Park - Somewhere along the West Coast - California | Night
As soon as Shadow made it into the park he saw a person in armor holding the Chaos Emerald. The man in the armor was about to fly off, but not before Shadow has anything to say. Shadow quickly jumped onto a nearby lamp post, then jumped once more. Now that he was at a decent height he quickly performed a Homing Attack towards Isaac in an attempt to cause him to drop the Chaos Emerald.
(If you do not know what the Homing Attack is, it's basically a technique where Sonic or Shadow performs a spin jump attack that homes in on a target.)

As Jack slapped Elsword in the back of the head with the side of his blade Elsword quickly reacted as he spun around to look at Jack. "That was NOT a cool... move!" Said Elsword who was obviously a little bit dazed from the attack. "I... will finish this off with a... ARMAGEDDON BLADE!!!" He yelled still dazed as he tried to stab the air in front of him... however nothing happened!
Raven saw how Jack's attack had caused Elsword to become dazed, and even a little bit dizzy for the moment. Raven almost burst into laughter as he saw that when Elsword tried to perform the Armageddon Blade nothing happened. "Lily... remind me that when facing Elsword just slap him in the back of the head hard enough to daze him..." He said as he chuckled a bit.

Voile Library - SDM - Gensokyo
John looked at the man and could barely see what the man was trying to say. Instead of removing his helmet and trying to "speak lip" with the intruder, John simply walked towards him and lifted him over his shoulder.
(Why did Patchouli mute us? To keep the secret of Voile safe... This guy better not try to escape. He's going to have an uncomfortable landing if he does.), John thought as he adjusted Jason on his shoulder.
John then activated his thrusters and took off from the ground.

Isaac was about to take off, but suddenly a black ball slammed into his back. Isaac screamed as he hit the ground, but surprisingly, he kept his strong grip on the emerald. Reacting quickly, Isaac turned his body in the air and landed on his back. As soon as he did, Isaac used his Kinesis Module on the black ball and hurled it into a nearby garbage can.
"What the f*ck was that!?", Isaac said to himself as he stood up, ready to face his assailant.

Jack simply stood there, waiting for Elsword to recover. Now that he fought Elsword for a few minutes, he could see that the boy was powerful, but very inexperience d compared to him.

In the past, John remembered Patchouli saying that the books were enchanted to be immune to fire, electricity, and many other verious types of destruction magic and things that could destroy books. Even then, John didn't want the man to even try it, just in case the bookshelves were flammable. John flew high up in the air, pulled the man off of his shoulder, and held him by the torso with his arms outstretched. It was obvious what John was trying to say to the man. If the man misbehaved, John would drop him.

Quickly leaping from the the bookshelves , Nera jumped at the top of the highest one and took the flamethrower from the man´s hands as she was seeing everything from the sidelines of the bookshelves
Landing on a bookshelve, the lucario bended the weapon´s tube to stop it from working at all. She looked at the spartan and the man with serious eyes that she would deal with the rat if he would threaten the library again

Sadly Shadow's attempt to knock the Chaos Emerald out of Isaac's hand failed, and Shadow found himself being hurled into a garbage can nearby. "Damn you..." muttered Shadow as he recovered and hopped out of the trash can after Stasis wore off.
After Shadow hopped out of the trash can he glared at Isaac with a glare that would send most normal men running off. "Hand over that Emerald right now!" He demanded as he slowly walked towards Isaac. The Emerald was slowly beginning to glow as Shadow drew near.

Patchouli appeared with a book that was glowing with menacing red. She fired multiple arcane bolts at friends and foe alike to preserve her library. But it seemed that the mouth-binding spell was disabled.
"I ask you guys to help me with recovering Yuuka's soul, and you go and trash my library. How the heck am I going to trust you guys?"
"Just what the hell is going on here?"
