"And the hero Artix did his job becoming the *new* hero of the time" Nera spoke almost sarcastically as she kept working "There is something with heroes my friend, they are seen like being from higher pedestals or being touched by destiny itself to become legends, but I can assure you that it is a lie that is told to the people to keep the morale up" she said and stretched her arms for a moment before continuing "The seven champions? they trained as if there was no tomorrow to become like that, Noxis, the yaju Nechromancer huddled herself for weeks while preparing to fight the other races, but then the Divines chose her and the other six survivors to become champions. They were all mere mortals who did everything within their own limits, but you canīt ignore the fact that it was mere luck of those seven to be chosen, it could have been only one or probably ten survivors and the ones with more of their race could have done something different"

"But it is my opinion as someone who worked on the sidelines, seeing how the story has been written"

The elderly woman took the offering the apex presented and stashed them away in the sleeve of her long decrepit black cloak. Her one good eye focused on he monkey boy. "You
ve come here because the dark ones have spread their curse... among your kin. You wish to restore life to thei r bodies. But more importantly you seek approval from your... progenitor...your father. You're friend the paladin can help them. But only if she firrst learns the ritual of Uldah...

As for your riches. I see a vision. I see you in a large crowd in a place not far from Sanctuary. You are fighting in mortal combat against a trained assassin. To the victor of this fight goes a gem that puts the one you gave me to shame. For this gem contains power. A power that will lead you and your allies to an even greater treasure.

Keep your frinds close my boy. For the coming days are filled with much danger and hardship. Of cores if you happen to die in your adventures, i can always stuff you with cotten and keep you warm at night. AYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Good luck...

      Sanctuary Castle l Hallway

"..." At first there was no answer for the boy who knocked upon the crescent moon door. A few moments passed with no response. But just when it appeared that no one would answer the two doors gave way and opened themselves. On the other end of the large doors was a young elf mage with silver hair, Off to the corner sat a Yun woman with light blue hair and leaves for ears. She was sitting in a chair simply observing the wizard's work. Perhaps she was his apprentice? The court mage made a few hand motions in the air aimed at the yun woman and she spoke. "My master apologizes for his silence. His last experiment has left him temporarily unable to speak. But he can hear you just fine so please, tell us what it is you need stranger."

As Molack worked on his blade, he couldn't help but notice the tone of they Yaju's voice. It was almost as if she had a bone to pick with Artix and the seven heroes of fate. Or maybe it was just his imagination getting the better of him. It seemed more like the idea of destiny or some divine force pushing a hero to be what they were was what truly sickened her. "Fate? Nahh none of this worlds past heroes would except that as the answer. The seven champions foght to change the fate of man and Artix relyed on his inner strength. But to call their accomplishments luck is also incorrect." The orc stopped the pounding of his hammer for a moment, placing the blade back into the furnace for a few moments to keep the steel hot.

"Heroes like them, they all share a special power. Just as I can forge a blade, they can forge their own destinies. The earth is their ore. The fires of animosity their furnace, their soul is the steel and their will power is the hammer giving them shape. I may not be as old or experienced as you M'lady, but i refuse to leave the future, my future to chance."

He went back to pounding he steel for a few moments before curiosity got the beter of him and he spoke again. "So what was it like?... The fight i mean. The one between the heroes of fate and the divines themselves."

"You are right on that, the ones who did acted when the time needed them were people who did want to do something instead of hoping that things would get better, but again" The yaju continued mending her blade "It is the people who deserve to know the truth that each time that these lands were in danger, they could have done something instead of having the idea of someone appearing from the top of a hill with a signal of hope"

"As I said before, the people would be better only knowing things that would keep the morale up, for example now, people are celebrating for the current hero, and it is ok, but they know little of the world, there is something that I yet donīt know is coming, and we all need to be prepared" the fox spoke in a grim tone.

She then heard a question about the fight of the divines, the yaju looked forward, mostly at nothing as she was revisiting the memory "It was a dark moment, a massive bloodshed would have ocurred and there would be no winning side, only the last survivors of a race that would be near extinction." she said sounding as old as she actually was "You could see them, high on their respective places, with faint smiles and competitive eyes. But alas, they were fooled, one by one, each Divine was slain, every kind of magic was used to stop their own. If they were intelligent enough, the Divines would have worked together to at least retreat, but their own arrogance was their demise."

"Only one was left, the Divine who started this madness, he didnīt even finish speaking when he was killed" Nera looked at the sky from her point of view "I have to admit that it shocked most, if not all the warriors, and luckily it wasnīt that impossible to show that we could all work together"

Saru listened with rather uninterested ears, but as the old woman continued talking his attention was caught when he heard her say that he had come to the city because the dark ones have spread their curse...? Hearing this Saru thought deeply before it nearly snapped. "That is why I have traveled here! My people are being over-taken by a disease! I came for a cure... Who do you mean Paladin? My friend that is female and currently working? I don't care! I need to see the emperor of this city!" Saru spoke both to himself, and the old hag, and was about to leave when she spoke up again... this time about his riches...

What she said though didn't really unnerve him, nor excite him. It did definitely draw in his attention... She told him that he would be clashing against a man in mortal combat. A trained assassin... Saru is to be assassinated? Why would he be fighting an assassin otherwise. That is if someone else he knew was being targeted. The prize is also said to be a gem, and it was one that held a great power. Hearing this Saru turned to the old lady...

"... I will take what you had to say. Maybe you were helpful. Now, I'll be off!" Replied Saru as he then took off out of the Fortune Teller's hut, and off to find Zena.

The young elf paladin was waiting outside the fortune teller's little tent. She was waiting just across the street at a stand that was selling paintings and sculptures. Seems she was interested in art. When she saw the monkey boy exit the tent she gave him a smile and wave as she started talking towards him.

Molack stroked his chin as he pondered what the yaju woman had said. If there really was a new evil coming like the yaju had predicted, how would she know about it? Perhaps understanding and intuition about this sort of thing comes from living so long. She didnt' seem the type that would be up to no good and even if she was in on it, she wouldn't tell anyone about it or give them a warning. But if she was correct then then the old orc wanted to be prepared. The best thing he could do was ask questions and learn as much as he could "A new threat huh? Tell me, can Sanctuary stand against this new evil?"

Zero was surprised by the Yun, his town didn't have one so this was another fist for him. "Molack sent me to bring the mage with me back to his forge." Zero said as he takes the note out. "I think this will explain." He said handing the note out.
"No matter how strong or what power the enemy has, I will fight and protect my friends, even if it cost me my life to protect them. I will fight until I die to ensure their future."

Bingo, right on the mark. Kimley could hear the groans of jealousy from the other caravans as he stood up from his cart. He was a wee bit shorter than the dwarf standing in front of him but, because of the said dwarf's stout body frame, Kimley's rather slender body looked significantly smaller. Kimley wasn't fazed by it, though; no reason to be intimidated by anything unless they're charging at him with a blade in hand... even then.

"Take a look." Kimley merely chuckled as he began bringing out various goods he found during his travels on the counter, as well as little gadgets he made while on the road. If they sell, they sell. If not, whatever; he can try inside the gates.

The yaju took her moment to amswer "It isn't easy to say, but to answer your question, think of it as a balance between to weights, one constantly being filled with flower petals, the good side. Then there is the other weight with a glass that contains a poison, the bad side" she said while cooling her long sword.

"Slowly the flower weight lifts the poison one until it reaches the point where the glass falls and releases the poison, the timing would be next to impossible to predict though" Nera explained

"It is like the feeling of uneasynnes on the back of your neck, slowly becoming worse" Nera said with a sigh "And about this city being prepared, it depends on how ready the people, with special abilities or normal, are trained"

The silver haired mage quickly took the note from Molack and read it over. Sure enough the orc had sent the boy to the castle on an important errand. Now that the boy's errand had been completed, Molack needed to repay his kindness. And that's where the court mage came in. It seemed the only way possible to have the boy's sword done in time for the festival was to use a bit of time magic to his advantage. The court mage made a few more hand motions and his yun apprentice got up from her spot and returned to her master's side before speaking. "My master is ready to leave now." She said as her and the mage started walking not back the way Zero had came but even farther left. Before long they came to an alternate exit that was much closer and easier to get too. It wasn't every day an outsider got to take this root.

Once they were back outside, the rest of the way back woudl be easy. Even i Zero didnt remember the way back to Molack's forge, the court mage sure seemed too. As they walked down the streets of the festival the yun girl spoke once more as she turned her head to look at the dragon boy. "By the way, my name is Bayuu and my master here is named Odion. I used to train my magic at the local mages guild but when Odion found me he said his teachings went far beyond that of what i could learn at the guild. So.. here i am. ehehe!" She said with a faint giggle as she introduced both herself and her master to the young boy.

                    Sanctuary l Molack's Forge

The look on Molack's face was now a very troubled one. If a new evil was in fact coming then it woudl only be a matter of time before that evil found its way to Sanctuary. Molack knew that if that happened there would be nothing stopping his beloved daughter from seeking out said evil and facing it. He wasn't worried for himself or even the city. But the little girl he adopted so many years ago sat on the old orc's heart like a heavy weight. "I only hope whatever new threat awaits us can be kept outside the walls of Sanctuary. My daughter is working as an advocate of the city. She's a sweet girl, do anything for anyone she would. Dunno what i'd to if she were taken from me. It was all the orc could do to hold back his tears. It was clear for anyone to see he really cared for his elf daughter and that he would do anything to protect her. The true mark of a father or mother is the willingness to give your own life for that of your child. And though Molack may not have openly stated this, it was clear he would be more than willing.

Zero followed the mage and the Yun through a different route the he took there. The Yun introduced herself and the mage as well. "Zero is my name. I never met a Yun before. This day is a load of firsts for me." Zero said introducing himself. Bayuu said a little of her past to him as they walk. "I heard Yuns use nature magic. Hope I can see some later." He said as he let out a small giggle as well.

Azeruk quietly thought to himself as he tried to cycle through all the possible names that might have started with "M", but he already knew that it would be rather futile to do so. After all, she didn't remember it at all. Upon hearing the woman's remark to his name, Azeruk simply raised an eyebrow and tilted the right side of his lips, almost as if to convey slight amusement and confusion. At the very least, she did tell him her master's first name. From this, they could possibly track down her master or where she once lived if they could match Jeremy to a list of people. Surely there weren't too many people in the land that were named Jeremy, right? Of course, none of that mattered at the moment. For now, Azeruk was more focused on what he should call this strange, yet beautiful and curious woman speaking to him.

"'M', huh? ... Do you have a name you would like me to refer to you by?", Azeruk asked her.

To be honest, Takeshi was always a little annoyed when Kazeane would begin to act like this. Surely her age would have brought wisdom and maturity with it, but he was sadly mistaken. Although he found her tantrums to be rather unreasonable, he still kept his qualms about her behavior disguised behind a rather casual demeanor. In fact, he knew what he wanted to say to her.

"Because Tenma may have seven sons, but he only has one daughter?", Takeshi asked Kazeane as he raised a brow and tilted his head to the side. Although his comment sounded somewhat sarcastic, it was laced with truth.

The fox looked at the orc "That is the curse of a fortress, it has both a heavy shield, but it loses its power within its peopleīs actions".

Looking at the festival, the yaju sighed "Some of these people havenīt seen the real world, many live sheltered and wouldnīt be ready to face the horizon"

The paladin was relived that the ape boy had actually remembered his quest rather than squandering his riches on even greater riches. Or had he? At any rate if it was so important it required the attention of queen Eatos then it must have been important to some degree right? Zena wondered how the monkey boy could have forgotten something so important but supposed it was better not to pester him about it and instead just help him like she had promised too. "Emperor, do you mean queen Eatos? If that's the case it must be important. luckily we're not that far off from the castle. I can escort you there." Zena said before starting to head towards the large castle in the middle of the city. "So... why DID you come here?"

Molack rubbed his chin for a bit longer as he pondered. It seemed he was deep in thought, his face showed he was both worried and slightly eager. Probably to get everything done and other with so he could go about his life. But slowly the upset look faded from his expression. He closed his eyes and his lips turned into a small smile. He even laughed a bit as he grinned. "Well i can't say for the rest of Sanctuary. but my daughter, while not the best of soldiers has a strong will. Even if i'm to fall in the coming chaos, I have faith that my little Zena will pull through. With people like her, Six Zero and Eatos running around, i'd hate to be whatever evil is coming our way." Molack smiled as he returned to his work, pounding and mending the dragon boy's blade as he had been before."Who knows, maybe this very blade will be the one to stop this new threat."

She wracked her brain for a possible name her new Master could refer her as, but she could not find any appropriate word to settle as her temporary label. It would soon come to fruition, however, when the purple haired girl found lavender for the first time on the lakeside.
