"Arrogance?..." Shadow was obviously getting angry. However he remembered 3 months ago when he was chasing that man and that android or whatever all over a Chaos Emerald. He let his anger get the better of him then, but not now... not this time. "Hmph. Very well. I'm just warning you about the power that Emerald can possess. I've been searching for them to keep a promise... to someone I once knew. Now if you would be so kind as to hand it over. Then I would be on my way." Shadow replied as he crossed his arms.

John listened to Jason's explanation, but he didn't really care much for it. It would have been much smarter for Jason to have gone to the Human Village instead of trying to break in to a mansion with a knife throwing, time stopping maid, two vampires, a dragon youkai, a powerful magician, a devil, and a whole staff of fairies.
"Sakuya, I'll leave Jason in your care.", John said as he placed Jason on the ground.
After John let him go, Jason slumped to the ground, due to the paralysis spell.

Isaac began to calm down after hearing Shadows explanation and eased his body into a non-combative posture.
"Okay. Now just for you to apologize. It's not that hard to admit you were in the wrong, and I'm not asking for much. For example, I'm sorry for throwing you into a garbage can.", Isaac said to Shadow in a calmer tone.
He then motioned over to Shadow with his hand, asking him to apologize.

Sometimes when you're driving down a road, a bug hits your windshield. It's ugly and unpleasant, but you just activate the wipers / cleaning fluid and it's gone in a few seconds. It's just part of driving down the road. You don't dwell on it, because that'd be silly. Bugs aren't worth the time.
You just discard their guts and keep on driving.

"I'm..." He said as he paused afterwards... as though he sensed something. "I'm sorry, but looks like I must go. You can keep that Chaos Emerald... for now. Next time we meet though... I will get that Emerald." Shadow said as he jumped onto a nearby lamp post. "Just don't be foolish, and don't use it for your own gain. For if you do... then I'll show you the true power of Shadow the Hedgehog!" He said bluntly as he then jumped from lamp post to lamp post until he made it to an alleyway. He then proceeded to speed off down the alleyway at a fast speed.

Isaac was left there in the park, holding onto the emerald and staring blankly at the location where Shadow no longer was.
(Well that was sudden.), Isaac thought to himself.
Isaac looked at the Chaos Emerald in his hand and tried to figure out why this Shadow wanted the Emerald so badly, then suddenly disappear without it. Either way, Isaac now had the strange gem. The only question was, what to do with it? Store it in a safe and wait for Shadow to get it? If Shadow and Isaac had some way to track it, then what about others? Who else would try to track the Chaos Emerald, and what if they were more hostile than Shadow? Isaac shook his head and placed that train of thought in the back of his ind for later. Right now, he had to go home. Keeping a secure grip on the Chaos Emerald, Isaac activated his thrusters and flew back home.

Nera was sick of the guy who at first was like a spy, but now was a random boy "This guy reminds me of that chameleon guy with his emotional masks, even the people of the distorted world would have a headache" the lucario spoke thinking of the distorted world of Giratina
"Well then Patchouli, whenever you are ready, we are prepared for what we may face" she said looking at the magician still not saying anything about the place they were heading because of the guy´s hearing
