Episode 9 of "The World Only God Knows" basically shows this off. When Elsie (one of the two main characters) speaks to her, she is unable to say a thing and goes extremely quiet except for a few whimpers.
Throughout the episode, she monologues about her love of books and how self-conscious she is. The episode even leads to a very funny phrase said by her. "Thankonomics." Of course, she gets extremely embarrassed by this and becomes even more quiet than usual. Which leads me to just outright D'aww-ing over it. Even I, TRXD - creator of Trista L. Soul, am not immune to the cuteness of shy girls.
Also, love the Pokémon-Touhou drawings. They look so much like Sugimori's artwork.

Just leaving this here as a reference to some of John's weapons.
.950 JDJ
This is a gun I wanted John to get in the future.
This is THE ULTIMATE armor piercing weapon!!!
The gun is not that much different from a 20 mm rifle, other than the fact that it has a higher amount of force behind the bullet and a fatter round, making it more damaging to what it hits.
I was thinking that it could be a militarized version of the gun, or even custom made. Maybe something like a larger Barret sniper. The Barret .950 JDJ.
John would be able to handle it, due to his weight and strength, and god help you if he melees you with it.:p
Punt Gun
A guy can dream, can't he?
The punt gun uses 2-gauge shells and is F*CKING HUGE!!!
John would be okay for the most part, but he would definitely be affected by the recoil.

It is basically a smart grenade launcher. John would carry High-Explosive and Armor Piercing 25 mm shells, maybe door-breaching.
AA-12
A shotgun to John's arsenal. John would use 12 Gauge and Frag-12 rounds.

I haven't read the manga and I have yet to finished Season 1 of the anime. But I noticing something like this, it definitely gives me some light ideas about Trista.
I already have several sources where I got some ideas for Trista. Two of which I cannot disclose for personal reasons. And Shiori is such a prime one.
