the chainsaw did unspeakable things to the guard's face and head.

Once Jason was done killing those two, he quickly looked around to see if there were other Titanium wearing guards. Luckily, there were none, but soon more would eventually come. With this knowledge in mind, Jason flew past the guards and straight for their wooden warehouse. Jason put away his bloodied weapon and then focused on destroying the building. Jason took what he had learned at the forge and put it into action.

Jason focused on all the air molecules in his vicinity and caused them to vibrate faster and faster. All of a sudden, the air around Jason ignited, causing a large heatwave to burst forth and light the warehouse on fire. Jason made the air hotter and hotter, making sure that he kept a null barrier around him, to protect himself from the 4,000 F temperatures. The warehouse was quickly swallowed up in flames as Jason ran around the building with his heatwave lighting more of the warehouse on fire while intensifying the flames.

                    Everbloom Forest: Titanium Mines

As her targets fell down unconscious, Kris then prepared her bow for far soldiers, but only saw not taken down but murdered remnants of what they were ("By the gods.. this is what they really want to do against Tyrusī men?") she thought sick with the stench of death

Checking each soldier hoping they were still breathing, the huntress only found dead people and more that had lost limbs with a chainsaw type weaponry, but she found a surviving soldier barely breathing. Quickly taking her purple berries Kris tried to convince the soldier "Hang on, try to eat this, it will keep you alive" she said as the man swallowed some berries and then went to check the mutilated leg, starting with the most critical part "This will hurt you, hold onto this" she warned giving the man a piece of wood so he could chew on it.

Using her ice magic, Kris coated the vivid flesh burning it with its intense cold, the man screamed in pain almost snapping the wood with his teeth, but atleast the wound was scarring and holding off the blood. the huntress bandaged the limb and looked at the man "Whatever happens, just stay awake" she lifted him and they walked to a safe spot for the soldier.

("Now I will find the person who caused this, and he or she is surely on that burning warehouse") she thought with anger already speeding up to the source of the flames. the place was engulfed on fire, Kris didnīt hesitate and prepared a volley of arrows, breathing deeply she coated them with big pieces of ice and shooted them to the warehouse in an arc shot making the arrows fall in different locations of the building, their ice melting with the fire becoming water and stopping the flames

Moving towards a man who was making more flames, she shouted "Are you out of your mind? why are you burning everything? she had her bowlowered , but had some arrows just in case of him attacking

He then spoke, despite the chaos and destruction around him.

"These are my family's mines, so I can do whatever I want with them. I'm destroying them so Tyruss can't use them.", Jason said to Kris in a somewhat angry tone.

His anger wasn't intended for Kris, but it was for Tyruss and his men.
He then charged up another heat wave, evaporated most of the water, and continued to burn the warehouse down.

The huntress wasnīt angered that Jason was burning his own home, but doing it to anger the enemy would cause even more chaos "Look, if you destroy this place and Tyrus men see what you did, not only they will target you, but will dedstroy evertything in the place they find you, so please stop this nonsense" she said now sealing the chest injury of the barely conscious man with her ice magic

Jason was getting impatient by Kris's words. Not only that, he decided to try and stop her argument with one of his own.

"I'm not trained to fight either... Let me tell you something, or rather, let me ask you something. Why should I show mercy when they showed none to me or my father? Did they show any mercy to my father when they stabbed and burned him? No. I'm not going to show mercy to a merciless army. They've already destroyed Kalkun to find us, so there's no point in trying to be subtle. They're already killing innocent people, just to get to me and Seki. I'm not going to let them do it again.", Jason coldly said.

Thinking of his father deeply upset him, so he broke off the conversation and continued his destruction.

He then continued on to the next building, blasting it with heat waves and igniting the wood.

Otori just casually followed Jason, killing anyone that tried to kill him with a wind scythe.

"Jason, where exactly are we headed? Are we mindlessly killing off soldiers?"

He pulled out the capsule, closed it, then began concentrating pressurized air into it.

Jason didn't turn around to talk to Otori.
Instead, he simply spoke as ah burned down another building, causing people to run out.

"I don't really care. I'm burning down the buildings. Do whatever.", Jason said as he began burning down a third building.

Jason's heatwaves were so intense that they could melt Titanium, so wood was effortless to burn. Each building he had destroyed only took about two minutes to burn to the ground.

Jason then turned to Kris and spoke.

"Then the good ones better stay out of the way or I will not hesitate to either defend myself or kill them. I bet Tyruss doesn't want me to destroy his supply of Titanium. I also bet that he doesn't want me to kick down his front door and attack him.", Jason coldly said to her.

What Jason was saying was true. He killed a lot of people, but so far it was only the ones that tried to attack him.
